The place is clean, mosquito net over the bed, but the straw roof doesn’t keep out the noise from the road (and you can also hear the people in the room next door). But very conveniently located, with friendly staff who can help you arrange a trek up Gunung Rinjani. Good value for the money.

Two nights stay for the Rinjani Trek”
We stayed 2 nights to do the Rinjani Trek. Tours are offered, but we chose to do a one-day solo Hike. Wifi is bad but the breakfast is okay.

Luar biasa”
Great spot if you are going there to trek Mount Rinjani. Mr. Din will arrange everything for you. Place is comfortable but the restroom is made in a way that it is open to the outdoors so you will be susceptible to mosquito attack. The place has wifi but it is unusable, I just used my cell phone but I imagine anywhere in the area will be the same. There is a masseuse nearby that can come massage you with a very hiker oriented massage. Shop across the street for a few goods. They have a restaurant so meals are covered if you don't want to leave.

Fell like home”
I stay couple of night in Mr Din place. Really nice staff make you fell like home. The food is really good and fresh and the accomodation is confortable and clean for the price. I highly recommand to stay there before going to do the falls or the treck of mount rinjani. You can ask for madi, l did 3D/2N with him. It s a really good guide who care of me with his porter. He speak good english and know the place. It s defenetly my best memorie in indonesia.

Mr. Din is a really kind and easy going man who was open to helping answer questions about whatever we needed. Rooms are quite outdated/dirty/mouldy in spots - definitely needs a revamp. Bathroom doesnt have a sink, and our shower head came out in a dribble. Toilet paper was provided, however! Some creature seemed to be trying to burrow through the ceiling during our stay...and despite near ceiling openings potential use being for air flow, it was really only an opportunity for mosquitos to inhabit the room. Fan was super dusty. Stuffy/oppressive room. Wifi did not work at all, despite us being the only ones staying at the time. Spending a bit extra (elsewhere?) would perhaps be worth your while, especially if about to embark on a 3 day rinjani trek.

Amazing!!”
The family were so so nice and made us feel realy welcome and were very helpful, food was also great! Banana pancakes for breakfast = 10/10. Location was good, view from their restaurant was spectacular, only a 15 minute walk up hill to the waterfall too, plenty of little shops for snacks around too. Mr Din helped us plan our hike up Rinjani Crater and then kindly organised the other guy to take us to the start point and then pick us up 14 hours later, only for 20,000r!! I needed some laundry doing and they returned within 24 hours, clean and neatly folded. Overall great place, great family, great location, great food, Definatey recommend!!

Good price for a night stay. The place is a little dirty though. Room is a little stuffy as there is no air flow.

Awesome Staff”
We stayed here 1 night, to do the rinjani trekking from senaru to craterlake and back. so we had to get up at 4.30 am but we could still get our free breakfast... i felt really sorry to wake up the guys behind reception at 430am but he said its okay ! he also packed us a pizza to bring on the treck, which was super tasty... thanks for all... for those who want to get here cheap.. take beno to anyar from bansal and than scooter to senaru, only 50.000rp!!

Get a hostel nearer to the entrance of the waterfalls, so that you don't have to walk uphill to the entrance. Motorbike service is available for 10000IRP per trip but I don't think it is Insured.

Great spot for Rinjani crater trip”
Mr Din great value, knows his stuff and makes sure you are okay for trek. His guide Cowboy John is very good as well.
