The location of this hotel is very closed to town, beside this matter, the hotel is perfectly fine.

value priced hotel on Hong Kong's Golden Mile”
I stayed at the Imperial Hotel for the first time this month while on a business trip to Hong Kong. It was a great value for the money. The location was excellent right on Nathan Road near the Tsim Sha Tsui subway stop. A couple of blocks walk to the Kowloon waterfront with great day and night time views of Hong Kong island skyline. Walking distance to the Star Ferry. There was no restaurant or breakfast room, but there are about 100 restaurants within 2 or three blocks. One nice plus was self-service laundry washer and dryer - this saved a lot of money compared to the normal hotel laundry service. I would stay here again.
great location with professional and friendly staf”
the location might be the best on kowloon peninsula. just at the exit of mtr tsim sha tsui station and east tsim sha tsui station. and very near to the star ferry to take boat to hong kong island. the staff is professional and friendly. when we early arrived, the staff checked spare room and allowed we to get in a little bit earlier. and they gave us two room cards for convenience. we had a great experience at imperial hotel.
Excellent Location”
I've stayed at the Imperial many times now. It's well located on Nathan Rd. in Tsim Sha Tsui and everything you need is a short walk away. The check-in and check-out are always easy. The rooms are comfortable enough for multiple night's stay. Despite being on a major road, the rooms are quiet. The hotel is aging a bit, but it doesn't feel run down. It's well maintained for the most part. Overall, it's a nice hotel and is perfect for those coming to Hong Kong for shopping and a few days of tourism. I will stay here again when the price is right.
Best Hotel In Hong Kong In Terms of Location and Value For Money”
Imperial Hotel is the best hotel in Hong Kong in terms of location and value for money. It is located in the commercial district of Tsim Sha Tsui near the MTR and bus stations including several well known restaurants in the area. The facilities in the room are basic but complete and operational. The staffs are polite and very cooperative. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and definitely worth coming back.
Great location but small rooms”
I only stayed at the Imperial Hotel for a day. The location was fantastic, located near shopping malls like the Harbour City Plaza and with major brands like Gucci, Balenciaga, Prada, Burberry littering the streets. Household shopping brands like H&M and Espirit were right around the corner too. Tsim Sha Tsui MTR is right at the doorstep of the hotel, with many fantastic restaurants (Dao Xiang, Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot, Hui Lai Shan Mango Dessert) located within 10min walking distance. The downside was the small size of the room though. The toliet and bathtub was extremely small too, but I guess for the price and location, Imperial is a hotel I would recommend to anyone who is looking to soak in the sights and sounds of Hong Kong.
great place, great location”
The area/district where the Imperial Hotel is located in Hong Kong is known as Tsim Sha Tsui. Please let us know what you thought of the area and/or a local attraction you visited during your stay, and whether you would recommend them to others I will recommend other to some to visit the place and I will come back here again if I have a chance to come to hongkong
Amazing stay!”
After reading several reviews looking for a budget place to stay in HK, I decided to book in a hotel instead so I get to experience it in HK then we can just transfer in pension inn or hostel for our other nights. Choosing Imperial Hotel was the best decision. It was around Php7k a night. Luckily, I have been discounted because of my sort of premium membership in Agoda paying only Php5k for a night. Hotel was just along Nathan Road. We alighted at the Middle Road from the bus we took at the airport. We came in early after a morning flight. We had to avail the hotel’s luggage service. The staff, Dennis Tsang, was very friendly far from the somehow rude vibe typical from locals as read from the general reviews. He assisted us with a smile. I felt good choosing this hotel. Service and ambiance were beyond what I expected. The room was spacious more so the comfort room which came as a surprise considering we chose a hotel conveniently located in Tsim Sha Tsiu. Overall, it was a delightful experience! We’ll definitely stay here again.
