        Weekend Trip In Cambodia”
Wasn't the cleanest, wifi wasn't the greatest and our shower head broke when we first tried to use it , but location was good as well as staff was very helpful to navigate the surrounding city. We booked where breakfast was included, and although it was simple breakfast, it was a good deal offered by hotel.

Though rooms were fairly basic there were clean and had in room safe, well run and efficient staff, location is particularly excellent for naughty night life yet also good for river and city tourist items

        excellent location”
I had a big room on the 1st floor. The room was basic, but clean. There are a lot of restaurants and bars nearby, 2 minutes walking to the river, walking distance to the palace and night market. Not a bad choice in Phnom Penh.

the staff is great. Everyone is super, super nice
I've stayed at the Indochine 2 many times, love this hotel, the staff is great, they are so friendly and kind. The wifi is really good, which is important if you need to keep connected on your travels. Walking distance to all the nightlife on the riverfront, and actually, you can walk to the Russian Market (it only takes about 10 minutes).

        Great Staff, Great Location”
very nicely situated in the Waterfront area
Indochine 2 is a clean, well situated place to make as your base of operations in PP. The staff is particularly professional and friendly. Very beautiful city view from the upper floors. The free breakfast is ok, but you might want to splurge on some of the menu items - they have a really good outdoor cafe on the first floor next to the lobby. Great people watching.

        Location, Location, Location!!”
Closeness to riverfront, markets, tourist spots and nightlife.
Only being one street back from the riverfront is a perfect location. Good staff and very helpful. My room overlooked the street. The room was simple, but adequate for the price. Only drawback was that it has no lift. But this is quite common in this style of building. I had a choice of breakfast(include in the price) at the attached restaurant. Had free wifi in the lobby. I would stay here again!

        I liked this hotel”
Very relaxed in an excellent location
This hotel was a good find in my opinion. The location was perfect being on a quiet street just off the esplanade. It sits between the streets with late night bars and has a couple of excellent restaurants just across the street. A short walk around the corner and you're in center of Cambodia's best market and just a kilometer up the road is the famous Central Market. 50 meters the other way and you're on the Esplanade with all of the best food and entertainment that Phnom Penh has to offer. I liked the staff here very much. They were bothy relaxed and professional. Only drawback is the lack of elevator. I had a top floor room and wouldn't swap it anything but it may not be for you.

Cleam rooms, well run and great location
Not all the rooms have windows but my request at the time of booking with Agoda for a non-smoking room with a city view window was noted on my arrival and a room as requested provided. The Air Conditioning worked well and the option of a fan was also a bonus. The rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard a dnthe hotel itself , while ageing, is quite well maintained. The reception staff were very helpful and arranged bus tickets, advised on Tuk Tuk prices and were generall friendly, polite and curteous. It was a pleasure to return to the hotel at the end of a busy day walking around town. the river is very close, only 2 or 3 minute walk to the large assortment of restaurants and bars that line Sisowath Quay Street.

Some rooms lack windows so ask in advance
I really enjoyed this hotel for the efficient and friendly staff and great location. The hotel is an older style Asian style hotel with tiled floors and open plan bathrooms but the Indochine 2 is well maintained, the rooms clean and staff very helful. The included breakfast is a limited choice of eggs with baguette or pastries with either coffee, tea or jiuce. The fried eggs with french bread and orange juice was very nice and quality made up for quantity. The Reception desk can book buses, sells MetFone sim cards and can arrange taxis and tuk tuks. The WiFi is free and has quite good connection speeds.

Reasonable cheap hotel, but in need of refurbishment”
I stayed here in 2011 and decided to book in again for this trip. The place does feel a little neglected since then, and can definitely do with being smarted up, but it's OK if you don't expect too much. It has a good location, handy for the bars and restaurants of the Riverside area, and the staff were helpful.

Good receptionists ZIDA and VUTHY. The helper CHINDAI was also helpful. Daily room cleaning. Two water bottles daily. Clean hotel. Right in centre of tourists area. For Muslims halal restaurant right in front of hotel. Serkal mosque about 2 to 3 kilometres from hotel. Independence monument, royal palace, national museum, central market, night market all within walking distance of about one to two kilometres. About 50 meters from hotel is the river front. FOUR FLOORS. NO LIFT but wide staircase. NORMAL TV (I think 18 inch) in room with lots of channels including several English channels. Mini fridge, deposit box, small closet with lots of cloth hangers. A/C was okay. There is also a fan. Cleaning everyday. Includes breakfast, limited choice bread toast with butter, jam, scrambled or fried eggs with hot tea, coffee. Will go there next time. A NOTE ON THE GIANT IBIS BUS BUS WAS DELAYED BY nearly an hour. It was FULL OF COCKROACHES. On the way it stopped due to some mechanical problem. An alternative bus was mobilised. That was a good bus. No cockroaches. Was served one croissant and water bottle. WIFI available in BUS. Those planning to catch a flight better keep at least three to four hour gap. Staff efficient. They must clean the buses as food crumbs of passengers probably creates this cockroach infestation.

        rooms need update”
Three things can be easily done to upgrade the experience: change single pane windows to double pane windows, this will cut down on outside noise and save energy. Add a hot pot to the room so the guest does not need to go downstairs when they want to make tea or coffee. Change the pillows which are now only slightly softer than a piece of wood.

The hotel is close to the river side but there are groups of homeless people living near the front of it. Also, there is no lift and I was on the fourth floor. My room had a view of an ugly building at the back and there was construction noise from 7am all day .. So I checked out 5 days early. For an extra $20 I got a room twice the size with a river view.

This family run business is in an excellent position right near the river and the night-life of Phnom Penh. Great restaurants, friendly and honest staff, a street cafe/restaurant attached (not many have this). The rooms are very basic but they are very clean (services daily) and the room rates are excellent.

Located a street back from the river in Phnom Penh this hotel provides comfortable rooms, albeit somewhat basic, with free of charge WIFI & an included breakfast at the restaurant located next door. Location, price & breakfast included
I stayed for 3 nights and it was close to all the nightlife, bars & restaurants. Most the main things to see in Phnom Penh were within walking distance, but there were always tuk tuks outside. On arrival I was told I would have to change to a smaller room for my last night. Despite my objections, there was no alternative and so I had to move my clothes & baggage. To make matters worse I had noisy neighbours near the new room who were forever talking loudly in the hotel corridor and banging doors & going into each other's rooms! I didn't think the staff were that helpful and I would not stay here again.
