great place and staff are efficient”
we can just swim at the beach till 7pm, the reason why we do overnight stay is because we want to enjoy the beach at night. the resto also closes at 9:30pm. check in guest are not allowed to bring food so we rely on room service however it closes early.
Everything is ok , only one thing I don’t like about this resort , you can bring food inside even fruits or junk food , it’s really crazy , everywhere in Philippine you can eat and bring junk food by your Owen ,
Everything was awesome! Everyone was very helpful and friendly and my family loved it all!
Nice & clean place. Much better if they have pool.”
Nice & clean place. Much better if they have pool.
excellent resort-would get higher rating if not for “security “ check.”
We really enjoyed this resort except for the search of our bags on arrival in the name of security. They were actually looking for food and took all our coffee, chocolate and bread. This put me right off the place at first as there was no prior notice of this rule when booking. After 5 days they returned our stuff - the bread was green and black.
well maintained cleanliness, fresh and delicious food, very entertaining night events”
I love that the cottages are spotless clean, the food is superb, i just wish for some extra pleasant people on the fronline eg. people from the back gate , the parking area , and the people who counts the guest and the bag inspectors. other than them, the rest are polite enough.
nice location to party”
The Paradise Island is a good location if you intend to celebrate a big nice party, a celebration with friends or a feast or something like that. The Premier Bungalow (we stay @ #2) is nice and spacious but the beach isn't really nice or special. For a short stay to celebrate something the place is nice and good located but for a longer stay (like 5 or more days) i would recommend other places in or around Davao.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. We are satisfied. Some of the notables are: Good: -Hotel is well maintained. There are adequate staff to maintain the cleanliness of the place. -Amenities are great and more than complete. -Thoughtful add ons on the hotel Not so good: -A bit pricey, specially the food -A bit strict, you can only swim up to 7pm, you can't bring alcohol or food in your room or even the veranda of your villa, etc -Most staff are very kind and polite but not all
In search of a peaceful haven...”
We were delighted to be finally going to Paradise Island resort after hearing so many favourable reports from my sister-in-law who has lived in Davao for many years. We certainly weren't disappointed - the island-style trio band to greet us; a very friendly welcome at the front desk; great food and a large, clean, relaxed feeling room to sleep in. The tropical waters were tantalising and the sea-life and coral surprisingly good once past the barriers set to protect the beaches. We were delighted by acrobatic/circus shows, fire-dancing and a competent band. Outings to "Bat-caves" and nearby waterfall were enjoyable. Our only negative comments would be that the persistence of the excessively loud band during both lunch and dinner every day with the same repertoire got a bit overpowering - would have preferred more quiet times to relax (most people bring their own musical preferences with them these days) and the old fashioned in-wall a/c unit in our room proved too noisy to use all night
I have no complaints. Everything was better than I expected. Will return here again. Loved everythin”
Well I came from staying at water front hotel. Which was mostly good. Took a boat ride off there dock stright to paradise island park and resort. I paid 4.00 us one way for both me and a friend. When we pulled up to the dock I was surprised on how clean everything was. We went through a security check. They pointed us to the direction for admittance. There were staff there to carry your bags they made it very easy to check in a help you to your room. Everything was so clean. We ate and did some swimming. Watch a live band and fire show while having dinner. Oh I almost forgot when we first arrived at paradise island resort there was a circus like act going on that was very entertaining and funny, it was fun and great to watch. That night we planned out our next few days. It involvedoesn't island hopin on a private speed boat. Island touring both water falls and even looking at that Guinness World Book record bat cave that is on samal Island. Wow... a must see. Careful the smell
Nice resort but”
I did not like that it was difficult to leave the resort to do activities on your own. They did have nice rooms and the food was quite good and reasonably priced. Service a bit slow but I can deal with that. The beach was just ok on my opinion.
It was okey”
The hotel lobby looks nice and as well as tge buffet area. they have a nice garden nearby their cafe and buffet area. pool area needs improvement and rooms. it was a bit weird that it was "not allowed" for us to have iron for clothes inside the room. when i asked if i can send my clothes for their ironing service for 3 clothes, they said only 30 pcs is allowed. soooo 😑. however, the most outstanding staff was the one's in the breakfast buffet. He saw that I was carrying a pack of panadol tablets and asked me if i was sick. i did not bother asking for any adhoc drinks since i was fine with the coffee and water. But later on he offered me a hot calamansi juice :) so attentive and has attention to details. Good service. sayang lang at i forgot his name.
In all, our stay there was very satisfactory. The food, the place, the cleanliness of the room, the housekeeping was always prompt, and the staff were always courteous and accommodating. Plus, the nightly entertainment was a bonus for those who wanted a bit of music and entertainment during the evenings.
Hotel caters more for day trippers at P200 locals can bring all the food and water they wish and access full resort and facilities. In contrast as Hotel guest you pay P4,000 and armed guards confiscate bottle water and packet of crisps upon entry as you are the told (not on their Agoda page) cannot bring any outside food, despite locals being allowed to do so, Also cannot have alcohol in the rooms. Staff are pretty good, rooms are very good. To leave the grounds you are interrogated and discouraged by armed guards. To be honest I felt it was more like a prison. Would definitely not return.
All was accommodated with them, boat to their hotel, room, activities and attraction. A very family friendly hotel. Rooms was very spacious and facilities were very practical and convenient. We were not able to avail their water activities but land tours were smooth sailing. Food a bit pricey but delish! Entertainment was amazing! Will definitely go back here. :)
Modern clean tidy and spacious rooms so top notch there. Room could have had a kettle in it and basic tea and coffee. Maybe a few more western meals on the menu or even pitza. Thinking the only thing that this resort really needs is a pool it has a beach however for the overnight guests I do think a pool is required. This property is butflfuly looked after and is so clean . Also the entertainment when we stayed. band and fire dancers where seriously very good. Thanks so much guys. I wasn’t really 100% How paradise island resort would be however all six of use had a excellent stay. Just a mention again 100% to all the staff.
First thing I noticed about this place was how clean and well kept the resort was. This resort is ideal for family, groups, and people who just want to enjoy the white sand beach without going too far. It's easily accessible and has its own port. There are a lot of activities for kids including games, billiards, chess. At night there's a live band and fire dance which was very entertaining. The only negative part is the maximum people they will allow in 1 room is 3 so with a group of 4 they'll force you to get a second room.
So Relaxing ”
Every bit of this Holiday is very good every money we spend was worth it . We enjoy the Clean Beach and Its Garden surrounding . I cant wait to go back to it . There is music, firedance . Amazing Time It so Clean everything is So clean
Customer service is truly great! i will sure come back!
Nice place to relax for a day
