Saya pesan tempat ini selama liburan akhir tahun saat harga2 penginapan di Yogya sudah selangit. Tempatnya sangat strategis dan pilihan kamar yaitu family room adalah pilihan tepat. Saya mendapatkan teras, 2 tempat tidur berukuran queen dan 1 king, serta menghadap taman. Tempat dekat dengan para penjual gudeg Wijilan dan kalau anda suka berjalan, bisa menikmati suasana malam di sekitar Maliobo dan alun2 dengan hanya berjalan kaki. Di samping guest house ada warung nasi angkringan dan tidak jauh dari guest house kurang lebih 200 m juga ada angkringan Harjo 2 dan anda bisa menikmati beragam makanan yang dijual di sana. Staf, ibu dan bapak yang mengurus tempat itu sangat cekatan dan ramah selama melayani kami, juga dengan tukang kebun. Rasanya tidak menginap di hotel tetapi rumah keluarga. Saya pasti akan kembali ke tempat ini bila berkunjung ke Yogya lagi. Terimakasih Ndalem Gamelan. O ya, di tempat ini anda akan melihat banyak barang2 antik yang dipajang.

Hotel is in a beautiful classic Javanese building with a wonderful owner and great breakfasts. It's not a resort but it's nice historic building with wonderful hospitality.

We had an EXCELLENT stay at Ndalem Gamelan! Ibu is the best as well as the other staff! The cozy ambiance, clean room, excellent breakfast and other food requests! ALL SUPERB!

Such an awesome place. It’s like going back 50+ years. The furnishings and art are beautiful. The morning breakfast was some of the best food we have had in our six weeks here. The covered front veranda is so comfortable. A pot of excellent coffee and comfortable chairs make a great way to start the day. Grab is readily available. The one improvement opportunity is of course WiFi These days the systems are available to fix the weak current system. Highly recommended.

We found this spot just browsing Agoda, and I'm so glad we did. First of all, the woman who runs it is a saint. The free breakfast you get isn't the usual toast and fruit. She made us gado gado and it was better than the stall down the road, which isn't usually the case. She's also attentive to special diets and accommodated my vegan burden. Secondly, the room we had was great! The bed was very comfortable, the shower was always warm, and it was always stocked with bottles of water. The location of this spot is a bit more local than a hostel on Malioboro, so it was difficult for people to find at times, but you get a great experience walking around the neighborhood. This was our first visit to Jogya and it won't be our last. We'll definitely stay here again!

The staff is very attentive, friendly and really helpful in indicating good spots to eat nearby. We were greeted with fresh coffee when we arrived and she got up at 5 in the morning to make us coffee and breakfast before we left for the airport. The hospitality was superb and we would definitely stay here again.

this is my 4th visit to Yogyakarta but my stime staying in ndalem gamelan. its like staying at a friends house. all is calm and peaceful. i m totally in love with its interior. very classic, beautifully preserved javanese elements. the place is very clean. i just got back and i cant wait to visit ndalem gamelan again. Maria and Diana are such darlings, ever so helpful.

Strategic location, in the city centre, within the keraton vicinity – close encounter to the traditional Javanese architecture, way of living, culinary and festivities.

Quiet rustic B&B”

Lovely little place, very rustic. Great wide, tiled terrace facing the garden which was a nice place to hang out and have tea and snacks when it was too rainy to go sightseeing. The staff were really attentive and quite accommodating. Easily walkable/ tuk-tuk-able to quite a few local attractions.

No complaints about this place. Our room was cleaned everyday. Food was really really good, and it was according to what we liked plus more! They helped us with tours and getting around. Surely, we will stay here if we come back. Thank you so much for taking care of us!!!
