Best Hotel in Vietnam! Excellent service+breakfast”
I can not fault the service at our stay at Imperial Hotel. The staff were extremely pleasant - as soon as you walk through the door, you will be impressed! Not only is the hotel new, it is clean whilst maintaining a sense of culture of the real Vietnam, best felt in Hue. The breakfast was amazing. My family like traditional Hue and Vietnamese food for breakfast, whereas I prefer scrambled eggs, natural yoghurt and bran - and we were all very impressed with the selection and variety of food. The wait staff were also very attention. Make sure to try the iced coffee with condensed milk - the best coffee I had in all of Vietnam (we went to Saigon, Da Nang and Hoi An too!). The rooms very clean, very spacious, beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a great size. I didn't find anything wrong with - except that wifi on the 9th floor on our corner room was not very strong. The location - its tucked away on a quiet street, however, you are only a few mins walk away from the hustle and bustle. It is great to be able to walk around and feel comfortable as soon as you leave the hotel. Note - Hue is one of the quieter cities so travellers should be aware that nearly all restaurants close by 10.00pm if not earlier - even on the weekend - so get in early!

We feel like king and queen”
If you wanna know how Hue castle likes, then you should try Imperial hotel. Just kidding, since I don't know how the castle was, but this hotel is amazing! It's decoration is the reason why I chose Imperial hotel. Wooden pillars, golden dragon elevators, beds, chairs, ... all is unique, royal and really Hue. It would be perfect with a 5-star hotel if there were jacuzzi and HD screen. The location is also good. We can see Perfume river from the window. The hotel is in the center of Hue city, and just take 5 mins to the citadel. You can walk or take a "xich lo". Breakfast buffet is good but should have more Hue's foods. Staff is friendly and beautiful in purple aodai. With me, Imperial is the only hotel should stay in Hue.

Luxurious hotel in great location.”
we had two nights here and while that was enough time to see around hue, we would have loved to have stayed much longer at the imperial hotel. the staff and service were excellent and the food amazing. we also got some great photo shots from the top of the hotel which can be accessed from the rooftop bar. it's is truly a five star hotel as the rooms are spacious and well serviced. we had a great view of the perfume river from our room which added to the great experience of staying there. did i say that the pool area is also very nice withy a gym adjacent and lots of big soft towels. i we are ever back in hue we will definitely be staying at the imperial as it's the best hotel we've ever stayed in and we've stayed in a lots all around the world. i can highly recommend it.

Perfect 5 Star Hotel in Hue - Vietnam”
We had our honeymoon over here. I told the receptionist that I planned to give a surprise to my wife and they what they do were first give us 2 sweet chocolate followed by a surprising honeymoon cake with FULL of ALMOND. Can you imagine how lovely is it with an additional of fresh rose and orchid as welcome gift. Condition of the room is very nice with its ancient interior design. I stay at 9th floor and the night view of the city is magnificent. Besides, the condition of the toilet is clean and look like new. I take my bath in the bathtub with complimentary fruits. There is a sky bath as well. Oh My god. For traveller who need to have a relaxation and enjoyable but not likely to spend much in accommodation, personally, I would strongly suggest Imperial Hotel when any of you in Hue. Last but not least, please check Agoda before walk in as they do not offer price as competitive as Agoda. I love you Agoda for the last minute deal.

A Wonderful Time”
everything went wrong my first day..first going to Hue I was changed to a 6 am flight.. I left a credit card in HCM, which understandably the hotel could not find at 4 am... my computer was broken... Early check in--not a problem, the Imperial staff contacted the HCM hotel and had the card sent to the Imperial at no charge. It arrived the next day as promised. Computer repairman was located and arrived at the hotel, repair $100,000 Vietnamese Dong (US $5)... I had a small Gioi guidebook that listed Hue's Number One Chef, the hotel contacted her and we had a wonderful boat dinner, prepared by one of her students and breakfast at a Bun Bo Hue stand and a coffee stand .. A wonderful staff member offered to show around on her moped..to local restaurants, a fabulous old wooden coffee house, and imparted her wisdom of the local culture.. With very nice rooms, a good breakfast, invaluable assistance... It was a wonderful experience

Great location and incredible decor”
The Imperial Hotel is an architectural master piece! From the grand lobby to the rooms, the restaurant and pool, it has one of the best fit outs I have come across. Some of the rooms have an uninterrupted views of the perfume river. The rooms where decent in size and kept immaculate and the hotel serves an awesome buffet brakfast. There is a large outdoor pool located on level 3 together with a generous seating area. On the top floor of the hotel is a large viewing deck affording great views of Hue. If you are looking for a place to stay in Hue you can't go wrong with the Imperial.

Spectular city view, very clean, friendly staff”
We were fortunate enough to get a room on the 15th floor. As the Imperial is the tallest building in Hue, we had a maagnificent view from our corner room of both the river and the city. There is a bar on the roof, 16th floor, which avails one with panaromic views of the city, especiaolly in the evening, and is a cool place to rest. Hue is the ancient capitol of Viet Nam and one should take in the palaces if possible. Shopping is very cheap across to the right in the grand mart, but a few blocks across the river from our hotel. The river walk is well maintained and also has many nice cafes.

