Helpful owners but dusty room”
We were told upon arrival that the room we had paid for was not actually available so we ended up staying in a traditional room instead. The linens and mats were quite aged and the room was very dusty and the floor sticky. The wifi only worked in reception. The owners were very kind and helpful though.
If you spend the minimum time in the motel... your good. ”
Okay lets begin, I would say to most non Korean Travelers to give this place a miss. It's benefits are that its extremely close to the Choryang station and a 10 minute walk from Busan Station. But its negatives, the owner may be nice but his english is non existent so bring a translator. the room...hmm wifi has poor reach in some areas, the room is outdated looks like its not been updated in 20 years. the bed is too uncomfortable, please buy new pillows!!!!! Add some shampoo and shower gel too. Conclusion if you just need it as a pit stop so you can see Busan its a good place, perfect positioning and can be bearable if you spend the the minimum time in there,
Hide in quiet row, no signboard. I miss a few times walk pass. Whole place run down. The bed look very ugly, dirty an old grandma model bed. Light very dim in and out.
Location is good but...”
The room was okay but it was not like what i expected it to be. They gave a bottle of mineral water each. The old lady and uncle treat us well when we first got there. The old lady even picked us up at the subway station. However, along the way to go to our room is pretty scary. It was dark at each level.
Its nasty, small, noisy, and sketchy. Avoid.
we booked for Korean Ondol room but were given a room with small round bed. there was an inappropriate poster in the room. other than the great wifi and the lady trying to be nice, please get better hotels near Busan Station.
run by a family woman and everywhere is dark and all the doors can be opened with a common key.
Not worth the money”
Inappropriate posters on the wall of the hotel room. Hotel and room are old, filthy and do not look like the pictures at all.
Just normal, was just there for a night.”
The manager tried to rip me off. I had to come late and register late. He said the rooms were full. Agoda showed 2 left, and gave no indication of a problem in my email either when I registered, or afterwards. I am pretty sure he thought I was a rich foreigner and wanted me to pay more just because he thought I had money. I thankfully got in. Be aware of the manager. I wouldn't recommend you stay here just because of his tactics on me to deny me something I rightfully paid for.
near metro subway”
the room is not so clean, but we can accept that because it's an old building. but the hotel lady is nice gave us a bottle of water. and the hotel location also good near the metro subway station.
It takes ten minutes from Busan Station by foot and is good. This hotel is located on the street which is a little way off the main street, and is a bit difficult to find. Though, it's close to subway stati"on "Choryang". The staff is very kind and show me the way to the station. The bad point is room. The refrigerator and bed smells too bad and hot water in the shower comes out a little.
This is the dirtiest hotel I have been in, although the 2 owners were nice this did not make up for the rooms-They smelled strongly of smoke and other mysterious odors, bathroom was grimy and water pressure terrible, had serious difficulty washing my hair! Rooms are also dark. We did not eat here so we cannot comment. Round the corner from a metro stop. We are budget travellers and go for the cheaper option usually but this was the worst value for money we experienced in Korea.
IN & OUT -- stay only at a minimum time possible”
I wasn't expecting much, knowing that the motel is low cost. I chose this motel because it was my last day in Busan & I wanted a private room with toilet&bath. I find it however comparatively "seedy" to other similarly priced lodging in the city: dark hallways, a motley of sheets safety-pinned to the mattress, a "broken" (hole) in the flooring covered by a rug, toilet seat with some stains (I had to wipe it myself!), used soap left at the bathroom, & they lit a mosquito coil in an air-conditioned room tsk! tsk! tsk!
Good value for travellers with tight budgets”
Pleasant stay with helpful old motel owners; most restaurants, however, close by 9 p.m. Train station is about 10 mins walk. Taxis are readily available. Conveniece stores are generally open until late at night.
very close to the station, ”
if you use this hotel only for sleep, its ok. the station is very close, our room's toillet didnt work, so we went to the station to use toillet. but the old woman, the staff of this hotel was very kind person, so we didn't regret to chose this hotel.
Truly awful; not habitable”
This place is truly awful. I stayed before there were any reviews (huge mistake!), but it appears some other have had a more positive experience than me. The woman downstairs seemed like a nice enough person, so I don't wish to say bad things about her, but the room was really not okay. There was dried piss and a pubic hair on the toilet seat. The hand-towel-sized towel she gave us was inadequate for drying off after a shower. The bed seemed like it had been slept in for months and never been cleaned; there were strands of hair and discoloration on the blanket. I was transporting some wine, which was to be a gift for a coworker, and my brother and I were skeezed out enough that we took off the bubble wrap and slept on that for the night.
service with heart”
i stayed 2 nights here. And wondering the owner so helpful and polite. They had served me very best. FYI, warm/hot water any timing (5 - 9.30 am) but begrateful they gave me extra timing. And also gave me breakfast for free. again, this hotel is near by Metro/MRT so easy to find. Bout 30 minutes from Gimhae Itl airport by Metro. also near by tourism spot (Jalgaji Market the Largest Seafood Market in the WORLD).
Old hotel...needs upgrading”
TV is an old analog TV with a set top box....the picture is very poor. Security is poor...the front door is left open all night while the reception is not attended. The corridors are dark at night...bad lighting....I mistakenly put my key in the lock of another guest's room and the door opened....very embarrassing....I wonder how many keys fit the lock on my room. The reception area is cluttered with the owner's property including a bicycle and two kittens with their food bowls....they floor had a wet patch? There was no hot water. The hotel is hard to find...I asked a number of people for help to locate the address (written in engligh)....eventually a lady used her mobile to phone the hotel and then gave me accurate directions. The name of the hotel and other businesses in the street are all written in Korean (no english).
Great Location and Great Place”
It was a very strategic place to stay. it is near the train station, food and entertainment, Not forgetting that it is also near the tourist information venue. The room, on the other hand, is small and only provide basic facilities. However, the owner is nice to us as it is a family run business.
