Nice Loft Family Type ”
It exceeded my expectations. This Loft Type 2 Bedroom is perfect for 4 pax. It can actually accomodate more maybe up to 8 pax. Both rooms have own bathrooms and double beds. It has a mini ref and a small living room. They have complete set of toiletries and ALOT of towels. 4 sets of bath, face and hand towels. They don't have a hairdryer and wifi is not accessible inside our rooms. You have to go outside the unit to connect. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!!

Hassle free Christmas ”
It was my husband's idea to check in at a hotel near our reunions in Quezon City. Staff were friendly and polite and checked us in right away which was great since we just spent an hour and a half getting there. Room was clean, on a quiet wing of the building, accessible by elevator. Beds were so comfortable; I love the crisp clean linen and light colored duvet, the dust ruffle (bed skirt) of the bed, and pillows. Cool air-conditioning! Food is satisfying, well proportioned, priced just right and served hot. Electrical outlets were conveniently located near work and sleep areas. Four devices on internet and it was just fine! Bathroom was right size, smelled clean, complete towel sizes (S/M/L) and stayed warm while we were using it. Staff were also responsive to our requests. Very satisfying stay and we'll definitely do this again! Thanks Fersal!

No, because the check in officer at the counter did not want my paid booking to be used because i made a mistake on the actual date of my arrival. He told me that they were fully booked but when i told him i will just pay for another night, he gave me an available room after all. They should be honest and accomodating.

No water!!!”
I had an early meeting at 7am so I got up at 5 to get ready. To my horror, the water that came out of the shower was very scanty. I called up the desk to ask for assistance. She assured me that somebody will go up and check. After 10 minutes I called again and was told that the water tank upstairs was already open so i opened the shower again and found out that the water flow even decreased. On my 5th call( I was running late for my meeting) I was fuming mad because the front desk girl just said" I'm sorry for the inconvenience. There's nothing we can do, it will take a long time for the pressure to build up". I'm never going back to that hotel again !

We opted to stay in a hotel to escape the summer heat. Unfortunately, room was warm during daytime. Also the water in the shower wasn't strong. During the first night, It was hard taking a shower because little or almost no water was falling from the shower head.

We arrived past midnight but the staff were very helpful. Our first room was a bit noisy because of outside traffic but we were relocated to a quieter part of the hotel.

You should Consider”
If you're on leaning on the budget side with a some midrange-ish, do consider Fersal Kalayaan. The bathroom is definitely grime free! As for the room we got, it was really nice for its price. Smelled clean. We did get the room with a wondow but decided to just keep the curtains closed since there was nothing to see outside. The hotel is properly positioned in the city. Plenty of food establishments just a few minutes away, two malls within two kilometers... it's just nicely positioned in Quezon City. Other than the window, Fersal Kalayaan should be considered.

Two day stay for medical procedures at Heart Center. Good location with several restaurants nearby. Only complaint was excessive (hourly) charge for late checkout due to late release from Hospital. This even though we agreed to use their overpriced airport transportation

wifi failed, management failed”
I chose Fersal Hotel Kalayaan primarily for the location (close to where I had meetings all week) and because they claimed there was wifi in each room (so I could call into remote meetings with colleagues outside of Manila.) In my first room, the wifi connection was completely unstable and I decided to change hotels, but Fersal refused to give me a refund. Instead, they moved me to another room close to the internet router. While the connection was better, it was still inconsistent so I decided to change hotels as having the wifi connection was essential. I asked for a refund for the days remaining on my reservation, but Fersal refused, despite acknowledging that they had not provided the services that were advertised. I am happy to report that agoda.com credited my account for the cost of the days I had remaining on my reservation. The staff at Fersal were perfectly friendly but refusal to provide a refund when this problem could not be fixed seems completely unreasonable and unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel.

If you are in hurry, forget about their laudry service. Air conditioner is almost uncontrolable. Otherwise, it's not a bad hotel.

Have stayed here numerous times. Valued the comfort this time because we got rained it and instead of going out, we got our friend to come and have dinner with us at Inn Cafe. Food is acceptable, but many items on the menu weren't available. Also, room cleaning occurs rather late in the day.

My stay was ok, the rooms were big and the staff were helpful. It's just that I have to pay for extra water. At least they could do is offer 1 small bottled water as gratis.

Total disappointment... I will never never tecommend this to friends...unfriendly staff, guard that chargw you with wxtra pay dor parking reservation while they will be out for duty before you'll be back and your slot willbe given to others.. Beddings smells bad, with stains.. So yuck...

Our stay”
The hotel was located near the City Hall and there was heavy traffic always. Food was satisfactory and the wi-fi was very good. Luckily our room was at the back so not much noise at night.

Simple functional 3 star hotel”
The Fersal Kalayaan is exactly what you would expect from a 3 star hotel, nothing fancy, just clean and functional. The beds were okay, the pillows were firm (how I like them), the hot water worked, and there was pretty good wifi. The downside is we were put in one of the front rooms the first night, avoid these if at all possible as it means non-stop street noise. The air con works well but makes sure you know it. We stayed here for the convenience of what we were doing in Quezon City, as Manila is one place where proximity to work activities trumps everything. The staff were friendly.
