The hotel was clean enough and near to where we wanted to be. We were a little disappointed not to have the extra towel delivered that we requested 3 times, but that's only a minor issue.

Good hotel, good price!”
Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and 2 kids (3/6), 1 night on either end of our trip to Palawan. Pool was good, location was great, close to the mall of asia and other entertainment complexes. Easy to get a taxi, be sure to arrange one with them before arriving as we got ripped off by the "airport accredited taxi" who charged 2000 php when the hotel is half that and public taxi (although crazy lines) is only about 350php. Rooms are nice, spacious and one had a great view. Construction next door was a little annoying but not the hotels fault. Good stay and would def go back.

Nothing much to do here”
Only advised for transit, not for stay-cation because nothing much to do. Only swim in their super cold pool and go shop at MOA. Advise is take a room with the Bay View because that may be the only good thing there. Sunset on a full length window is to die for. Room is okay. Breakfast is very limited. Check in to slow. Lobby is small.

Underrated hotel, great deal for money”
I like the food, especially the breakfast buffet. People should definitely get the lounge package. The service is good. They refill the food fast once emptied. The only problem is the internet. It is slow in the room to the point where you cannot use it, especially if you stay at the higher floors. Don't ever try the pastry in the coffee shop, their coffee is okay though.

The kindness and helpfulness of the staff outweighs the deficiencies of the hotel facilities. This hotel "talks" with their customers. My son enjoyed the complimentary minibar. It needs, however, improvement on their airconditioning and variety of food during afternoon tea and cocktails. Overall, it was a good stay. I would recommend it to my friends.

It was a 5 star stay for us. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. We stayed in Club Bay View - a good selection not just because of the ambience it offers but most of is the lounge access that we had! The inclusive food for 2 adults (tea time, early dinner & breakfast) were unexpected and I only had to pay for my daughter's food which is only half the price. They even set up complimentary cake since we are celebrating my husband's & youngest's birthday. All in all, it was an amazing experience! Will surely come back to HJM! More power to you Jen!

I stayed there with my family for my post birthday celebration. The next morning someone knocked at the door and I was surprised because the staff brought me a personalized cake. My son loved the place and enjoyed the facilities. The staffs were kind and accomodating. I'm sure we will do another staycation here.😊

Tight security. Nice room with complimentary cut fruits. Very easy with Grab just that traffic along the hotel is really bad when we were visiting on Fri and Sat. But Sunday was fine. Provides shuttle at specific time to MOA but please book otherwise bus may not show up. Overall nice place to rest and stay.

BAIT- AND - SWITCH”
We had made reservation through Agoda for 3 person, but when checking in the Hotel claim our room could not accommodate 3 people, and force us to upgrade to a larger room and almost double the price. The traffic surrounding this hotel are extremely busy, there are many other new hotel just south of SM Mall of Asia with less traffic and at a lower price than what we had end up having to paid for this mediocre hotel.

The hotel is located in a great location with so many things to do along the seaside stretch. Our room had everything our family with 3 kids needed. Our only issue was that the Wi-Fi would drop out intermittently.

However I have to mention that we had to wait longer then average to be served in the restaurant. Management should really look to improve the waiting times for orders. Other than that there was nothing to complain about.

I love how the check in and check out process was so easy and quick. And the fact that I forgot my ID but all I needed to do was have the photograph of my ID send on the Hotel’s email. The staff was kind and friendly and the food during our breakfast at the Embassy Ballroom was great as well. The only little thing that I was sad about was that we were only put on the 12th floor when I expected a room on a higher floor, considering that we spent our New Years Eve there, I just wished we were put in a much better room with a much better view. And also we requested for a King sized bed but gotten 2 single beds instead. Nevertheless, it was still a great stay. 8/10 is my rate.

Nice rooms in a nice location, but apalling breakfast”
The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and clean as well, as you'd expect for a hotel of this caliber. I also find it to be a great location near Mall of Asia and the ferry ports (for a trip to Corregidor), and also convenient to the international Airport. Given the great staff and other satisfactory elements, why such a lousy mass-produced breakfast? It's no better than a dirt cheap roadside "eatery" for locals. And the coffee? Well you have to use some fancy labor saving machine that makes bad coffee. You can't even get brewed coffee to order. I'll be looking elsewhe

Value for money. We didn't spend a single cent on lunch and dinner. Afternoon tea and cocktail-dinner is more than enough. And also, the weather is too hot, no appetite to eat outside. Hotel lounge is clean and food is nice, the view is super good.

I was check in around 2pm and was lying on the bed found that the pillow is very smelly. I don't know the smell is came from the pillow or cushion display on the bed. Few hours later, I check out and feedback to the receptionist. I did not request for change room because I'm not staying for overnight. Check in at 2pm and I was check out at 4.30pm. All the staff are fabulous friendly, just disappointed on the room cleanliness paid for club room.

The hotel is very accessible to PICC where the convention was held. I also have an access to the lounge which has great view and a little something for the customers. I just hope that the elevator is on a tap basis and you dont have to insert the card everytime you wanted to go up or down the building. Food for the breakfast has a lot of varieties and was very delicious.

The check in and check out process was handled promptly, we booked an executive room, when we arrive at the room, the room lacked adequate lighting, with all the lights and night stand lights turned on it was still difficult to see. The carpets are old and worn looking, the comforter on the bed was thin. We went down to use the fitness center which says is open 24hrs, however when we got there it was locked and needed staff to open, there was only 2 treadmills and 2 bikes, hardly what I would call a fitness center. During breakfast the staff forgot about my coffee twice, and when i finally did get the coffee it was already cool from sitting. We expected much more from this hotel being part of the Shangri-La group of hotels. There are many more hotels in Manila so we will be passing on Hotel Jen in the future.

Warm and Accommodating Staff”
Security check was good. Front entrance door under maintenance. Early check in was accommodated, which was great. Front desk was warm and courteous. Cash deposit of 2k was required. Additional charges for 6 y/o breakfast at 50%. Buffet was okay, not too much variety, but staff were attentive and willing to extend assistance which was good. Over all was okay, tho i expected more of the facilities/ambiance based on what is on their website.

Old and Worn Out Hotel”
Although this Hotel Jen is listed as a 4-star hotel, it is basically an old, musty- smelling glorified pension house. The carpets smelled, the sheets and pillow cases were old and didn’t smell clean, and the bathroom was dirty. Don’t trust the pictures, as they are misleading.

Refurbished Traders Hotel”
The place is affordable and strategically located since it is along Roxas Blvd and is easily accessible. It is near a mall, eating places and convention areas. However, although it has been refurbished, the hotel is many years old, the carpets have an old smell to it, my pillow smelled of sweat and the aircon was not working properly. Breakfast choices are simple but not too varied. It is an affordable alternative for someone who is not too picky.
