The stay was great. Booked a Japanese room and it was family sized. Had a lot of space and a view of the ocean. If I woke up early enough, would have been able to see the sun rise on the horizon. The hotel has a free shuttle to the train station Kawazu with reservation. Onsen was great as well!

Nice outdoor onsen. Our room is facing the morning sun and the beach. I think can see sunrise from the room. Room is big too.

Room is hugh, onset is great, staff is professional”
For this budget, no regrets. The room is hugh, 2min walk to train station. The onsen is great, you can hear the sea breeze and watch the stars. Their staffs can speak English. Free laundry, unfortunately no dryer, need to hang the clothes in the room. Highly recommend, will come again.

This place is a hidden treasure! The hotel is right on the beach and all rooms face the ocean so you have the beach to yourself, apart from a couple of surfers who know this secret location. The waves are quite good too. Facing the east and the pacific ocean, the sunrise is glorious, and with the sound of the waves while sleeping and meditating while looking over the pacific ocean, one can get peaceful rest here. The facilities are clean and staff very helpful, they kindly accepted our requests to take photos for us.

Avoid staying on the 7th Floor!”
There is the very strong smell of mold throughout the corridor of the 7th Floor. Also disappointing - I was assigned a room that had peeling wallpaper... it was not a recent incident that led to the peeling wallpaper. There was also unsightly water damage on the wall and ceiling adjacent to the toilet. Disappointed because this is not a Motel 6, but rather a 4 star luxury resort!

Great value, nice outdoor onsen, awesome beach”
Exceeded expectations. Despite being a bit old, it is well maintained. Outdoor onsen faces the ocean. The beach in front is amazing. Can watch sunset from the room. Only downside is there are no restaurants or convenience store nearby, but hotel does provide shuttle to kawazu station, so make sure to stock up on food there.

Very good location. Just in the front of the beach. Very nice staff. Beautiful hot spring with outdoor bath. Just walk distance from Imaihamakaigan station.

Beautiful beachfront onsen resort and SUPERB Staff”
We spent New Year's Eve and New Year's at this property and had a great time. Onsen was lovely and clean. Saw beautiful sunrises at the nearly private beach. Walkable to the charming Kawazu town nearby. Staff put together a superb NYE and NY program for the guests, and the special meals, while expensive, were classic and very sumptuous. A large and fun selection of yukata too! I would certainly recommend this property to stay for some R&R.
