Unreal serenity”
Finding this gem really made our Siquijor trip amazing. We had the upstairs unit (with only 1 other unit- downstairs) and were instantly surprised at how amazing the place was. Gorgeous beachfront location and a pretty yard and water views to look out onto from the balcony. The unit was very clean, plenty big enough for the 2 of us, with a dining area, kitchen, bathroom, queen bed and wardrobe. Lots of kitchen utensils to help with a cook up. San Juan has markets and only a 5 minute scooter ride away. Salgdon beach is gorgeous, but really not good for swimming. There is algae in spots and quite shallow even at high tide. Nonetheless I witnessed some of the most beautiful sunsets form this beach with the mountains of Dumaguete in the background. The manager was lovely and very easy going. Wifi is available in the reception area most of the time. It wasn't working a couple of times so the manager fixed it for us straight away. JJ's Backpackers is next door as is One Sunset View for some cheap food for when we didn't feel like cooking and also for a cheap beer and nice sunset spot. Scooter hire is either next door at J's or 2 minute walk to the left up the road for P350 per day. If we ever come back to Siquijor we will stay here! Can't recommend enough.

New hotel located along the main road”
The stay was great. No aircon but the breeze is cold so you don't need one. We cooked our own food sometimes. There's a small grocery near the hotel; around 2 minutes walk. The area is along the main road then on the other side is the beach. We did not swim in the beach because it was full of algae. But it's nice to look at. No wifi. Our main problem were the windows! People can see you from the outside! They should put thicker curtains! Nevertheless, overall experience is above average :)

Me pareció excesivo el precio que nos cobró agoda, hicimos una extensión del alojamiento por otro día más y el hotel nos cobró 1750 pesos y agoda nos cobró,2400 pesos por noche.

非常棒的地方！”
非常整洁干净，厨房设施齐全，只有两间房且阳台面向海，坐在凳子上发呆非常惬意。小院子里有吊床，基本不会有很热很热的时候。本身不提供餐饮，隔壁的JJ's有超级棒的美式食物，早中晚加夜酒都可以解决，食物划算好吃性价比超高。所有人都非常友善，总体非常棒！

Man måste hyra moppe för att kunna bo här, annars är man fast på rummet. Restaurangerna intill är under all kritik. Stranden utanför var väldigt dålig så de knappt gick att bada. Enbart Wifi i receptionen och det var väldigt dålig mottagning ändå. Kändes onödigt att ha en lägenhet med konvrå och kyl då det ändå inte fanns några mini mart på hela ön som sålde kylvaror eller likande så man kunde göra något själv. Strömmen stängdes dessutom av 08-12 lördag fm, då fanns varken fläkt, toa, kylskåp eller mat tillgängligt på intill liggande restauranger. Åker aldrig till denna ö igen. Sämsta jag varit på i hela Filippinerna.

Gillar du damm, smuts, spindelnät, skitiga sängkläder, hål i taket och delar gärna rum med kackerlackor, 1000 myror och andra insekter? Då är detta stället för dej! När man sedan berättar detta och att vattnet och elen slutat funka, förstår inte personalen för ingen pratar engelska. Ta ett dopp i det algiga vattnet eller gå till grannen om du vill kunna prata med nån! Välkommen till Inn the shade! Vi hade i alla fall tur med vädret...
