The Imperial Fine Hotel is a gorgeous old hotel. My children (3, 8 and 10) loved poking about in the stately communal areas downstairs and swanned about watching big screen TV in the hotel robes in our double apartment upstairs. The shared balcony is spacious and a lovely spot to have breakfast or a cuppa. The kids used the pool and the 'do it yourself' breakfast was very generous, and even included 'real' coffee. Clothes washing facilities were not available but there is a laundromat nearby.

Expensive & Dirty with funny Smell??”

I love old hotels and stay in them wherever possible. Unfortunately this old hotel was dirty, everywhere and my room had a really strong weird smell. This was one of the most expensive rooms in Broken Hill if it was clean and pleasant it still would not be wirrh the rate. There are better rooms for less coin in Hotels overlooking the main street.
