Great Location and Service”
We really enjoyed our stay at Intercontinental Geneva Hotel. The location was perfect. Very near the bus stop. The hotel staff were very helpful. We really appreciate their concierge, Nicolas. He was very accommodating and gave us the best advice of doing a day trip to Montreux. The next time we decide to visit Geneva, we will definitely stay at Intercontinental Geneva Hotel again!

Disappointed with dining”
Booked the hotel because of the availability of a pool. However, breakfast and dining was overpriced - perhaps reflective of a five star hotel but the food was of very average quality. There is so much you can eat for a buffet breakfast. For the price of CHF 45, I ate the same amount, quality and variety of food I ate for CHF 25 in a 4 star hotel. I ordered lunch at the Woods restaurant which is meant to be the fancy restaurant of the hotel. The dish consisted of partially burnt vegetables and over cooked chicken in what tasted like soy sauce which gave the meal a bitter taste. I could not finish the dish. This certainly was not to the standard of a restaurant that boasts of degustatory menus. You are better off staying in a 4 star hotel close to the city, which I did before. The food in the 4 star hotels is more authentic of Swiss cuisine and the quality much better and you are close to shops. Distance is not a problem as transport in Geneva is easy and free.

Theirs bedbugs in room, the cooling system not working properly the stuff in the room serves they are not nice, the managment careless I take one suite and 2 rooms they don't reply for my request and other things.

Away from the centre, not too far. It is between the lake and Palexpo. The hotel has a very good lake view at high floor. Service is fantastic. No indoor pool. Outdoor pool only opens seasonal.

Very clean hotel with very friendly staff. Victor at the reception was very helpful. Nice swimming pool with veey ckean changing area. Breakfast was very good. If is not in the city centre but very easy public transport with the bus stop just next to the hotel. Bus journey to the centre is only 10 minutes. Nation square is 2 minutes walking from the hotel. Our room was very clean with very nice view.
