City center feel relax! ”
Near phi embassy , Club and resto around, its actually a japanese style spa with hotpool sauna massage resto ,sleeping quarters double deck bed with privacy curtains tv. thankyou! Il'be back when i need to go back to my embassy!
It's a Capsule Hotel/Spa”
This was my first experience in a capsule hotel. Overall ok, but not for me. I really was impressed that they had spa facilities in such a compact location. I recommend for quick overnighters, transit traveller and budget accommodation.
Amazing and relaxing spa for such a great price!”
I couldn't believe all the amenities the spa had to offer (comfy beds with personal tv, stone spa, hot & cold bath, toiletries, etc! And the staff was very accommodating) will go again next time I visit Japan
Very good location, lovely staff”
My stay was very pleasant. The staff is lovely, helpful with a smile. Most of the staff has good English knowledge. The place is located in a perfect location in the middle of the nightlife. The hotel is very relaxing with a very comfy and quiet lounge. There is also a good restaurant with a proper choice of meals. The spa and bath is clean and very accessible. The only bad point is probably the comfort of the bed which is a bit hard and very basic. However it's also possible to have a sleep inside the lounge area with individual very comfy seats/sofas sections. I definitly recommand this place for the price !!!amazing relaxing and quiet hotel right in the middle of all the busy Roppongi nightlife...A real PEARL for the price!!!really enjoyed it and definitly to recommand
You get what you expect.”
I would give it a 5 star if the price was a bit lower and if the people who work outside of the hotel weren't there. There is no way that the second comment can be changed but at least maybe the first one can.
Great Location for a Short Stay”
The hotel was definitely great for a short stay because it's conveniently located in the Roppongi busy area. Despite the fact that it's a capsule hotel, it's clean and well equipped with all the necessary sharing facility.
Staffs could speak variety of languages. However, there are possibilities that thievery might occur during the stay. Hotel located 8 mins walk from the train station. A lot of convenient stores nearby the hotel.
Convenient access from Tokyo metro station”
The hotel was near Exit 5 of the Tokyo Metro Roppongi station. However, you may need some effort to seek it as it is located on the forth floor with inconspicuous signs. The resting area is comfortable and the spa is quite relaxing. Also, it has a great vicinity with a wide spectrum of restaurants and a number of convenient stores nearby. If there's one thing for improvement, it's definitely the curtain of each individual capsule. Whenever you close or open the curtain(i.e. the door of each individual capsule), it gives an annoying sound that is quite disturbing especially when you are sleeping and hear such kind of noise.
nearby the station and cute tiny SPA , but too cold in the dorm and too much noisy as located at city center
More like a sauna with sleeping pods than a hotel”
This is a sauna that also happens to have capsule beds. Not a place for a long-term stay and pretty noisy at weekends, but a good place to crash and the sauna is an added bonus.
Worth it for the spa”
Sleeping arrangements a bit basic and not very clean, but everything else really worked. Great spa facilities to get really clean when you get out of the not-clean bed, and good facilities for just hanging around all day in a chair relaxing. Good if you've been on the road for a while. No tattoos, which might be to do with some problems caused in the area by certain guys with tattoos.
do not book if you have a tattoo!”
The hotel is actually just a room off the locker room of an onsen (public bath house). Very basic, very hard beds, and not a social place to stay at all. I have a tattoo which was very visible in the clothing I wore while checking in, and no one commented on it not being permitted, but the next night I got kicked out of the bathhouse mid shower for having a tattoo. the only way to take a shower here is in the open bath house area, and someone complained and they insisted I could not use the bath house with my tattoo. I demanded a refund as it was visible checking in and no one said anything and I couldn't be expected to stay three nights somewhere I couldn't shower. They refused to refund me or cancel the rest of my booking, so after fifteen minutes of arguing I told them that if they were taking my money I was using their onsen. Went straight back into the bathhouse and used it for the rest of my stay with no further protests, but it was an incredibly negative experience that they tried to kick me out of the only showers and yet take my money. There is also no real common area in this hotel, and while they have a restaurant area with some tables they yell at you if you try to eat your own food there even as a guest of the hotel with no other common areas or tables available. Would not recommend staying here at all.
