Cool hotel, friendly service, and great breakfast”
Ideal Hotel was one of the coolest places I stayed on my trip. There are neon lights in each of the rooms. We had a really great balcony with a tiny little pond and a switch that controlled the radio. There is a rooftop, above-ground pool that overlooks some of the city which is really neat. The people working here are friendly as possible. They gave us a little decorative plate when we left as souvenir. And the breakfast is the best free breakfast I've had in Vietnam. A smattering of plates were brought to us and the omelets were great and (finally) not undercooked. The workers must realize that there is practically nothing to see in Hue so they'd better make the hotel memorable.

Friendly staff, great location”
we stayed at this hotel 5 days. hotel is located in the neighbourhood of tourist agencies and great restaurants. the staff is very frindly and helpful. every day we received frsh fruits and water. we visited citadel in hue and made some trips around the city: emperor tombs, dmz tour, two bicycle tours by our own. if you like to see the real life of vietnamese, the bicycle tour to the seaside is a must. you can book trips, rent bikes and cars at the hotel. we rented a car to hoi an and made a very nice trip with stops at elephant springs, marble mountains, and da nang cham museum.

Ideal hotel is a tall building with a rooftop pool that's quite small and in a bizarre place. The room was decent and the staff was nice. The lady at reception was incredibly kind. I enjoyed this hotel and would stay again in the future when in Hue

Central location, value for the money”
I stayed 1 night to do Hue sightseeing. It has central location, close to restaurants and bacpacker area. Big bright room with a nice balcony overlooking the city. The room had a little mould smell, but with AC on it wasn't so noticable. Breakfast was good, and stuff very friendly and helpful.

Good hotel, great location, nice roof top pool”
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms for the price adequate and clean and we even had a terrace! The location is great, because the night live happens around the corner and not in front of your room. The distances to the sights in Hue are not so large and anyhow use a tricycle. The hotel helped us find them and the prices were luckily given/agreed in advance by the staff. Since the sun was shining the drivers wanted double at the end! Overall, a very recommendable place.

we had a comfortable stay at hue hotel. it was a little bit dusty but we where upgraded to a room with city view. for the price we paid i think it is acceptable because the room has bathub safety box, 2 robes aircon and ref.

Fantastic room with funky colors.”
Taking the sleeper bus from Hanoi to Hue we arrived at the hotel tired and dirty. And instead of our windowless double we got a stunning Twin room with windows and a balcony with pond. The beds were great, clean and comfortable and the bathroom had hot water and a bathtub, what more can you ask for. As budget travelers we thought this room was heaven.

Great location, amazing staff”
The staff was warm and friendly! We got hugs when we left... Internet usage is free and connection speed is good. The bed is comfortable, but best part of the room is the very cool deck on the front rooms (I was 501) and the fountain/aquarium that's there. Nice place for sipping a beer and pondering Hue. Great place, great value. I would go there again!

Very nice location and everything is very good of this hotel. Strongly recommend to stay here. Good room service even I make the room mess. The staff is very nice, polite and helpful. You can join the location jour through the reception. But I am not very recommended to join the bus from Hue to Da Nang......

The place tries to be a western boutique hotel but whilst failing offers up probably some of the best accomodation in town per dollar, roof top pool... neon signs , large balconies overlooking hue and plasma screen tv's all give you a somewhat decadent yet trashy chic feel. staff supremely friendly and helpful and the place is immaculately clean ... get a big room on the top floor its worth the extra few dollars

The staff are superb”
The staff make this place such a nice visit. They gave us fresh fruit on arrival and a hot water bottle and free coffee each day we stayed. We also received a present when we left, which was a hotel plate to display. Also, they let us check out of our room very late in the afternoon, free of charge as our flight was not until night time. The food at breakfast was very delicious with a huge range to choose from. The location is ideal. The rooms are clean and our room had a large balcony to enjoy.

the hotel is located in the center of saigon (ho chi minh city). there is internet in every room. very rich breakfast. the room is nice and clean. be careful in resturants in the city from dishes without fix price. we ordered a fish and got 1.5 k.g one for 38 us dollars.

Located close to city attractions”
This hotel was close to old city attractions. It was clean and the staff friendly. The staff actually went out of their way to be helpful. Room was large and they gave us a free upgrade. Breakfasts were generous and delicious. I recommend this hotel; there is a lot of competition for accommodation and this hotel is trying very hard. I would recommend taking their day tours - it may cost a dollar or so more than other providers but the tour guide is informative and food good value.

the room was clean and spacious. We had a balcony. The vue on the city was so, so, but it was interesting to relax their. Employees were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was good buffet with a lot of stuffs. For the price it was a very,very good deal.

Central, cozy and peaceful hotel with obliging staff”
There's nothing wrong with this hotel really... the staff are polite and very helpful as well as patient with the various nonsense I asked them about from how to get the hot water heater (it's one of those old ones with the tank) to simple things like hot water. Their service was prompt... breakfast was but right without wastage that you see in some bigger star hotels... Hotel room was cozy and had a homely feel with a water feature on the balcony and two chairs alongside a table... pay a little more and that's a good sized room that feels like home... Centralized location near to the action of town but on a quiet street so the noise of the action doesn't filter in... Staff was also good with enforcing policy too on too sharing.. had a friend whom didn't believe me when I said no staying over after a warm drink at my balcony and when he asked they enforced the rule... which I most definitely appreciated. would definitely stay here again.
