Great location, and that's the only advantage ”
If I didn't prepaid for 4 nights, I'd change on the second day. First of all, the whole fancy room photo provided by Agoda is totally not this hotel. You may check trip.com for photo taken maybe 10 years ago, and imagine what time have done to it. Location is the only advantage of this hotel, if there's something worth praising, the shower with stable hot water and good water pressure could be one. The carpet is the dirtiest one I have ever seen in my last 10 years accommodation experience. I have no choice to buy my own slippers in order not to step on the carpet with my bear feet. (yes, hotel doesn't provide slippers.) Housekeepers did their job okay when make up the room, however, they'll knock your door (with pen on her hand) at 10am ask if you want to make up your room, that's annoying to us. Breakfast with simple selections of bread, juice, coffee, and ham & cheese is warm, but if you go down late (even 30 minutes away from breakfast time ended), it's hard to find toast, glass/cup, or even spoons and forks. I think this hotel is potential if it's been remodelling, but before renovation, you could have more choice for hotels nearby. After all, Gloucester Road Station is on Piccadilly Line which is easy to access from Heathrow airport. Great location it is.

Exceptional”
Excellent service from the staff, friendly and attentive. Free luggage drop when arriving early, offered coffee and snack too, topped up phone battery and set off for some sight seeing, knowing we were returning to a welcoming hotel.

Good Service and nice staff”
Although the elevator didn't work (we were placed on the basement level -1) and needed to carry our language up the stairs (the staff offered their assistance , hence the our opinion). The Tub was very narrow and very high, causing some concern when stepping outside on a wet floor. Should be considered if you have health issues or aged people in your party Breakfast was good !

Great location with friendly staff”
We stayed here for 3 nights and everything was good. Initially we were given a room with a strong sewage smell but the staff immediately gave us a new room after I told them about it. Room was decent-sized, beds and pillow were comfy but the toilet was a little small. Though our room was facing the main road, we could hardly hear the traffic and we had a good rest at night. Breakfast was simple - boiled eggs, bread, cereal, ham, fruits and the usual beverages and juices. Same menu daily. Location was great, just 5mins from Gloucester Road station. Note that if you are travelling on the Piccadilly line directly from Heathrow, you will need to manage a flight of stairs up to the exit. There is no lift up. However, if you take the District/Central line, the lift brings you right up to the exit. Overall, it was a good stay and we will be back.

Pleasant hotel for short stay”
Great location and staff👍 The minus would be the tiny room with no long bath. Despite the tight space, the room was cosy and clean. My room was half a floor up or down the lift landing levels, between 3rd and 4th floor. So if you prefer not to lug your bags over a couple of steps, do ask for one that is on lift landing.

Best Ibis ever”
I've been to many Ibises in my travels and this one is definitely the best. It has an in-room safe, a hairdryer and a comfortable bed. The location is perfect – near a Tube with 3 lines. For the price, it is a great place to stay.

Disappointing”
We chose Ibis because we thought that we could could count on a good standard at a reasonable price. Our first room was barely bigger than a cupboard, without even a table. The thermostat for the heating didn't work, there was just a blank screen. The staff couldn't fix it but promised us another room for our second night. Then we discovered that the tap in the bathroom leaked so there was puddle of water on the floor every time we used the tap. The second room was a little bigger but cold. It was our first disappointing experience of Ibis.

It was OK”
Rooms were very small but clean, location is also good (Tube is 3 min walk) I wanted a glass cold water in night and we did not seem to have any cold water to room, in morning when had shower it was too hot to stand under and adjusting temp did nothing (staff on check out just said they will get maintenance to look and did I ask any staff for some cold water at 3am!!!!) Also no tea bags at the kettle area. I wouldn't stay here again, you can get a lot better hotels for the price.

Reassuringly good”
Booked this place at short notice after cancelling stay at another hotel due to awful reviews about cleanliness and lack of staff. So pleased we came here. It’s pretty basic but super clean . Rooms not serviced during stay but that’s really no problem . Clean towels and tea and coffee replacements are freely available on request. Breakfast buffet in large and airy basement room . Good selection of cold items . Area perfect for visiting all the sights either on foot or by tube/ bus. Will definitely be back.

피카딜리 라인이고 바로 역앞이라 위치가 좋았고 런던 중심에 있는 다른 호텔대비 가격도 적당했음. 방안 카페트가 좀 지저분한거 제외하고 룸컨디션도 나쁘지 않았고 전반적으로 만족 했습니다.
