Location is the best! ”
I had a memorable stay with Ifstays Light House. The location is so central. Basically, you can walk to Bourke street, QV Mall by foot within 10 mins. Both Winnie and Anna are very efficient and friendly. They took the patience to attend to my queries even before I arrived at the key collection place at Queen street. The key collection point was not far from the place where I stay. (less den 5 min walk) The only disappointment is the small flight of stairs upon entering the key collection point as it is quite difficult to carry up my heavy luggage and they only open at 9am. Hence, if you need to store your luggage earlier than 9 am, you may need to store your luggage at Southern Cross station as the only check in time is 2 pm. Nevertheless, the staffs were very kind to offer to help with my heavy and big luggages. They do provide me great information when I asked about the peak hour of the tram when returning to southern cross station. Room is spacious and clean. It could be better if there is a washing machine and a dryer for long stay guests (eg, more than 5 days stay so that we could do our laundry and buy more Australia fav goodies) Although, there is no washing machine, both Winnie and Annie did provide the nearest laundry shop which is located across the street of Queen Victoria Market. (Wash bar coin laundry - Highly recommended). Although some of the nights, I experience some weird door cracking sound inside the bedroom which is caused by the wind. The metal between the gap of the wall board would then bang with each other. It’s common situation depending on the windy level at nights. Hence, if you are a light sleeper, this could abit annoying. But, nevertheless, they do provide a cosy and comfortable bed! The pillows are soft but they do provide enough pillows if you are not comfortable with the soft ones. You will still fall asleep after getting used to the sound. Well overall, it is still a good and pleasant stay.

My room is located at floor 59 with stunning city view, the room is new and clean with full kitchenware, i love that the Ifsuite consider about the environment when using the full size shampoo and shower gel, there is no washing machine. Definitely love it prime location, the Asian supermarket is located next building, the Woolworth is nearby, Melbourne central and Qv shopping center 1' away, there are many choice of restaurant around. If you are travel alone with luggage, it is hard when you need to pick up and drop off the key from the office, as the distance is not far enough to call a cab and there is no luggage keeping at The light.

Great apartment in a fantastic location”
I stayed here for a week whilst doing an intensive at Melbourne Uni. Lighthouse is a fantastic location, close to the uni, public transport and loads of foodie spots! The staff at IFSTAYS were also amazing and very helpful. The only negative for me was that the room smelled quite badly of cigarette smoke when I first checked in (which should really have been addressed with before I arrived). When I informed the staff it was dealt within a couple of hours and the rest of my stay was easy breathing :) I will most definitely be back as this apartment offered everything you need for a week or two away at a fraction of the cost of a lot of other places in Melbs.

This apartment i have already recommended to all my friends and family for stay when travelling to Melbourne. The place was very clean with stunning views , interior and spacious that sits in great location with only walking distance to emoprium shopping centre and other attractions. Yixi Wang was very lovley and friendly and made it very easy to get the keys , very good service. I look forward to staying again at the Light House Apartments. :)

My family and I have stayed for 9 nights at IFSuites Light House recently. The location is great. It's just a few minutes walk to Queen Victoria Market and Melbourne Central Station. There are many convenient stores and eateries around. The apartment is clean except for the kitchenware. It would be great if there is a daily housekeeping service. Overall we had a good stay.

Lovely apartment at a great location near Queen Victoria Market and Melbourne Central Station. The interior of the building and the apartment is superb. Anna and Winnie was very helpful and check in was a breeze! The necessities provided was clean and good, not those typical cheap brandless shampoo/body wash. Really enjoyed my stay there, will definitely stay there again when I'm in Melbourne! Thank you both for the lovely apartment!

pros: good location, 5 mins to melbourne central. free team 2 mins away, below the apartment there's convenience storea & many eateries. safe, clean & very spacious. it's a 1 bedroom apartment. toiletries & towels provided. cons: need to walk a 200m distance to get keys for check in(not the same place as the lobby) no pool/gym access. there's only 1 aircon in the entire apartment(living room) the days that we stayed in the suite, it was really cooling outside. not sure about hot summer days if the apartment will be cold with just 1 unit. overall it was a good stay! responsive in emails & place was really value for money

Breathtaking views are the highlight”
We had four couples in our party and rented two two-bedroom apartments for our stay which they were able to allocate on the same (56th) floor. The views from these apartments were brilliant with the only shortcoming being only one bathroom in each apartment. The location is within walking distance of Melbourne Central Train Station and the free circular tram which made commuting very easy. The shopping precinct is also closeby and an easy walk. There are plenty of food options around and a few pubs and bars. Would definitely stay again if there was not a need to two bathrooms.

When we first booked this apartment, there was no review at all and turned out this to be new property to be listed on Agoda. We were quite worried that this property would be a scam but we tried our luck anyway. But afraid not, staying in this property was awesome! I love how clean, comfortable, and lovely the property is. We were even able to enjoy sunset from the property overlooked the Melbourne city. It was amazing. Truly recommended!

The two weeks of stay at IFSTAYS - Lighthouse was a really nice experience. The apartment was nice spacious and clean, and all the request were well fulfilled with a very reasonable price. If I were to mention a downside, it would be more convenient to have collected and returned the keys at the place as I was taking a lot of luggages, but that didn't affect the quality of their services for accommodation. Would recommend for others!

The WOW factor!”
My apartment was on the 59th floor with full length windows so the WOW effect when I first opened the door was amazing. I slept with the blinds opened, awakened with a spectacular sunrise over Melbourne. Amenities and features were all of a good standard, nice room, compact but everything you need. Would definitely stay here again. Check in was seamless visiting the convenience store across the street.

The apartment we stayed in was modern and quite spacious for a one bedroom. It has a great view of the city and it was on the top floor (level 56 or 58?). They kept the place quite clean with complete amenities. Cutleries and cooking equipment etc. We loved that they have netflix too. Location is perfect distance from Melbourne Central and QV. The only thing I would suggest for improvements is to change the pillows to fluffier hotel type ones and have 4 pillows in one bed instead of only 2. Will definitely come back to these guys whenever I'm back in town!

The place was so accessible, 5mins walk going to victoria market, many convenience stores and restaurants around the area and the area is included for a free tram which is so good. - room : the room is okay and big and not so expensive. Look for ANNA and WINNIE they are the staffs of IFSTAYS lighthouse and they will assist you in the duration of your stay and they are so accomodating , easy check in and and checkout. My Overall experienced was soooooo goood!!!!

Great location”
Location is superb - right in the middle of Melbourne CBD. You can go around the CBD using the free tram which is a 3 minute walk from the place. Queen Victoria Market is walking distance from the place (you'll see a lot of Asian restaurants while walking to Queen Victoria). The only problem we had with the place is that there was a problem with plumbing. The water back flowed in one of the cabinets (that was supposed to be for the washing machine I guess) and it gave out a foul smell.
