Exceptional”
The things that I appreciated about Inn of Chicago: great location (with reference to Magnificent Mile); straightforward, classic, no-frills room structure/design; free, fast wifi; room cleaned everyday (it was so nice to come home to a kept room every day); inexpensive relative to other hotels nearby. Points for improvement: may "update" or design their rooms; their airconditioning was centralized (some big box on the wall) although I did not feel that it was too cold nor warm; airport shuttle may be provided (at a fee, but better if free); just a general renovation and "updating" would be nice. But mainly for its cost vis-a-vis the location and straightforward facility and service, I highly recommend Inn of Chicago.

Inn of Chicago”
We liked the Inn of Chicago, located at Chicago for a number of reasons. Firstly, its location was ideal for shopping, the Magnificent Mile was close to the Inn. It was close to the very excellent Chicago visitors centre. The public transport facilities and taxis were staffed by courteous and helpful people. The staff at the Inn created a quiet, safe & relaxed environment, which contributed to our memorable holiday in Chicago.

Quaint Inn at the Magnificent Mile”
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel since it is very accessible to everything that Chicago has to offer. It is just blocks away from the Water Tower and the John Hancock Observatory as it is smacked in the middle of the Magnificent Mile. The staff had been nice except when there are a lot of people checking in or out. The elevators are quite small though... but aside from that, the Inn of Chicago is not bad at all.

Superb location and friendly staff”
This place truly is a wonderful, old-style, comforting hotel. Having read other reviews of this hotel I was expecting quite an old-looking, shabby hotel, but I can assure you it is nothing of he sort. The room rates were very reasonable for a large US town, and the location (around the corner from the Magnificent Mile) is superb. It's very easy to get to by the blue line train from the airport (about a 10-125 minute walk from Clark/Lake station, across the beautiful Chicago River), and there is also a very pleasant Armenian restaurant across the road. The only slight drawback is that there is no free wi-fi in the rooms; free wi-fi is available in the lobby, but only in 15-minute blocks. All in all, a wonderful stay.

Great Value for the Money”
I would highly recommend the Inn of Chicago. It is a great value for the money and is located right in the heart of Chicago, on the "Magnificent Mile." The staff is friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

Things were great but got downgraded with our room”
It was a pleasant stay in the Inn of Chicago but we were a bit disappointed as we booked a traditional King room end up they provided us with Queen room. Notice that the price and size of the traditional King and the Queen room are different but they did not say anything at that time and give me back a cheaper rate! I am not sure if that was a mistake, I am not lucky, or it is the magic of overcharging people by providing a downgraded room. Anyway, it happened. However, I have to point out that the billman who looks like an Asian (sorry I didn't ask for his name) is extraordinary! He is very helpful, friendly, and passionate about his work. Thumb up for him!

Excellent location, great price!”
The staff were very pleasant and concierge very helpful with transportation and restaurant suggestions. You could not beat the location of the hotel to the Magnificent Mile, especially for the price! Although the rooms weren't anything exceptional, they were very comfortable and an excellent choice for the cost. The L red line is only a couple of blocks away and everything else is within walking distance. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Chicago!

Value for money”
Very nice location. Near a 7eleven, lots of restos nearby, The Magnificent Mile is a block a way, TJ Maxx, Marshal's, Trader Joe's all walking distance from th Inn of Chicago. Room is small but had the regular hotel room amenities such as A/C, iron, safe, fridge, blowdryer, toiletries. Nice roofdeck on the 22nd floor, great views of the city especially at night. There is a parking garage next to the Inn.

Great Location, friendly service”
A great little hotel with the classic brick facade of an older Chicago hotel. Don't expect your modern 5 star hotel, but for the price and the location, you can't beat it! Staff was friendly and accommodating, rooms were clean, with no frills decor and nice flat screen tvs. Bathroom was small but clean. Who goes to the miracle mile to stay in their rooms anyway? This is literally 100ft from the height of shopping on the miracle mile, and less than a mile walk to Millenium Park and Grant Park. A great option for those who'd prefer to spend their money on the shopping and the great Chicago food or music, not unnecessary hotel frills!

Great location ”
We were lucky to have a corner room on 17th floor with 3 windows. This room looked newly refurbished and has two full sized beds, coffee maker, iron and board, small fridge. The bathroom with bath and shower overhead had a hairdryer, and soap and shampoo were supplied. The hotel staff were excellent and we opted out of our room being serviced and received a 5 dollar card to use at bar for each opt out day. The area was within walking distance of all the highlights of Chicago. I would recommend this hotel

Superb location for the price”
a lot of my friends told me this hotel is old but the room is decent enough for the price, before i went there. that was my main consideration about staying on this hotel. but when i came there, i have to say my choice was not bad, as it has a perfect location (magnificent mile, esay to go to most of chicago's main attractions), room was not that big, but not as small as its bathroom. it was comfort enough and clean to let me had a good rest during travel. only things that was a bit cons for me was the staff service. it's just okay. also, there was no free wi-fi inside the room, so if you want to get a free access one, you got to go to the lobby all the time while it was kind of troublesome for those who is really tired.

Excellent”
The hotel is certainly outdated but I always choose to stay here as the cost benefit is worth it. I would much prefer to stay at a clean, outdated hotel and save some cash. Inn of Chicago helps accomplish this.

great location”
It is located near North Michigan Anvenue, one of the busiest shopping areas of chicago. The hotel staff were friendly. There are a few 24 hours stores and fast food restaurant nearby. The bath room is a bit small, but facilities are pretty decent.

Superb Location!”
This hotel is in the perfect location - less than 5 minute walk to the magnificent mile. It is also located at the half way mark on the magnificent mile so you can walk in one direction to the higher end of shopping and walk the other direction to millennium park and the loop. The free wifi is only in the lobby and you have to pay to use the internet if you wanna use it in your room. There is no fridge or complimentary bottled water. Service is great. They will book shuttle buses for you while your off shopping etc.

Nice Hotel, good facilities”
Very nice hotel, staff very helpful, especially the luggage porters who booked taxis and also a tour for us. Good facilities, nice and clean and very central in the middle of the Magnificent Mile area.

Nice little hotel with perfect location”
The hotel location is perfect, right in the middle of the most beautiful part of Chicago. The building itself might need some upgrade though, bathroom and doors look like they have been there for ages. Overall a very fair price for such a good location

8 Nights at Agoda”
Generally, this hotel is a good choice for both business and personal trip although the service needs improvement. The whole hotel area is quite safe and quiete at night. It is in the middle of the main Michigan avenue, walking to Chicago River in the south or the famous Water Tower in the north takes about 5-10 minutes.
