It was great. We stayed there on our honeymoon. They have great view to the sea and waterfall. We were also visited sendang gile waterfall which is very beautiful and natural. We ordered some food from the hotel and the taste is good. The only thing that missing was my phone signal, but since we were on our honeymoon so 'no problemo' at all

Too many monkeys and not enough electricity”

Room black out and caused darkness for entire place. Too many monkeys in surrounding that unable us yo share food outside The toilet is using rocks and stones to be flooring which is too risky.

Beautiful setting and stunning views of Rinjani”

Overall, very good. The rooms were basic, but very clean. The views of Rinjani are stunning - a great location to stay before trekking Rinjani. The food was okay, but not great, and the wifi was very slow. The staff could have provided better directions to the official trekking center, rather than offer one of their preferred vendors, but they were very friendly and always available to help.

Peaceful and serene place to relax and great view”

A lovely and relaxing 2 nights. Restaurant had a large variety of dishes and good quality. Situated in a high location so had great views of mt rinjani and waterfalls and ocean. Nice cool breeze. Rooms were cute cottages. Nice gardens between rooms. Very friendly staff. Would only need 1 or 2 nights here so can go to tje waterfalls. Not much else nearby unless want to trek rinjani. If want to go to senaru, this is the place to stay!

Comfort Hotel and Value for Money”

What I like most of Pondok Senaru is its splendid view facing the rice paddy and Bali Strait from the cafe. On the other side you can enjoy the view of Sindang Gile waterfall from the same location. The room itself is very simple but clean, but you can not find the scenic view like this at the other hotel in Lombok. If you're interested to explore the Sindang Gile waterfall you just need to go out from the hotel parking lot and turn to left, you will find the entry gate of the waterfall.

Beautiful Location right on the mountainside”

The views from the Hotel are amazing! Sitting in the restaurant you can see the amazing waterfall cascading down the mountain. It is only a short walk from the hotel to the waterfall but you need to walk on further to see the second waterfall as it is more spectacular. The hotel rooms inside are not that nice - but clean enough and worth staying in for the location and views. Food at restaurant is ok too.

Poor standard of care”

Service was terrible. The place was run by inexperienced/untrained juniors with no experienced adult supervision. Feral village dogs roamed the place like they owned it. Some, including one that had a fly-blown open wound had the habit of sleeping on the tables where we ate. We had to ask staff to clean the table we ate at !!

great value for what was needed, easy to arrange things from here as seneru is small. if you do any laundry ask for it not to be ironed. my clothes were ironed and they were not suitable for ironing... a hole was burned through

Great location”

This hotel is located almost directly to the tourist waterfalls, which are beautiful despite all the rubbish and unnecessary vendors. This hotel also seems to be definitely one of the nicer hotels in the area with great mountains views and a good price.

Fantastic Location high on the hill”

The hotel is perched on the hillside leading up to Mt Rinjani and has some plain but comfortable enough rooms without a/c but with hot water which you need because the water is icy. The rooms are not that clean with ;loads of flies but the garden is nice and the view from the room window is great.

Not trustworthy personnel”

This hotel has a beautiful location, gorgeous view and a great starting point for walks to 2 nearby waterfalls and the volcano. But it is also a bit far away from anything else so you are highly dependent on the goodwill of the staff of the hotel. I will try to be brief what my girlfriend and I experienced. - When we arrived at the hotel with the confirmation of our booking they told us the standard rooms were full and that we needed to pay almost twice the price for the luxurious room. We refused, had an argument, and after 20 minutes we did not have to pay extra for this better room. - When we wanted to leave they told us they could not call a taxi for us (no credit on their mobile phones). There were only private cars in front of the hotel. I had a number of the taxi corporation and I said I expected that a hotel can call a taxi for its guests (my own mobile phone had no network). They finally agreed and they ordered a taxi for us. After more than 1 hour waiting I asked where the taxi was and they told us it was not coming. Once again we were told we could only take the private cars. - These private cars are managed by a manager who will ask around 250.000 Rupiah to Bangsal harbor which takes +/- 1 hour. The driver will get 100.000 Rupiah, the rest is for the manager. When I told him I knew the price was far to high he told me he could not make a good price because we did not book a tour at the hotel. - Last surprise was on the bill which included beers that we had not ordered (beers are almost the same price as a meal). Bottom line we needed to bargain for everything. We really disliked almost all the staff in this hotel and the driver that took as back to Bangsal confirmed that this hotel was full of “mafia”. Don't go there. It is a very frustrating place.

The food and the service was good, the gardens very nice and with an incredible views. The room simple but comfortable.

- room: all the basics; linens are not very clean (might have bugs as we got some nasty rashes after); shower heater fluctuates - food: a lot of food in the menu are not available; gado-gado special is quite alright - staff: friendly and very helpful staff

Good if you are accessing Rinjani ”

After a long ride from Senggigi it was great. To arrive to a lovely setting. We had to wait for our rooms but we were a little early. Once at the room we thought it was very relaxing but when I sat on the bed it was rock hard so I was no t looking forward to the night sleep which was uncomfortable. The shower/toilet ares was large but the shower didn't work and I had to use the portable shower handle that also doubles as the cleaning outlet. We were booked in for two days but stayed only one.

We had a bad surprise upon arrival because the hotel did not leave a room for us, inspite of our booking via Agoda weeks ago. They were trying to get out of Agoda's network. However, the hotel staff prepared a temporary sleeping place for us in their office.
