My stay at Maafushi”

They clean our room everyday, and changed towel. Their staffs are friendly and helpful. They even waited for us at the jetty when we arrived, as I did not confirm with them arrival time. I booked this guest house because the picture of the nice roof top, but unfortunately the roof top is not well maintained when we arrived. But you still can go up there, to watch sunset view. As I booked together with breakfast and dinner, they actually offered limited options for the meal. Breakfast is served buffet.

Sangat baik”

It was clean and quiet. We had a good stay here. We used a package included stand up paddling for half an hour, jeyskee for 15 mins, Para sailing for 15 mins and fun tube for 15 mins. It was 150$ for 2 people. Considering the prices in other sport institutes I think it was a good option of course based on duration of sport. The price may vary and but I really enjoyed that and I reccon it was enough for us. I would rather to be nearer to the bikini beach but it was a short walk to there. They had a really good breakfast buffet. Nice omelet.

Wonderful stay”

To muhammad/asha and the rest of the team, thank you very much for a wonderful stay. This was a celebration of mother's day... and i'm glad my mom had a great time. Maldives is beautiful and the people are generally kind.

Great value ”

The staff were extremely hospitable. Someone came to pick me up upon arrival at the jetty, i forgot my toiletries but they lent me some. The room was spacious, one queen and one single bed - all for me! :) AC was cold, room and toilet were clean. The place is about a 7-minute walk from bikini beach which wasnt that bad. They provide free breakfast which was pretty good.

very nice!!! will come back again very soon! the staff were accomodating and helpful and the room is very clean and they serve the cheapest food in maafushi and its quite good! we really enjoyed our stay here :)

The hotel staff is always smiling, no matter day or night. Very good service! Hotel room looks new & it is the first hotel that I booked that has a room nicer in reality than in the pics. Dinner is nice

Explanations exceeded”

This is a lovely guest house with excellent host and hospitality. We had complementary upgrade to bigger room with balcony. They even let us stay longer in room since we had late night flight. Excellent value for the money. Breakfast is continental, room clean, bathroom facilities excellent. Beach towels clean every day.

Good Place In Maafushi When You Travel on Budget”

2 Min walk from Ferry Jetty & Nice clam surrounding. when entering to the Ocean Vista it was look like abandon but when Entering to the room it was big , super clean , Nice bed , A/C , Cable TV & Hot water.You can here sound of sea in mid night like music , very nice. Staff Good & Help full . Foods are nice .10 Min walk to Bikini Beach , Nice & Beautiful beach side in Maafushi.

Very good hotel”

Pros: Very nice reception staff. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is average. Tours offered were really good including gopro pictures and videos. Manager Mohamed was really nice and approachable. Average spacious room. Beach towels were provided. Cons: bathroom toilet seat lid was broken. A bit smelly bathrooms. No hand towels, handwash soap provided. Shower gels were not topped up everyday. Some of the restaurant staff were rude. Did not bother to say sorry if not being able to help. Extra GST and Service charge on already pricey water bottles ( just out of the fridge-not even poured in the glasses)

Delicious breakfast”

They are friendly. They provide breakfast from 7:30 and I didn't have time to eat at that time although they gave us a box to take away. And my furry for the airport was 5pm. They allowed us to use the room until then. It is really kind. Only things I was worried was I couldn't get any information from them before we arrive. So I did research myself. Be careful that Friday doesn't have public ferry for Mafuushi. But you can still ride a speed boat from the airport or Male. But not many fixed schedule. And it costs $25 / per.

Friendly staff”

Staffs very friendly and helpful. Guest house location is good, although not very near to pier or private beach but maafushi not big, all places are walk distances. Room very clean but sometimes have small cockroaches when there's food inside room. Breakfast and dinner buffet very tastely too! Overall very satisfy for my stay on this guesthouse, would stay here again for my next visit to maafushi

Pleasant stay at Ocean Vista”

I had a nice short stay at Ocean Vista Guesthouse. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is very close to the pier and the bikini beach is just a short walk away. The only downside was the mosquito/bed bugs bites I woke up with the next morning:(

Even we stayed at Ocean Vista only for 3 days, but we really enjoyed our holiday here at Maafushi. Especially the kindness and hospitality from their staff. Definitely will come and stay here again someday.

Acceptable but can improve”

It was fine, the staff was cooperative. They can improve following 1. There is noise in the room adjacent to the kitchen in the morning when the staff prepares breakfast. If you want to wake up late in the morning, this room is not for you. 2. The comforters are not clean. 3. The breakfast timings are not displayed. One staff said the timings are till 11 in the morning while the other staff (who actually also served us) said it was till 10. 4. The food was acceptable. Probably because they have 2 people who are cook, cleaner etc.. If you want to try some good local food, there is restaurant in the same lane. Must try item is maldivian breakfast. Also for spicy food lovers, there is a cafe at the end of the Island, hot bites..if i recall the name correctly. 5. the tour operator did not have full and up to date info about the resorts charges. people should do their own research on the island. there are many operators.

Great value in Maafushi”

my girlfriend and I had a great time at Ocean Vista Guesthouse in Maafushi. The staff were kind and happy to help us with anything that we needed. The room was clean, comfortable and all the amenities worked well. We would definitely return!