Clean, friendly service at a great location. ”
It is conveniently located between Tsim Sha Tsui and East Tsim Sha Tsui station, and about 5 mins walk to the star ferry terminal. China ferry terminal (ferry to macau) about 15 mins walk. Food is easily accessible around the area. A21 (airport coach service) stops 10m away from the hotel. If taking the airport express (hkd$100 per person, the bigger the group the lower the cost) a shuttle service is available from Kowloon station that stops on the side of Sheraton hotel. Just alight at this stop, walk to the main road (Nathan road) turn right and walk about 20-30m to reach the hotel. Hotel lobby smells of jasmine not smoke. Rooms are clean and def bigger than nearby guesthouses. Bottled water, instant coffee and tea is replenished everyday. Towels are changed everyday even if u don't leave it on the bathroom floor (like stated on a notice in the bathroom). Provides toothbrush/toothpaste, shower cap, safe, television, mini fridge. Only concern was that our room faced Chungking mansion and there was a large spotlight shining at the mansion that made the place seem like midday even when it's actually dark outside at 9pm (can be misleading unless you look at the sky). Will recommend if you don't have an extremely tight budget or want a cheaper hotel option. NOTE: no free Wifi. ( you can get a 7day 3G access from 1010 at hkd88, very fast connection)
Location ”
this hotel was located at the heart of Nathan Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui. Very convenient, location is just a stone away from Victoria Harbour and shopping malls within the area.Very helpful hotel staff, daily room service. Bus stop for A21 from Hong Kong Airport is just right infront of the hotel and MTR is just a minute away. Would definitely come back to this hotel for my next trip. Highly recommended hotel!
Pleasant stay at Imperial Hong Kong”
I could honestly say that our four days stay at Imperial Hotel in Hong Kong was a very pleasant experience. The hotel staff was very accommodating. You don't need to fall in line for so long. The staff moves very fast and checking in the hotel is really no problem. The rooms are clean. Security for your valuables are also provided for there is a safe in the hotel rooms. Checking out is also commendable. The people in charge of cleaning and checking the rooms are also very honest. My companion unknowingly left her cell phone under the pillow and upon check out the people at the reception area informed us that we left something in the room. Upon verification they returned to us the cell phone. When i return to Hong Kong i will surely stay in Imperial Hotel again.
Comfortable. No complaints”
We got a good deal from Agoda for a deluxe room with daily buffet breakfast and 12hr wifi access per day for $395 for 3 days. I emailed the manager beforehand to ask for one of the newly renovated rooms with wooden flooring (after reading reviews abt carpet smells) and also for an early check in because we were reaching hong kong about 7am. The manager replied all emails within 24hrs. We took the airport express train and shuttle bus to the hotel and reached by 8am. (Airport Express Travel Pass gives you unlimited train and bus rides for 3 days- worth it). The front desk supervisor was friendly and was able to check us in quite quickly when we arrived. Also needed to pay $500HKD as a deposit. The room and bathroom were a decent size. Had flat screen TV with some cable channels, kettle, fridge, safe, bedroom slippers etc. Bathroom always had immediate hot water for a shower. Temperature/air con controls worked well. Housekeeping was pretty efficient. Tour desk was friendly and helpful to our many questions. Everyone could speak English. Breakfast was very very basic. Restaurant was small. Irish bar that was part of the hotel was good and gave a free welcome drink when you present your room key. Location was next to Tsim Sha Tsui Station and the hotel was easily accessible from about 5 exits of the station. Hotel was located about 5 mins walking distance of the laser light show at the harbour. Many touts outside the hotel trying to sell handbags etc. Hotel is in the middle of shopping district. Felt fairly safe because always crowded even late at night. All signs/tourist destinations were in English. Most customer service people were helpful. Checked out at 3am on the last day. There were buses to the airport every 20mins overnight across the road from the hotel. Overall had a good stay with no issues with the hotel.
Great location and good price”
I stayed in the Imperial hotel for two nights while visiting friends in Hong Kong. The hotel is very close to the MRT station, and located in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsue, which is a good shopping and dining area. The price is very reasonable, and the hotel is passable if nothing special. Everything was clean, the staff were very friendly, and it was a nice budget hotel in a very good location. It's right next to the Chung King Mansions, which look very sketchy but I thought were fun.
Great Location for an affordable price”
actually, this is my second time in hk and second time in imperial hotel. the great thing i can say about this hotel is the location. bus a21 from the airport has a stop just few steps away from the hotel (ehich gives you a lot of savings rather than the airport express). several exits from mrt tsim sha tsui station are just few yards away. there is a mcdo across the street, 7-11 and money changer are also few steps away (located in chung king mansion). avenue of stars and ferry stations are also a walking distance from here. just watch out for the 'by standers' nearby. they will try to sell you watches, bags and other stuffs, just kindly decline if you are not interested.
