One of our favourites ”
I've used this hotel as a stopover since 1998. It's always been clean and reliable in terms of amenities and service. The rooms are well appointed, a good size and the beds are very comfortable. I'd say though it's about time the management considers doing some external renovations to the grounds, as the property is beginning to look a little tired from the outside .
Big opportunity for improvement”
In this current climate it is more important than ever to meet the customers needs providing it is a reasonable request. Indicating to a valuable customer that a late checkout is not available when the hotel is at less than 10% of occupancy is poor management. Can I recommend that a focus be placed on providing training to the service team to focus on trying to meet the customers needs where possible. This can be a cost effective exercise by encouraging team members to always try their very best. Investing time in your team to develop professionally and staying focused on the needs of the business will ensure the business continuously improves. I am not dissapointed that I in this case was the customer/guest but more so dissapointed that now when all my friends, family, work colleagues, customers of my own business, everyone at the sports club where I am a valued member, the members of the board for which chair and all the frequent overseas visitors who are always asking for recommendations on places to visit, I must reply by saying the Karratha International is a great place to stay and the facilities are excellent at a reasonable price but I believe there is an opportunity for improvement with respect to placing a greater emphasis on the needs of the customer. I live in west Perth and always read reviews from people commenting on holidays, restaurant experiences etc and the one thing almost everyone comments on being very important is customer service. I trust you will find this as valuable feedback and use this as an opportunity for improvement in the area of customer service. Take good care A valuable customer

Staff are already aware as a formal complaint ”
A formal complaint has already been lodged regarding the duty manager on the night .. The rest of the staff are wonderfull but the duty manger that's was on night in question lets the whole place down
Breakfast Over priced”
I find the cost for the room and the quality of the food not acceptable
The business stay in Karratha was made pleasant with the friendliness of the staff and the great pool area.(perfect for those hot evenings after meetings)
Neat and clean, looks tired”
Stay was fine, room clean and tidy, hotel was tired, needs an upgrade. Very expensive (even with Agoda) for a basic room. Pool area was good, however bar was not open til later despite being advertised otherwise. It was very quiet in terms of guest numbers, however despite our whole block being free they put another family right next to us so it was not peaceful in the room. Could have seperated us by one room. Has the potential to be a very nice place and for one night it was fine, but needs a revamp and recommend room price should be less than $200 a night (not $450-$600 as was advertised).
Comfortable stay in karratha”
The hotel was very comfortable and nicely equipped with all hotel equipment. When you are staying in the room it feels like holiday, it is quiet, clean and spacious room. the pool outside is also nice and the dinner at the restaurant is quick and tasty.
