Overall good value for money.
Good lounge and pool area to socialise. Loved the shower overlooking the garden. Right across the road from the ridge walk which I loved and right in the middle of town. Wifi available in all areas. ...
Very noisy in the mixed dorm but I plugged my earphones in and got to sleep no trouble. Would be nice if the beds had mosquito nets due to door always being open. Toilets were always smelly and quite ...

If you dont have budget control or you don't plan to experience the local life or whatever, this hotel may not be the one for you. mosquitos are every where. The room look like a kinda of musty and smell funky.

Very nice stay
family friendly and family run hotel
The hotel is family run and has a very homely atmosphere. It is located very close to the main street on a small hill where the noise from the traffic below does not reach. Rooms are very spacy and clean.

Lovely stay and very helpful staff
good location, helpful staff, good value for the money
This place is ideal if you seek an island in the Jungle. The place is on a hill top, thus has a pleasant climate, walking distance from the city center and the staff is very friendly and helpful! Their services are very good value for the money! + Rooster alarm goes on in the morning!

backpacker party hostel
The hostel is very well located, close to the monkey forest and restaurants. Staff is very nice and helpful. Nice swimming pool.

The only thing I did not like was that we are not allowed to bring any food or beverage from the outside in. I just felt like this was a little too strict for a guest house.

Great meetup place with great...
Was nice to meet other "backpackers" there. It is a really nice place with a great atmosphere. They can organise some great activities for you. Next to that there is a nice swimming pool. ...
It is too bad they only have 2 private rooms. The staff is okay, but not overly helpful, a bit blunt so to say. Also, a rooster is likely to keep you up at night.

Good Hotel for loner and traditionalist
Traditional ambience
This hotel is not as my expectation. Mention about parking lot but apparently you must walking through alley to reach the hotel and park your car outside on the street. Luckly my car is oke. The room is traditional - furniture, bathroom and no AC. unfortunately the shower is not so good and the room service is closed so we have to find food from outside. The hotel is so quite and good for you if you are looking for a quite, traditional and nice place to rest. The employee is not so friendly and not helping you handling luggage.

Steep prices for area, probably once a nice place.
Quite central, big room with living area, bed room and balcony (but no fan in the bedroom, very stuffy mosquito net, and leaking ceiling)
The owner was a pretty grumpy old man, who tried to tell us all the wrong prices (too high) for things. Breakfast was not included but the owner claimed that he can provide a very good cheap breakfast anyway. Don't get it, the eggs got served cold, the juice wasn't fresh, and the toast wasn't very nice. Late at night we asked for some noodles and we got instant noodles charged 10 times what they're worth. The room was very big, but also old. The ceiling leaked as it is monsoon (and the owner seemed to not mind that we weren't told and it leaked right into our bags). The room was stuffy and the mosquito net could do with a wash. There's no wifi in the room, and in the wifi area it didn't work. The owner tries people to come via agoda and charges more if you decide to stay another day. More than if you would book through agoda again. We tried to negotiate but that wasn't an option. The next day we left and stayed at a much nicer place with a pool, breakfast and better location for less. We wouldn't recommend In da lodge.

"Friendly Staff"
Great Location
Rooms are very large but old and a little dirty. Location is awesome...100 metres off of Jalan Raya Ubud one of the 2 main shopping and dining streets in Ubud. Furthermore, the hotel is extremely close to the main temples in Ubud and the Tourist Information Office. Basically you are in walking distance of everything. That said, this place is for hardcore travellers who don't mind having NO air-con, no fridge, no toiletries or towels etc.
