Amazing View of Victoria Harbour”
When I traveled to Hong Kong this summer, I stayed at Intercontinental Hong Kong. Intercontinental Hong Kong's location is very near from MTR East Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit J2. Overall I am very satisfied with the services given by the staff at the front desk. They are very helpful. At the first day I stay there, I can enjoy free welcome drink at the hotel's lounge and we can see the amazing view of Victoria Harbour. I could choose some of drink and i decided to drink red wine and white wine. And I get free membership of Intercontinental around the world and get free voucher for buffet at Intercon Taipei and China. The room is large and cozy with twin beds. The bathroom is very comfortable. I was very enjoy staying at Intercontinental HK and will stay again when I visit HK.
lovely hotel and nice service”
the location of the hotel is so convenient, the subway is just in front of the hotel, 5 minutes from you room door, and the hotel is right next to the tsim sha tsui shopping area you just need to go across the street to enjoy the hong kong food and buy all the luxury brands. service is absolutely good there, always smiling at you, the harborside buffet, which is said to be the best buffet in hong kong, is worth the money, high quality french cheese, japanese tempura, fresh lobster and i remember 3 or 4 kinds of crabs and a large variety of deserts, absolutely make your stomach satisfied. we took the regular king bed the room, it is fairly big as compared the density of the city itself, and my cousins they took the harbor view room, the view was so amazing in the day and night, definitely will take that next time.
Stayed at this hotel with my family during Jan 24th - Jan 26th, 2017. We had a pleasant stay at InterContinental Hong Kong. Pros: This hotel has a spectacular view of the Victoria Harbor and the HK Island both from the Lobby Lounge and the rooms facing the Harbor. The staff was very professional, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious (by HK standard). The breakfast was delicious with an unobstructed view of the Victoria Harbor. The location was awesome! There were numerous shopping malls, restaurants and attractions within 10-minute walking distance from the hotel. The dinning was great too. The Yan Toh Heen Chinese Restaurant is a recipient of 2 Michelin Stars (with a price tag to match). Cons: This hotel was built in 1980. Although it is well maintained, it is somewhat old. Wears and tears can be found pretty much anywhere. Conclusion: A great (but somewhat old) hotel with excellent service, professional staffs, convenient location and spectacular view.
Luxurious hotel, ugly façade, best view in Kowloon”
Overall, I was quite pleased with our stay at the Hong Kong Intercontinental. The rooms are understatedly luxurious, with enormous bathrooms with both a shower and a bathtub. We had a room with a harbor view and incredibly comfortable king size bed and the hotel offers a “pillow menu,” which is great. We also appreciated the complimentary tea service upon arrival, or in this case, we saved the option for when we ordered room service the next morning. The hotel staff were appropriately attentive and quick, both at the room and near the pool. Speaking of which, the three infinity pools are half the reason why people stay at the Intercon, right? The gym, spa, and pools are all located on the 3rd floor of the hotel. I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to work out, but there was a good number of machines and decent-looking equipment in the gym. Once you exit the spa/gym area, and the first pool you encounter is the 20 meter (cold) swimming pool. This is a nice place, but what everyone is really interested in are the infinity pools overlooking Victoria Harbour. There are three pools – one hot, one warm, and one cold. The pools are actually quite a bit smaller than they look in the photo; the promo photo shown is actually of the private infinity pool belonging to the Presidential Suite. Nevertheless, it is quite pleasant to sit in the infinity pools, watching tourists work up a sweat on the sidewalk below you, boats sailing across the Harbour, drink in hand. There was only one downside of staying at the Intercon, and that is that wireless internet is NOT included. This is ridiculous. If I am paying $500/night for a hotel room, you’d better be throwing some free Internet in there. If you want to cough up the extra money for Internet, it costs $20 USD/day (total rip off). That a hotel of this caliber would not provide free Internet incurs some serious demerits in my book; it would be a serious deterrent to staying here in the future.
