            Delightful accommodation and fantastic location”

Clean, friendly, beautiful beach and surroundings

We stayed in five resorts/hotels during our Malaysia holiday and Impian Inn was by far the best. The rooms are simple chalets with spacious bathrooms, and are clean, comfortable and well-maintained. Service is really personalised and the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful when organising activities like snorkelling trips. Breakfast is included in the price, but they also offer a scrumptious dinner nightly for RM12 per person. The location is fantastic, the sea is clear and warm, the bush beautiful and the wildlife plentiful. This is simple tropical island holidaying at its most peaceful best.

            Quiet, peaceful, nice beach ”

The cabins were far enough apart so as not to be disturbed by neighbours; the staff were friendly and helpful; the cabins were clean.

Impian Inn was a pleasant place to stay although their dinners were all Malaysian foods. Their breakfasts were okay but no fresh fruit was available. The drawback was not the inn itself but rather Kampung Genting. It is one of the older resorts and lacks good places to eat. Restaurants were low on supplies so they only had one selection on their extensive menu! The Chinese restaurant seemed to be the best bet.

            Great beach, super staff”

Quiet area of Tioman, very helpful staff, great beach

This is a set of chalets and we stayed in a standard chalet. No tv, just a/c. It was comfortable. No issues about bugs in the room. Wear big spray on the beach, though for sand flies everywhere on Tioman. If you do that you will love this island. Genting is a sleepy village, so do not go here if you want to party. Lovely beach in front of Impian, but walk a couple of minutes south and you will find a stretch of beach that is paradise. Food options in Genting were very limited during Ramadan. The staff at Impian really make the place. The two young men were super friendly and helpful to us for snorkeling and then moving up island to Salang. The one young man was indispensable in manoevering to the ferry, getting through the confusion and on our way.

            Great hospitality with great service”

Well maintained rooms with good serenity

stayed 3 days 2 nights. the greatest thing i liked most is the welcome service & hospitality provided by the resort . booked only standard room but the person in charge mr.aaron manage to provide us with deluxe room and near to the lobby with no additional charges. as it was midday when we arrived in tioman hunger started to pang . the helper mr. vina took us for a lunch near to resort in his bike with a carrier attached which can accommodate all of us. another helper mr. rajoo a bangladeshi is a gem of person who were there to attend to all our needs all the time from the moment we reached in impiana inn. a good guy , hardworking with great manners. not forgetting mr. john and mr.sam who gave great advices on pulau tioman walkabouts. though the rooms in impiana inn a bit small to accommodate a fly with 4 but the service rendered will make you to forgo all those things. mr. aaron even arranged our snorkeling trip with the minimal charges which you cannot find in kg. genting. others charging whopping rm350 for a boat for 5hrs trip to 3 places namely tekek, pulau rengis and marine park. a nice place to stay if you are on a budget travel.

            Wonderful stay”

            location, sfall, wifi

We stayed 4 nights with my boyfriend, having the chalet with a sea view. The accommodation is simple, but you always have warm water, they clean it and change the towels etc. Our stay was enriched by the extremely friendly local staff. We also did the snorkeling trip with them and it was just great. We had only breakfast which is also very simple but for the money you pay I would say it is convenient. We will think of Impian Inn in the best way. Maybe I would add that the whole Genting village is very relaxing, calm, quiet so really for people who want to enjoy their stay in relaxing, easy way.

Beautiful beach, frienly and helpful staff

Our experience at Impian Inn was very good. Good and cheap food, good surrounding, good beach, and very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed relaxing and watching sunset on the beach, feeding fish at the pier, snorkeling on right side of the pier and left side of the Inn. Although these 2 spots are not the best snorkeling spot in Tioman, I would like to stay here if I come again because one can join snorkeling trip to good spots for snorkeling and the room rate here is good..

            Wonderful Staff, Great view

The first day I was totally confused to be alone between the jungle and desert beach, at first sight nothing to do on this Island. But the staff was so friendly, Threat me as a princess and actually, for this kind of adventurer island this hotel is quite ok, and BED ROOMS ARE CLEAN. I so much enjoy snorkeling on the different spots! Hotel can arrange for you, if you are alone like me as a tour. One local person told me that Impana Inn is the best hotel in GENTING tioman (there are many different place in tioman, that we can access only by boat) GO GO GO

            great service with a smile”

clean rooms, friendly staff, good stretch of beach

we stayed for 5 nights and initially had booked standard rooms which were very basic, some donwright in need of a "facelift". we upgraded to their deluxe version and even though still fairly basic, they had aircon, fans, flat screen tv, and the mattresses were good! bathroom a nice size with cold/hot water so all in all, for cheap accomodation, i would recommend the deluxe rooms. breakfast was weak, just the basics and no lavish feast but still enough to start the day. all the staff extremely friendly, helpful, willing and if anything was asked for, they tried to accomodate us immediately and as much as possible. located right at the one end of genting village, it was rather quiet but that meant we had the beach mostly to ourselves which was great. the only downside of tioman, was the rubbish strewn around: empty palstic bottles, cans, cigarette boxes etc etc and though the locals keep their little bit of home turf clean, it's just not enough! public rubbish bins are few and far between. maybe if more were available, this would help combat the litter all over the place? all in all, we had a great time, we would recommend impian inn and would go there again!