Not actually a "capsule" hotel”
I was disappointed to discover that this was less of a "capsule" hotel and much more of a hostel- but with strict rules and unsociable people. My "capsule" bed was just a bunk bed with a curtain by my head and a plywood plank between me and the next bunk. The foot of the bed was a window with more boarding over it which blocked out 90% of the light (come morning) but about 0% of the sound off the street- and in Roppongi, the street is noisy until 4 or 5 am. Te bed was a thin mattress on a plywood plank with one of those "sandbag" pillows- read: not comfortable. I woke up about every hour throughout the night either due to street noise (sirens, shouting), uncomfortableness, or other guests talking. Additionally, there are no outlets- ZERO- for charging electronic devices, unless you pay Y100 for 20 minutes at the front desk. There is no where comfortable to talk on your phone since the "lounge" is full of cigarette smoke and then no phones are allowed back in the ladies changing area. In sum, I was looking for a "capsule" hotel experience and was disappointed with what I found here. I would not stay here again and would not recommend to anyone.
No kicthen, no free charger phone, no good wifi”
The staffs are fine, good place, but it`s ridiculous there's no kitchen to warm food, or even worse, You CANNOT CHARGE the phone. It needs to be payed. I never saw that. Wi fi was really poor also. You need pay the locker for shoes each time u use that (means each time u get in there) Just the bath was fine.
Yep, that's a capsule hotel. ”
We were looking to just experience a capsule hotel, and boy did we get one! Free wifi, no real sit down common areas where you can talk, no real recharging areas for phones etc - have to pay for it - but the hotel isn't for that anyway. It's absolutely what it says it is. The Onsen/Spa/Sauna is fantastic though - good facilities.
First of all, for the price I might have stayed at a business hotel but for some reason all were reserved that day. This is a capsule hotel that comes with amenities such as sauna, spa, and massage. If you are comfortable getting naked in front of other people (to use the shared bath and spa), you'll do fine. Lockers are assigned but if you're carrying any suitcase, forget it. I did find people carry them directly to the capsules though. Language with the staffs were okay. You might get confused if it's the first time you've used a shared bath in Japan. Here's my recommendation: burn off some sweat in the sauna or heat room (there's a separate one that uses rocks), hose yourself off (remember to leave your towels on the cabinets outside the bath), then relax in the spa. Afterwards, what most Japanese people do is lay down on the reclining chairs outside and watch tv. You wouldn't want to spend much time inside the capsules. It was my first time inside a capsule and I found it really hard to sleep in. It literally felt like sleeping on the floor as there is, of course, no mattress. I would probably suggest to sleep on the reclining chairs instead, if it was allowed. The air was pretty bad inside the capsule as you only had a small fan doing the filtering. Most people on the reviews mentioned noise. Yes, be prepared to have people coming in and out. And, of course, people snoring if you're a light sleeper. And, it being Roppongi, lots of foreigners and party people outside on the main streets. The location (at night time) was absolutely stunning though. It is within an awesome view of Tokyo tower. I could just stare at Tokyo tower all night from that view.
Staff didn't really explain much, I had no idea about how to find showers or anything, was just given the key and pointed down a hall. Bed was capsule so you can't expect much but it really is like a small coffin.
hotel was ok. Great location, but really loud. ”
This is my second extended trip in Asia, so I feel like I know what to expect. This hotel is really more of a spa, and a single night stay, than a budget accommodation. Expect people coming and going ALL hours. The sleeping area is loud, and right next to the public locker area. There is also nightclub upstairs, so I didn't sleep much, even with ear plugs. The staff does not speak English. Only very few words, so be prepared. I had a small bag 'go missing' from my capsule and no one seemed to understand. Both times, I found it in the cleaning closet, even though the staff denied seeing it there. I think it was just a lack of communication. This place wasnt that great, and I would never recommend it. I would have moved to another place, if I hadn't already prepaid.
Very convenient...but go without a luggage bag”
Very convenient location...but there's no space for luggage. Go with anything that will fit into a narrow locker or store your bag at front desk (for a fee) which is a bit inconvenient. Otherwise a decent place to stay a night or 2.
Cheap, relaxing, unique”
Good , but not a hostel.. No wifi / no communal area, you cannot bring in your own food etc etc.. Its an onsen, with a few capsules.. So great for one night.. But its not somewhere you can meet other travellers.