Great hotel, centrally located and friendly staff”
We arrived after a long trip from Da Nang and were greeted with welcoming smiles, complimentary drinks. We were able to check in to our room early and after a restful time overlooking the city from our 9th floor room, were ready to head off to the Citidel, Pagoda of the Heavenly Lady and the Emporors tomb before dinner. The hotel staff assisted us with these arrangements and we felt we were being treated with great respect and not as unsuspecting tourists with money to burn. During our short time, the Imperial Hotel was our palace in the centre of Hue. Definitely the best value for money so far on our three trip to Vietnam.

affordable luxury”
We spent 3 nights at the Imperial Hotel in Hue. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff polite and helpful. They all speak English very well. The location is very central to the river and various restaurants, but a little off the backpacker strip, so is quieter than some other locations. The breakfast is worth lingering over, and the view from the panorama bar in the evening is lovely. However, you are better off skipping the hotel coffee and heading to any number of nearby coffee shops for local ca phe. Well recommended, especially at agoda prices.

Great family and Couples experience hotel”
After a terrible ordeal with our flight out of HCM to Hue, I contacted the staff about our check-in situation. They completely understood and symthpathized with us. Not only were the helpful they made me feel that my family that would be arriving early would be taken care of. Not only did the staff welcomed my family the arranged special flowers in my parents room on their arrival. But far, through our trip to VN Imperial Hotel has gone above and beyond what we ever expected. I will 100% refer my family and friends that this is the hotel to be at. Hotel was emasculate and exquisite. Staff was super attentive and helpful. Breakfast every morning was tasteful and fulfilling. Great for family and couples.

Decent hotel with good service”
We love the decor of the hotel, very imperial feeling. It is an old hotel but maintained very well. We love the employees in red Ao Dai at the front desks. They were very charming with the Hue accent. Our flight was at 7pm and we had a city tour at 8 am. We had to check out before 8 am but the hotel were willing to keep our luggages for us. We got back to the hotel around 4pm and were all wet (due to the rainy weather). We also found out that our flight was delayed further to 10 pm so we asked the hotel to get a room so we could change and we were willin to pay for it. The hotel charged us half day rate and quickly accomodated us to our room. Breakfast was buffet choice here and it was nice. There was a small casino here but we didn't really care for it. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. We would stay here again.

Best hotel stay in Vietnam”
After staying in 4 star hotels in Hanoi, I was truly impressed by what the Imperial Hotel had to offer. We got a fantastic rate on a junior executive suite via Agoda. This gave us two large and lovely rooms with river views on 3 sides-spectacular! Our package included a fruit bowl and floral bouquet on arrival, an especially nice touch since it was Valentine's Day. We enjoyed drinks at the rooftop bar with friends and the breakfast that was included in our room rate was a sumptuous international buffet. We loved our visit to Hue because the Imperial made us feel like VIPs!

Great location and nice views on rooftop”
The staff were very friendly, the hotel looks like it came out of the Vietnamese imperial city. The room decor was very "imperial" looking. Comfortable bed, beautiful view of the river. The pool was lovely, when my partner and I stayed here we used the pool each day. The best views of Hue and the river is at the top of the hotel at the rooftop bar. Spectacular. The location was great, walking distance from the shops and short taxi ride everywhere else. Great value for money.

Very Exclusive, Super location”
The Imperial Hotel is located at the Heart of Hue. Close to the city life, close to the river. Excellent position in a calm place. The hotel architecture is impressive. The staff are great... The hotel offers a city view from the top of it, both a bar and a restaurant. Highly recommended, while in Hue.

A grand, beautiful hotel”
First impressions of the Imperial Hotel are quite grand. The foyer is huge with beautifully carved columns and very large lotus lampshades. The service is excellent...drinks on arrival, smiling staff, nothing was too much trouble. All our needs were met. Our room was on the 11th floor with views of the wide Perfume River. We had a large bed, two chairs beside the window to look at the view and plenty of drawer and hanging space. The bathroom was nicely designed and adequate. The pool was refreshing. Hue has some fascinating history and you can see most of it in two days.

Literally a grand palace!”
We definitely felt like we were treated like royalty during our stay here! Our room looks like it was made for royals, with fancy antique wooden decor and an insanely gorgeous aerial view of the entire city (we also got free minibar items as special promotional offers, so be on the look out!). The whole hotel looks like a fitting palace for a king - best part is the open rooftop pool, be sure to check it out along with the sky lounge! Breakfast was fantastic, staff friendly and helpful. There's an in-house pub right downstairs if you want to grab a drink and don't want to venture far; there was surprisingly decent music when we went. Location is fantastic as well - right across from a really cute cafe (also recommended), central for walking purposes. Honestly cannot imagine a better place to stay in Hue! 5/5 Will return if I ever come back to Hue.

Unmatched River View and First-class Service”
Asside from the amazing views of the river and the Imperial city of Hue the large buffet breakfast offered a huge selection of Asian and Western delights. Whether it was the cooked to order eggs or pho the staff was pleasant and skilled. I wished they could have gotten me a morning paper on a more regular basis as I missed that but since I had free wifi it was not a major issue. Our river view room had all the amenities and was quite ample with large windows which could even be cracked open to enjoy the outside air as well as the views from two sides. The staff was service oriented and willing to help us with every request. The music in the downstairs lounge was really great and made a pleasant end of day each evening.

Amazing stay and great Agoda deal”
Our stay was wonderful! This is a pricey 5 star hotel and one of the best in Hue, however we were able to get an amazingly cheap deal from Agoda, and stayed there for less than a fifth of the original price. The hotel itself is just amazing and from the second you arrive you feel like a VIP. The rooms are large, clean and decorated with beautiful wood carvings, and have great views of the city and the river. However, as it is a five star hotel, food and drink there was expensive so we went to nearby restaurants and street food venders to eat.