The place was good, but the most outstanding thing was the staff! They are all great people, working in harmony, always helping, being patient and understanding. The atmosphere they created was really cozy, friendly, it felt almost like home. As for the place - it's really quiet, the room was decent, there were few cracks on the walls, bathroom could look better as well. But except of that it was a great place to rest after spending whole day on the beach. I would for sure come back to Impian Inn!

            location, service

the beach right next to the hotel is great. the staff of the hotel is very friendly! if you're there the scuba tour the hotel offers for very reasonable price (we paid around 15€ per person, depends on how many ppl take the tour) is an absolute must. hotel also offers diving tour, but we didnt take it. we didn't bring a credit card and therefore ran out of money before our depature, thanks to the very friendly staff, we were able to work it out though. travellers are advised to bring either a mastercard or visa, maestrocard won't work on tioman island!

relaxing, comfortable, and close the beach,

We spent 2 nights at Impian. It was easy to get to from the boat jetty and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating from the second we got there. Our room was equipped with many things that we didnt need (like a flat screen TV) while relaxing on an island, but it was still very nice. The hotel is set just a little ways back from the beach, but is still very close. We could see the sand and the water from our doorstep! We were able to rent snorkel gear and the hotel does offer snorkel trips. The small buffet breakfast was very good as well.

            Location, staff and surroundings

Arriving at Genting beach mid week, we found the entire place pretty much deserted! Located the hotel easily. Right on the beach, they have private sun loungers for guests. Room was basic, but clean and really all you need! Wifi in rooms. Restaurants were few and far between on Genting beach, but the hotel did do a BBQ for the guests one night. Don't go here expecting gourmet food. It's a secluded beach on a small island! The hotel does have its own boat and will organise a round island boat trip for guests every couple of days staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

            nice cosy place ”

Great location 5 mins walk from kampung genting jetty. Simple wooden houses . Some part of the flooring are kind of hollow and squeaky . Shower curtain is stained. And a bit torn . White Bath towels are kind of yellow... Overall a bit run down but still clean & not really a problem . Best thing about the resort is the friendly and helpful staff Raju . He speak good English and provide you all information needed . The stay there was an enjoyable one with Raju bringing us and another guest out to snorkel in the sea nearby. This made up for the disappointment when we had to cancel the boat trip to snorkel due to bad weather in the morning . A big thankful to Raju & staff. Will return for sure and also recommend to friends .

            Good location in quiet setting”

            Quiet Village Location

tioman is a quiet undeveloped island. perhaps 10% of the island is developed and the rest is still in its natural state. a great place to go for a vacation whether you enjoy land or sea activities. when i was there, no more than 20-30 visitors on the entire island. the total population of the locals is around 450. goyal who worked at impiana inn made a great effort to make all guests feel comfortable. he even cooked a meal for a group of us one night for merely the cost of the ingredients.

            Impian Inn”

Frendly staff, easygoing. Beautiful setting. Location.
No ATM in Genting - you need to get to Tikkit which costs 100 ringits - ferries are infrequent

Really enjoyed this holiday - Impian Inn turned out to be a really good choice of place to stay. The village, Genting is a short walk, and contains a restaurant and a bar. Snorkeling in the bay outside the hotel is fabulous, and there is a dive shop attached to the hotel.

            Very nice staf”

The good location close to the beach, the very nice staff, the quietness

The food choice was kind of limited, and there are not much other restaurant choice on Genting, but if you're looking for a quiet beach, not too urbanized, and with nice people, it is a good choice. The staff of Impian Inn is really lovely, they are always smiling and offer scooters lift to the jetty anytime. I highly recommend the day snorkeling trip, that takes you to different snorkeling spots, and to different beaches to rest, which is cool.

Very friendly and helpful staffs, comfortable room, peaceful place to stay”

Resort is only 5 minute walk from the jetty and the beach is just a minute walk away. Room was quite clean and equipped with hot shower and air conditioning. A big thank you to the friendly staffs there that really make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible . The snorkeling tour they organized was also really well planned. We really enjoyed our stay there. Definitely the place to go to if you're planning for a peaceful getaway as kampung genting is a rather small and laid-back town. Otherwise opt for paya or tekek if you're looking for a more happening place.

            Beautiful garden, very nice staff”

Bungalows are comfortable and cozy, not luxury, however we had great time here. The best part of beach with very good snorkelling area is from Impian on left side near Rock. Dinners were very tasty at the resort and staff was very nice and helpful. Genting is quiet village with few restaurants and duty free shop. You can go to snorchelling trip or walk to Paya.
