Ms Anh and all her staff went above and beyond to make our wedding anniversary one to remember more than our honeymoon - 25 years ago. Nothing is to small or big. Ask for all things - including set Taxi prices. Vietnam is just opening back up - do be mindful not everything is open. To experience that old world charm of imperial times of Kings. This is the Hotel. Opulent and beautiful. There is a big difference between 5 star and 4 star. The food was amazing. They catered for us having wls. We would defiantly come again. An exceptional hotel stay”
We are traveling in SE Asia for 6 months and have learned to make reservations for just a few nights at a hotel so we can see if it suits us before we stay longer. We did the same at the Indochine Palace and within an hour of our arrival, we extended our stay because this hotel is so special. We booked a superior room only and it was beautiful, comfortable and spacious with a balcony that over looked the pool from the 8th floor. Our room had many of the touches you would expect from a top flight luxury hotel: electrical outlets that worked continuously (even without insertion of the room key) to allow for charging of devices even in our absence, dimmer switches for lights, allowing for individual light adjustments, and continuous air conditioning, just to name a few. The best thing about the hotel were the staff, greeting us by name everywhere, celebrating a birthday with a cake in the room, and responding to our every need and request with grace, kindness and smiles.

Staying at the Indochine was a one-of-a-kind event. When I entered my lovely room, I had the jaw-dropping experience of seeing the panoramic view from the balcony, which included a gorgeous swimming pool where I happily worked out each morning. The dining room was majestic and exotic, and the buffet breakfast one of the finest of my trip to Vietnam. Best of all was the live music in the grand lobby by a 3-person ensemble – the pianist was enormously talented, and the evening performances of romantic songs were unforgettable. Each day, the charming staff members provided expert and gracious service – I will long remember my wonderful time at the Indochine.

We booked this hotel based on the reviews on Agoda. As far as a 5 star goes, it's pretty good. The room itself was great. They upgraded us on check in and we enjoyed the size and open concept of the space. The hotel itself is in need of some refurbishment, to be honest. We notice details. It's a majestic hotel that needs some upkeep. That's the only negative thing I can think about, except that he breakfast as well was lacking. The staff was wonderful and accommodating.
