My husband and I stayed at the Family Guest House in Ubud for 2 weeks and would definitely return. The nightly cost of a room is so low, especially when you get to stay in such a lovely traditional environment. It’s a beautiful, genuine Balinese family compound with a temple, small shrines for daily offerings, delightful incense set all about the property, and lush gardens everywhere. The rooms are like private bungalows and we had a huge 2nd floor room, private bathroom plus a large veranda in back facing a bamboo forest. So it was shielded from the sun and rain, and we had a delightful breeze. And nature - birds, roosters - made us feel that we were in a jungle yet so close to Ubud and all it offers. The Guest House is on a side street, easy walking distance to town center, peaceful, and the street it’s on has numerous warungs, laid-back restaurants, clothing stores, tailors. We liked the location very much. There was no air-con but we didn’t need it with the fans.

All in all a very nice and satisfying experience, very friendly and helpful staff, great service and a wonderful beautiful place to stay. Away from all the hustle of the Center but still close by in walking distance!' 10/10

Gorgeous garden and lovely kind people”

We loved our time here. We stayed over a Balinese holiday and were treated like family - meals included and brought to our private verandah at no extra cost. The place is so pretty and the staff incredibly friendly and kind. We went back after a four day tour as we loved the place.

Bali at your door”

I loved staying here. The staff was friendly and it was relaxing. Each morning they served a great breakfast. There are also restaurants on the strip. The area is where the local people live so you'll get to meet some nice people. Be sure to check out the Jazz Cafe for some good food.

Delicious charm and homeliness”

Breakfast was always fantastic, try the banana pancake and the fried bananas. The gardens are so beautiful. The bed is very comfortable, however there were cobwebs and toilet bowl quite badly stained. However these shortfalls were easily overlooked. Oh and the resident driver is extremely nice, great guy :) definitely will return.

This is the second time I've stayed at Family Guest House and I've loved it both times! Although some of the bathroom interiors are a bit dated you really can't fault this place for value for money. The rooms and gardens are beautiful and the family could not be more welcoming. Close enough to the town centre to enjoy the sights and entertainment by foot but far enough to get away from the infamous traffic jam! I would recommend the rooms at the back with the river/jungle view.

the perfect place at the right time!”

starting in bali with ubud, we arrived at this quiet guest house and were seduced at once by their beautiful garden and hinduist temple in the middle. the staff was always smiling and available for any request (bike rent, free drink between activities, etc.). to people who don't like walking (less than 1/2 hour from downtown though) and prefer being in the middle of the tourist crowd (we were 3 weeks ago during high season), this is just not the place to be... but if you want calm, beauty of nature and of people's hearts, then don't hesitate !

โดยรวมถือว่าใช้ได้ พนักงานให้การต้อนรับดีมาก ที่สำคัญมีหลายคนมาก ใช้บริการเช่ารถมอเตอร์ไซด์ก็คิดราคาไม่แพง สามารถเดินเท้าไปตลาดและที่แสดงระบำบารองได้ ไม่ไกลมาก อาหารเช้าดูเป็นขนมไปหน่อย ภายในห้องมีกลิ่นอัพพอสมควร

とても好きでよく来ています。他のところに泊まっても恋しくなってしまいます。ここは、庭がとにかく広くて素晴らしくて、本当にバリを感じられます。朝ごはんもとても美味しい。スタッフはフレンドリーで優しいです。バリ様式のおうちのため、シャワーなどは最新の設備ではないけど、お湯はいつも温かいです。 扉などの装飾も好きです。ウブドに来たら絶対にまた泊まりたいです。 場所は静かです。少し歩けば街中に出られますよ。近くにはたくさんご飯屋さんがありますので、治安もいいと思います。

スタッフのホスピタリティがすばらしい！”

部屋の質と清潔さは料金を考えたら十分すぎるくらいです。きれいな中庭に庭を眺められる朝食テーブル、おいしい朝食…快適にすごせます。またホテルのスタッフが家族のように扱ってくれ親切でとても感激しました。部屋にエアコンがないのが残念です。部屋にないもの：エアコン、ドライヤー、シャンプー＆リンス（固形石鹸のみ）、湯沸かしポット

スタッフの優しさがすばらしい！”

部屋は料金と鑑みたら、十分満足できました。 スタッフの対応がすばらしい！家族のように親切に扱ってくれました。 朝食もおいしく、いつでもコーヒーなど飲み放題、お菓子も出してくれます。 ただ、天井のファンはありますがエアコンがないので、少し寝苦しかったです。

伝統的なヒンズースタイルの宿舎、スタッフもフレンドリィー”

宿泊、朝食等申し分ない。ただ、一部施設を工事中で、一日中騒音があるのと、そのためか水道やシャワーが止まることがあり、困った。オーナーはレストランでバリ舞踊も披露してくれる。また、同じ施設内で、マッサージもできる。

長期滞在にもってこい。”

今後の注文として ・簡単な調理ができる設備がほしい。 ・湿度が高いので、洗濯物がしっかりと乾かない。共用のランドリー設備があれば文句なし。

従業員の方が皆様親切でした。”

夫婦2人で1週間の滞在でした。部屋は予約した部屋のタイプと違いスイートの部屋を提供して頂き、ゆったり過せました。チェックインの時間より 早く着いたのですが、すぐ入室出来ました。皆さんとても親切で居心地は良かったのですが、湿気が強くて寝具がベタベタしていました。又、部屋の壁には、ヤモリが居て気持ちが悪くて、睡眠不足の日が数日ありました。でもそれは土地柄で仕方ないのでしょうね。チェックアウトでは、部屋の追加料金の請求は有りませんでした。

落ち着いて居心地の良いゲストハウスでした”

スタッフがフレンドリーでいつも笑顔を向けてくれました。 朝食はコーヒーか紅茶、果物の盛り合わせ、4種のメニューからメインを選べるのだが、量は少ない。味はまあまあ…か。 いくつかのコテッジになっており、私の部屋は一番奥の建物で道路の車の音も聞こえず静かでのんびりできました。 だだ、ウブドは湿気が多いせいか、ベッドがジメッとしていて、ベッドマット、枕が湿気った匂いなのか、いやな匂いがしました。 夜間は寒くなるので、薄掛けのフトンを借りました。
