Staff is very helpful and friendly ”
I'd say one of the best budget hotel in Tokyo city, the room may be small (most of hotel room in Tokyo are small) but very clean, complete with basic necessities. Good locations, tons of convenient store and budget eateries, in between train station. The best thing, staff is very helpful, communicate well in English and friendly.
Doesnt have a Wi-fi service”
It was not that bad yet there was not anything impressive. The hotel doesn't provide the Wifi which should be included in the standard facilities these days. The room is quite dark but it doesn't cause any problem. They are well-managed with the luggage keeping service even on the day you already checked-out. So it's not a bad choice for an one-night stay because it's not that far from the train stations and it's easy to find something to eat, shop, or even an airport limisine in ikebukuro. There is also a triple room which is quite hard to find among 1-2 stars hotel in tokyo.
Value for money”
Pleasant stay. It was my second time with this hotel. The hotel was only 10 minutes walk from Ikebukuro Station. Many Convenient Stores nearby, so I didn't have problem to grab instant meals like Maki-sushi (Californian-Roll), Tendon or breads. I would stay at this hotel again for my next visit to Tokyo.
Cheap, close to subway, loop line”
Just fine. It's a bit shabby and worn, but quite clean. The old guys at the front desk were nice, offering a free bottle of chilled water to each guest. Paid TV card only had two porno channels; fine if that's your thing, but I felt like watching a movie. Several nearby convenience stores for snacks & beer.
You got what you pay. ”
I stay 3 days in this hotel during my trip to Japan. To summarize i think you got what you paid. It is very cheap no question about it. if you plan to stay there you must accept the fact that it always has cigarette smelt in the room. About the size it is small as usual hotel in Japan. The good thing about this hotel is location. It located near JR and Subway station. Very comfortable for people who plan to travel in Tokyo.
Location was within walking distance to Ikebukuro station. Surrounding have lots of convenient stores and also eating places plus main shopping area in Ikebukuro. Hence location is good! However, if you do not mind small & squeezy room size, this hotel is good to stay & value for money. We book triple bed room & not much space available for walk after placing our luggages. I guess majority of hotels inside Tokyo have this space limitation issue. Overall, not much complains, nice hotel to stay in.
Satisfied with the facilities & location”
Reception (middle age male) was not friendly, but became more polite when I talked in Japanese. Yes, the lighting should be better at the lobby, but the management claims they are supporting energy saving campaign. I really enjoyed sauna and ofuro (large bathtub) at the hotel roof-top.
good location-reasonable price”
If you want to explore the west side of Tokyo this is the place. It is easy to travel to Shinjuku, Shibuya and Harajuku. Ikebukuro is also the place for shopping and eating. The hotel is not too far from the station. Along the way to the hotel there are many shops and restaurants. If you do not want the luxury hotel at this price it is OK. The room is clean but smell cigarette in non smoking room.
small hotel room without wifi”
The hotel was huge but the room is quite small & without wifi service. The hotel signboard was block by others building, the management should install a small sign board at the road side. 5 min walking distance to Ikebukuro Station, IOIO, Big Camera. Near to shopping mall & a lot of restaurant .
dirty budget hotel but good location”
It was kinda expected as ive read many of bad reviews about this hotel. Dirty and dust everywhere in the room. But big bathroom with bathtub. I stayed there for 7 nighs.was hesitating to Change hotel 3 days before arriving, but due to traveling with old folks and children, we decided to stay back this hotel for the location. No wifi in the room, 500 yen for lan cable (deposit) but it didn't work at all. Didn't try the breakfas and also the sauna. Will not go back to this hotel anymore.
bad service, not clean and 2 stars is overated ”
hotel very bad, hotel look unpleasant , at the night time very noisy until early morning, certain staff don't know how to speak in English only have one staff can speak in fluent English ,some more the spa place look old and not clean. no more next time stay in this hotel. thank you
Convenient Location and facilities for the price”
I stayed one week in this hotel and was very satisfied. the room was quite larger than normal rooms in Japan and the amenities were nice as well. they have a public bath on the top floor and outside bath as well. there were no hassles in staying there as the place is located near the train station and many convenience stores and restaurants. also near a shopping district there is nothing you can not find in this area. I would stay again in this hotel next time i visit Japan.
The room is too small . factilities are not in good condition. Towel is dirty and bathroom also need to improve !Reception staff is not so nice and helpful. Spa also not so good !Only location and price is acceptable !
budget hotel ”
near ikebukuro jr station with very competitive room fee.there is a big spa on the roof of the hotel with no extra entrance fee. room is o.k., not too small. but with a bad smell of tobaco.highly recommend this hotel to budget concerned travellers.
very small room. No wifi. Quite old But very near to the ikebukuro JR. juz 5 mins walk. Walk through romance street and the side entrance of the hotel is juz opposite to the street. Hotel is Close to restaurant
Cosy room with great location”
It was very good. The customer service was good as well. Though the room is fairly small, it felt cozy. Every single day they make the effort to clean up the room. However, I didn't like the fact that we had to check out early at 10am. Otherwise, I was more than satisfied with my stay.
Everything was really really great”
I'm rather picky when it comes to selecting a place to stay. but, this place was very clean either for the hotel or the hostel. i stayed 1 night at the hotel and 4-5 days at the hostel and am very satisfied with everything. the bathroom, the toilet, the bedroom were all really clean. the location is not far from Ikebukuro station exit C6. if you're looking for a budget and nice hostel/hotel, i would say this is the place :)
Convenient, comfortable, relaxing, friendly”
The staff were amazing, it was centrally located and had free usage of the large share bath which had the most relaxing outside bath! Would stay again for Ikebukuro shopping and exploring Tokyo!
city near the great delight of going even nice service workers as well, going out to eat even close.
A good one”
