I had a BAD experience w/the "lady manager" assigned last 24th of June. She was not accommodating @ approachable the way other managers treated me before. I can say, she was "rude" w/regular guest like me.
I stayed for weekend the room was perfect ,took master suite.. tatami room the staff great, 24 hour room service. Checkout was done in 2 minutes as was check in...I will stay there again. :)Clean bed....crisp sheets, crisp sealed in bag over sheet. Very much I recommend.....close to airport too....please forward my mail to hotel because it was that good....thanks

after notification it would be an after 1 am check in the plane arrived 3 hours later and the room was still not ready even though it was prepaid.. finally had to settle for a cheaper room but no refund as i was tired after 22 hours of travel.

TERRIBLE STAFF, MANAGER IS EVEN WORST!!!!!!”
It is not my first time to stay at SOGO Harrison Road in Pasay, in fact, i have stayed there for more than 6 times every time I have to travel. This time, my cousin and I checked in late and as per request to My booking, I’ve clearly indicated we are going to check in late and check out the next day at the same time, As per agoda’s note special request is subject to availability upon arrival, since this is not the first time we stay at the hotel, it was clear that we will check out in 24 hours as per our previous stays. However, we went out during the day, left our key at the reception and the moment we came back, they told us that they are running us at overtime fee without even informing us and calling us. The Manager was so unhelpful and told us to contact Agoda.... the point is they should have informed us that we cannot stay and have a late check out and told us that we should check out at 2pm because we checked in at 2 pm which was impossible since my flight only landed at 8pm the night before!!!! Who checked us in? Im disappointed that all the staff were so u friendly and did not even bother to explain us anything but we have to pay. That’s it!!! Unbelievable service!

Different check out time”
I booked sogo through Agoda before and checked out time was the same time you checked into sogo. Now I was told by Sogo that Agoda changed the time for check out to 12.00. But if you booked straight with sogo or just walk in the check in time is the time you check out (example: check in at 7.00 pm you can check out next night at 7.00 pm) The staff were very kind to allow us to check out late since we were not aware that for agoda booking check out time was 12.00 different if you walk in or book direct to hotel. We were told that Agoda changed the check out time. Front desk staff of sogo were very helpful and understanding.

The downside to this hotel is that its more of a short time hotel and the bed and pillows are foam and not real comfortable.

SoGo rents based on the amount of time a room is needed which is a plus and often keeps the price down for travelers, especially with an unusual schedule. The check-in/ check-out times are very flexible. The facilities were clean and everything provided. They provided sheets packaged so you must make your own bed.
Short time love hotel. Not recommended for anything more than a short layover”
The sogo hotel chain is a short time love hotel with outlets all over the Philippines. I didn't know this at the time so found it somewhat sleazy. The hotel has very minimal facilities and poor quality food. Rooms are clean enough and the staff are friendly but the service is very poor due to it being a very busy hotel with guests renting rooms by the hour. It's close to the airport and adequate for short layovers to rest and shower but beyond that I wouldn't recommend this place for any other purpose.
My First time”
It's my first time to stay with Sogo Hotel nothing special I just need to stay with them for a couple of Hours, having a Traffic Jam and heavy rain.. Next time I will put much more comment about it..all in all i'm Satisfied..
Decent hotel for the money”
Though its a bit noisy (most of Pasay is), rooms are decently priced and the hotel is close to a lot of what Manila has to offer. I recommend it if you are waiting to go to the airport the next day. I did receive a strange phone call at 10 PM telling me somebody was coming up to settle my bill, even though I had booked 2 nights on Agoda, but he was satisfied with my explanation and no one came.
Truly awful. The staff are surly, unfriendly, and unhelpful. I didn't know until after we booked but they specialize in "short time" stays. If you wanted to take someone of negotiable affection into a room that had probably been used 1000 times before for the same you're in luck. And the cockroaches. After checking out and arriving at your home, don't put your bags and clothes inside your house, spray your stuff first with roach killer and wait 24 hours. That's what we did and found some small dead roaches in our baggages. There should be an option to give this place 5 stars for being "yucks".
Cheap hotel for 1 night”
Ideal hotel for 1 night. Hotel needs refurbishing in standard rooms, as decor is outdated and the air con needs cleaning. TV was good with wide variety of channels. Overall..Good but needs refurbishment

No good sleep because very noisy aircon, outside some loose items that were constantly clanking against metal and prohibiting sleep. Very busy yet disorganized front desk that is not available for any kind of information or even phone calls. WiFi was not working