Great location but also large room”
the location is great to be situated at the heart of shopping paradise, nathan road, tsim sha tsui, hong kong sar. you never imagine that the room charge is reasonably cheap with hotel facilities. room size and bed is big enough absolutely to two adults staying in. overall, the location is good, cheap, room is clean and neat.
Right in the Heart of Tsim Sha Tsui”
We really had the most convenient time at Imperial Hotel, from the airport taking the A21 bus, we alight right in front of the hotel. After resting for a few hours, we went down and everything is a few steps away from the hotel, malls and shopping boutique from left to right, money exchange shops at Chungking Mansion just beside it,MTR station across the hotel, just over a hundred meters to Harbour City and Canton road, restaurants and street food stalls just a few meters away. The staff are so polite and accommodating, they even have their own booth for tours especially Disneyland and Ocean Park tickets. The room is pristine and spacious enough for all of us,beds are comfy, toilets are clean, and so are the towels. Overall, I can say I got all my money’s worth by staying there, and we will definitely book Imperial Hotel again on our next Hong Kong vacation. Thanks.
clean rooms, good services”
the hotel has very clean rooms and bathrooms. being in a very strategic location is superiority. close to mtr station (making it easier for travelers who like to go alone to get to other tourist sites in hong kong) and close to several attractions (avenue of star and kowloon park), cheap shopping ladies market and kowloon mosque. hotel located in tsim sha tsui, one of the shopping centers in hong kong. not a problem to find a place to eat, because there is many places to eat around the hotel such as kfc, 7 eleven and other eating places. the drawback of this hotel is a bed that is less harsh and friendly service. in addition it is worth noting that not all rooms have windows.
Great location with easy access to MTR”
On the plus side, the hotel entrance is situated just across the road from MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Exit E, providing easy access to anywhere in Hong Kong and Kowloon. It is also surrounded by various eateries, convenience stores, shops, and malls, that you almost do not need to go anywhere else. However, on the minus side, the rooms are rather old have a stuffy smell. Air-con was rather loud but in good working condition. Towels were also rather worn out, but clean. Basic toiletries are provided, but got rather put off by the all-in-one "shampoo-conditioner-bath gel". If this is not your preferred stuff, it is recommended to bring your own. Hair dryer is also provided by the working table, and not in the bathroom. Though situated in a commercial area, the rooms are not affected by the sounds and lights from the outside. Beds are comfortable enough to have a good night sleep.
Best Value For Money Hotel At the Heart of Hong Kong Shopping And Business District”
Whenever I go to Hong Kong for shopping at TST Kowloon, my number one hotel of choice is definitely the Imperial Hotel. It is the best in value for money, best in location (both very near the Bus and MTR Stations and the staffs are very polite and helpful. All of the hotel facilities are complete and functioning very well. The only downside of this hotel is that it is quite small which is expected considering its price and location being at the prime area in Hong Kong Central Business District. It is my fifth consecutive stay in this hotel for the past five years and I'm sure I'll keep coming back next year and the years to follow.
Close and Convenient”
Located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. Imperial Hotel is probably the most affordable and reasonable compared to the other hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui. Nice, clean and friendly staff. The hotel is on the main street of all shoppers heave. A stroll to MTR station and the Ferry Pier. There are (too) many nice shopping malls and restaurants but my favourite would be street food where you can find at Temple Street which is only 10 minutes. I would highly recommend Imperial Hotel and will definitely stay there again!
Nice Hotel, Great Location”
This was my second time staying at the Imperial. Check in was super quick and easy. The room was comfortable and clean. The Single room I had didn't have a window with a view, so it felt a little boxed in, but it was a nice room nonetheless. The location of the Imperial is fantastic- right on Nathan Rd. and within walking distance of everything you need. There also a fantastic Japanese restaurant and Irish Pub below the the hotel. I don't really have any complaints about the hotel. I got a good price due to nothing major going on in Hong Kong the weekend I was there. I thought the price I paid this time matched the quality of the hotel. I've noticed other times that prices can be a little high, which might not be worth it for some travelers (other than the location).
