We stayed Inly Spa & Resort for one night. That's a amazing place in Inly Lake, good architectures, quiet sleep, delicious food in restaurant. Just little far from Nyaungshwe in the mid-night. Hospitality from Owner and staff.

Pros: great overall villa with views of the lake in a tranquil setting. I especially loved being able to sit on my balcony sipping tea whilst taking in natural scenery. Cons: It's a bit far from the main town

This is a truly relaxing resort to stay, with such a lovely waterfront location on awesome Inle Lake. Guests also can take a stroll around the hotel ground with lots of trees and lotus ponds. Rooms are well decorated with great privacy and charm.

Beautiful place for Sunset in Inle Lake”
The staff is helpful, speak English well. The air and the indoor/outdoor view are just perfectly. Buffet for breakfast is quite delicious with many options, especially they have Asian food served with the chopsticks. Everything is OK except for water heater in my bathroom. It seems not working and I had to take a shower in cold water for days. It would be fine in summer, but in winter, it's not acceptable!

Beautiful resort with nice sunset ”
We booked the economical room for 2 nights. We didn’t quite like how the hotel management differentiate the segment with different garden lights as though the economical room are “low cost” room while we had good spending power and engaged multiple services from hotel directly include 2-way airport transfer, half day boat ride, day trip to Kakku plus several dining in the restaurant. It is a very nice resort surrounded with nature, in front of Inle Lake with sunset watching platform. Huge resort but under-utilised and the compound of the resort is so huge and not easy to navigate especially at night on our first day that we had to ask around how to walk to our room right at the far end and how to walk to car park area in the morning. Facility was good except the water heater wasn’t working properly on the 2nd night, but it was okay the next day. Breakfast was ala carte due to low occupancy rate, but guests are able to make unlimited order since the buffet breakfast was replaced with ala carte. One of the female server showed grumpy face when she was too busy serving the breakfast ordered by ala carte. Other than that, the service was generally good and front desk staff were more friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was adequate and the food at the restaurant was acceptable since it is too far for us to go out of the resort to try out other restaurants outside the hotel. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay despite some less than ideal situations. Would still recommend this resort especially for those who love sunset and boat ride at Inle Lake where these services are readily available at the hotel.

        Beautiful view but overpriced amenities”
The view is incredible and the staff are mostly very helpful. However, we felt quite ripped off by the cost of the 'extras'. It was listed as having a hot tub and - because we had just finished a trek, this was our main reason for choosing the hotel. However, it actually costs $15 per 30 minutes and it is in the middle of the spa which had staff walking around all the time. Therefore, I don't think they should list as having a hot tub as a separate feature to 'spa facilities' as this implies that the hot tub is free to use. The other part was that when I tried to book a taxi to the bus station, the woman on reception wouldn't give me a number for a separate taxi firm and so instead I had to use the hotel's car service which was $20 for a 25 minute journey. Having lived in Myanmar for 18 months, this is an extortionate amount - in a Yangon taxi this would have cost maximum $5. Overall, beautiful place with great staff - but frustrated by the cost of the extras.

        Relaxing place ”
If you want a sanctuary away from all the hustle and bustle then this resort is for you. Very away from the city and amenities are so great most especially the pool but it should have a heater coz it’s very cold. Our room was clean but there were ants from time to time. All staff were friendly and helpful. Bring lots of food coz there’s no store nearby. We weren’t able to bring food so we tried the restaurant and it was pricey but very delicious. We’ll definitely come back again.

+ good quality of food + directly on the lake + nice outside facilities, but a bit blowzy - animal (bugs, moskitos) in the room and especially in the bed - bathroom smells like a canal - wifi is not working and very instable - staff is not well trained in terms of additional special service - the manager focuses on the restaurant but has lost focus on improving all other things in the hotel - rooms in general very old and bit humid - very high priced for additional services - like airport transfer more than double price than a normal taxi

The villa where we stayed was very nice and the area was quiet. The staff was really helpful and very service minded. The food was OK but not superb. We did one halfday boot trip and the highlight during this trip was a visit to a local market. We couldn't see any tourists there but us!

Not luxurious like the lake or pond view suites but small clean and affordable. Excellent breakfast and access to large pool and gym complex. Only snag is being a way away from the town so you’re encouraged to eat there- one local restaurant “home made” is worth a fifteen min walk.

Unbelievable location. Paradise on the Lake. Rooms were amazing and clean and one night i upgraded to the lake view with balcony and it was bliss the staff are amazingly helpful from everything to tracing my lost luggage to find me a guide/ driver for the Fire Balloon festival. It is about 12km from town but there are complimentary bikes (no lights be warned ) otherwise a £10 toto ride. I would say it is perfect for couples nothing to do in the hotel for singles, but as I was travelling all day i just wanted to chill and relax at night. Stunning place.

        Stunning Lake Front Views”
We stayed in a Royal Villa (Lake Front) with our two boys ages 6 years & 8 years. Upgrading to the Royal Villa is well worth it in my opinion. You can sit on your desk and watch the sunset. However, if you choose a different room, there are two large 'public' decks for sunset viewing. The reason I only gave 3 starts for value for money is that I feel $80 for an extra bed in a room is excessive. The hotel was able to arrange a taxi for us to go to the nearby Red Mountain winery - gorgeous views from here, worth going later in the afternoon. The also arranged for a boat for us to do the lake tour the next day. There is no tour guide - just a 'driver'. Ours was not particularly good - didn't tell us where we were even so we could look in the guide book, and seemed annoyed when we asked him. I would recommend looking at the places you want to visit, as we felt some more not worth the stop and merely a 'tourist' stop to make some $$. Even with the stops we weren't interested in, it was lovely being out on the water. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, and food was not great (too salty, and I love salt). Having said that, the cost for food and drink was inexpensive.

location at lake, beautiful adapted low-key design, good breakfast
Great, if expensive location, we enjoyed one night there very much. wouldn't stay longer though because of dinner option. other guest were a litte bit all-inclusive style, but that may have been only at that evening. we didn't like the large dinner room and the offered food was too western and extremely overpriced (drinks even more), taking adavantage of the location (you can't "escape" to other places). much better and cheaper restaurants in Nyaungshwe. Breakfast buffet is very nice and way above Myanmar-standards, though.

Good, if secluded, choice on Inle Lake”
Extraordinary setting on the lake, sunset from the bar, peaceful environment
We recently stayed for two nights and were satisfied. The location, right on the lake itself, makes for a spectacular if secluded setting. Watching the sunset from the private jetty with a beer is a perfect wind down after a day on the lake. As its secluded, you must eat at the restaurant which, considering their ability and potential to charge what they please, proved to be reasonable and the quality of food was good. Service was attentive and helpful. The garden cottage rooms were nicely decorated, but the bathrooms were a little tired. If you can, pay extra for the lake facing bungalows. Bring mosquito repellent as there are several inland lakes around the complex with resident mozzies to keep you company. Overall, a recommended choice for Inle Lake.
