Excellent Location in Safe but Low-Income Area”

Shin-Imamiya, Shin-Sekai area are changing because of many tourists coming in through KIX. This hostel is at very convenient location to KIX via Nankai Line and major attraction in Osaka, Nara and Kyoto via Midosuji-Line and JR. Nishinari-ku has been the worst life-expectancy throughout Japan and you may witness lots of low-income people. According to extremely friendly and helpful staff members, they are old and safe even for young female staff. Because of that property pricing is very low and Ikidane was able to renovate a comfortable stay place at only 1200 JPY per night.

Nice hostel”

I really liked the place. It was clean, there are many showers, staff is super friendly, there’s a kitchen as well and supermarkets and train station are in walking distance. The area is one of the more interesting ones in Osaka in my opinion. I would stay here again.

Apart from the area being a little shady especially after dark and there was someone screaming outside in the middle of the night, everything was still perfect! The rooms are so warm especially during winter in late January and it was fun staying in one of the dormitory's cubes. I think the shower and powder room is shared by everyone but it's not a big problem since you can lock the shower rooms when you use one. The location is also pretty convenient as the closest subway station is Doubutsuen-mae, Tsukentaku Tower is just a subway stop away on the Sakaisuji Line and Namba/Dotonbori is 2 stops away by Midosuji Line.

This house was really nice, comfortable and not so far away from the Tengachaya station, which is nice when you want to go or return from the Kansai International Airport ! It's a little bit far away from the center but you can catch up easily with subway ! room and bathroom were clean, and it was peaceful ! Definitely recommend it !

Very Clean and Good Facilities”

at first the location can be confusing if you follow Google map but it is easier if you will just go straight along the highway then right when you see LAWSON. few more steps you'll find Ikadane, located on the right side. i forget the exit # from subway. **Shower Area/powder room - clean & spacious, thumbs up **Facilities - washer & dryer are big enough, sheaper compare to laundromat outside. ** common area - very spacious & clean **Staffs- fluent in English, very accomodating and helpful **elevator is a plus because of our big luggage. **Location - accessible **rooms - we stayed in private room - spacious enough for us. Double deck is very wide. i would recommend it to all traveller backpackers, couple or group.

Ok hostel with great WiFi”

Our group stayed in 3 different hostels during our trip. This hostel had the best WiFi but everything else was just alright. We had a private room, it was clean and comfortable. The shared toilets and shower were alright but can be cleaner (the other hostels were cleaner). Also the toilet seats are not heated, not complaining but having had heated and comfortable toilet seats with bidets in all the other hostels, we were kinda expecting it here too. It’s a modern hostel but located in a slightly dodgy neighbourhood, there would be ppl shouting in the middle of the night and so on. Lawson just around the corner. Drinking water isn’t provided, you’ll have to buy it from the front desk or buy your own. Common area is off limits when the front desk isn’t open (7am-11pm). It would be better if it was available 24/7 like the other hostels that we stayed in. Staffs spoke good English and were very friendly.

Best hostel I stayed at in Japan! Super clean, new and well equipped kitchen (olive oil, salt and pepper provided), capsules beautifully designed (each has window, vent, blinds), shower room is great, great atmosphere (very social), staff is very hospitable and relaxed. It is also in a very cheap area of town where you can find cheap food and booze easily. 100yen beer in vending machines out front. Book it now!

Near the Shinimamiyu Station and Staff are warm-hearted”

The staff here are very kind and warm-hearted. Their courtesy is up to standard. The Cost/Performance ratio to stay here is high. I was only one stay here for doing my academic paper but I really like this hostel. The toilet is clean and the shower room is decent. The bed is also nice. Thanks a lot for the staff although I don't know their names. Some Korean staff are working here and they are also very passionate.

Great place in Osaka”

staff are very nice and friendly, I felt like I was respected. Close to the rail station, about 5mins walk. The hostel is clean and tidy.You can check-in early in the morning if the bed is empty. Staff on duty pretty early which is good for traveller if you have something urgent to ask. I felt great during my stay and came back for 2nd night! Highly recommended.

Actually i dont find any mistake in this place, the staff was good, kind, and always smile , the room's very clean, from toilet, bathroom, and the bed, the place is near from subway station dobutsuen-mae , midosuji line, and nankai line , 10 out of 10

The staffs were really accomodating. They interacted and conversed with guests. They were talkative, in a good way, of course. You do not need to be good in English to build and maintain conversation. Keep it up!

wonderfil stay at this hostel, it's really clean, the staffs is so nice, and helpful, and because of one the staff I discover the mangas re:zero, a really good one ;), I'll come back here

I can't recommend this place enough. Staff was extremely friendly, made arrangements for me to arrive late, and the space was spotless and gorgeous.

Great value for your money, perfect for solo travel , quiet at night time but make sure to bring ear plugs just in case. I’ll be back here for sure.
