I stayed at this hotel for a family trip in executive room for 4days which was excellent in accommodation,very good buffet breakfast,rooms were clean and well maintained,staff at the flavours coffee shop was cordial and good in service, room service was excellent and the reception staff,security were helpful.prompt check in -checkout service.This hotel is just 50mtrs from sea side and taxis and Uber available at ease.The food at the restaurant is expensive .

Great hospitality, location ”
Me and my 78 year old mom, we really enjoyed our stay at this great hotel, at really great location. We are very grateful to Tabish. A. Khatik for welcoming us to the hotel and providing us with the best room available to accommodate my mom. Grateful to Raghu, the waiter at the Restaurant for providing impeccable service to me my Mom and my two guests. Last but not least I was really touched by the restaurant's bathroom attendant Mr. Anant Those, how caringly he assisted my mom to reach the bathroom since my mom is in a wheelchair. He is a true asset to the hotel. Overall experience was very pleasant and the stay at this great location was relaxing!!! Thank you all, without any reservations I would recommend Ambassador Hotel Marine Drive to anyone visiting Mumbai!!!

Wonderful staff, generous rooms and very well managed”
The staff here are excellent, they absolutely go above and beyond -I felt so looked after. The outside of the building is deceiving, because inside it is gorgeous. The rooms are generous in size, the breakfast is simple, but nice and the cleanliness is superb. I highly recommend the ambassador and commend it’s staff and management.

When I booked myself into The Ambassador I wasn't expecting much but I was wrong I had the most wonderful stay at The Ambassador. My experience from the time I checked in to the hotel till the time I checked out was a highly pleasant experience. It was beyond my expectations. Only one thing I would like to bring up is they could have had a better breakfast spread and also had a variety of breads like croissants etc. Overall I highly recommend this hotel. Looking forward to staying there once again.

Awesome Stay with good food”
Stay was very good. Few of the staff were really helpful. One of them was Mayuri, and she helped me arrange perfect dinner for my parents anniversary. Breakfast was having too many options for veg and non-veg. Location of the hotel was remarkable as it was next to Marine drive. Perfect location, perfect breakfast so I can say perfect stay.

One of the spacious rooms in Mumbai, liked the cleanliness, behaviour of staff, the only thing felt wrong is the laundryman rang door bell & opened the door himself from outside (as it was left unlocked by me unknowingly), & asked loudly for the laundry while I was taking a nap in my bed

My wife and I had the pleasure of residing at "The Ambassador" for a second time and cannot praise how happy and satisfied we were during our stay at this grand hotel. Everything about "The Ambassador" is grand in every way - from the smiling and helpful doorman who greeted us on arrival, the well presented reception personnel who welcomed us with grace and good manners, and all the members of the staff who went out of their way to please us and comply with all our requests. Great central location for tourists”
We spent 3 days in Mumbai and found the location of this hotel to be the best for us, even after reviewing our choice post tour stay. We were out sightseeing most of the day and in the evening Marine drive walk and many various restaurants were within minutes of the hotel. Although the in-house restaurant is in par with any nearby. India gate (Colba) is 5 minutes by cab costing 50-100 rupees. Churchgate station is 5 minute walk. The staff were almost too friendly, in a good way! very helpful and attentive which i found lacking in a number of similar hotels. For the standard it is excellent value for money, I would almost certainly return.

Located on the Marine Drive next to Churchgate Railway Station, this property has got everything a business traveller wants. Rooms are spacious, staff are courteous. Though it is a very old property, it is well maintained. I didn't tried food during my short stay.

Great location, good hotel”
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect for anyone visiting Mumbai. It is right on Marine Drive. Less than 30s of walk from here, and you can witness a great sunset. Good places to eat nearby as well, very close to Churchgate railway station if it matters. The property itself is quite old, but has been newly renovated and gives a heritage vibe. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but you might find some of the fixtures to be a little dated. Don't get wrong, they're clean and everything is comfortable, but a little old school. If you like heritage properties, you'll like this one quite a bit. The staff is excellent, very courteous. The breakfast was a bit disappointing though, and the service was slow. We had ordered two omelettes and they didn't arrive even after half an hour. So that's an area of improvement. This wasn't a big deal though, and to be fair, they were having an exceptionally busy morning. Would recommend this place for a stay irrespective of the minor issues and would stay here again as well.

Best location, best breakfast and honest staff. Accidentally, dropped my wallet while having breakfast. Came to check out, the front office manager told me the F&B manager found my money clip where I was sitting and gave it back to me. Didn't realised it until he told me that my money clip was missing. When returned, all monies were there. Felt so relieved. Great level of honesty....