Professional and very friendly service”
I arrived in the morning at 10 am at the hotel. I requested an early check-in at the spot and they approved it even with an upgrade to a bigger room. The staff at the hotel seemed well-trained and they deal with any matters in a professional manner. The location of the hotel is within acceptable walking distance from the central of tsim sha tui. The view from the room (even it wasn't the 'harbour view' room) was fantastic just apart from the construction site right behind the swimming pool. They also allowed me to check-out late without a moment of hesistance. I will definitely come back to this hotel if I travel in Hong Kong again.
Good location for site-seeing and shopping”
I checked into the InterContinental Hong Kong in Kowloon after spending two nights at the Hilton Conrad across Hong Kong bay. The room was very nice although not as spacious but then again I wasn't planning on spending much time in the room while I was there. The pool was one of the best features and the pool staff made you feel welcome and were eager to get any amenity to make your stay more enjoyable. View from the hot tub can not be beat especially at night. I would definitly stay at the InterContenintal Hong Kong again if given the chance.
Nice and big room”
i always take this hotel when i came to hong kong, it is the best hotel and my favourite hotel in tsim sha tsui. this hotel is nearby train station, it is easily to go anywhere.nice view in room , and their service is very good.
Best hotel experience in Hong Kong”
I have traveled to Hong Kong twice a year for the past 10 years, and this is my second time staying at InterContinental. I have to say that InterContinental is the best one by far. Signed up for the IHG Membership (which is free)and our room was upgraded to a very nice corner room with 180 view of Hong Kong. Received free club lounge access, free drinks at the lobby lounge, and free wifi!! Very hospitable staff and assist us with our dinner reservations and other travel arrangements.
Service at the Intercontinental is First Class. The beds are extremely comfortable. The King harbour Deluxe room gave us an amazing unimpeded view of Hong Kong Harbour. Wonderful experience - If we can get a good rate through Agoda again - we would certainly back again. It is no wonder that the Intercontinental is always up at the top of the hotels to stay in Hong Kong.
Ours experience in the interContinental hotel”
Always we had known that the perfection does not exist, but we found it in our stay in the InterContinental hotel hong Kong. Because when we are far from house we wish receive the same treatment. That is the exactly that provide the hotel InterContinental to us. The food were delicious, the room was clean, comfortable, the personnel are qualified, in short, they have a perfect cordination between all the points and this is important.
Always a great experience!”
Still our favorite hotel in Hong Kong after 20 years of visits! The Intercontinental is breath-taking..located in the most perfect spot on the harbor's edge...Large and perfectly equipped rooms...huge bathrooms, wonderful service...freindly staff...infinity pool with the best views in the world...Visiting this hotel reminds us of what real luxuiry is! IT only gets better every visit!
Great place with amazing views”
Harbour view rooms offer absolutely amazing view of Hong Kong skyline. Room is super clean and all services are just perfect. Be aware, that Avenue of Stars and Tsim Tsa Tsui promenade are blocked until may 2018 due to construction works. All the rest is wonderful!
Strategy location for see scenery of Hong Kong”
1) It is a fantastic and memories able expericence to stay in InterContinental Hong Kong Hotel. 2) Superb service during CNY period. All staff service level above customer expectation. 3) Hotel is located in strategy location especially for view CNY fireworks.
The best hotel in HK”
Intercontinental hotel is one of the best hotels in Hong Kong because of its perfect location, picturesque harbor view, polite and all-foresee staff and very good restaurants as wellas a wine bar with a marvelous selections of wines. I stay only in this hotel in HK 4-5 times a year and not going to change my mind. Recommend both for business and leisure trips.
Great Service with a smile and luxury”
We booked two rooms, superior room with plaza view and superior room with harbour view. The harbour view got upgraded two level up into Junior Suite, thanks to my ambassador membership. The junior suite is very spacious, with integrated living room and working desk and large bathroom with jacuzzi bed tub. Fresh fruit on the first day, but they sent another bowl when we requested for the 2nd day. Toiletries are L'occitane which is nice. THe junior suite is located at the hook of the building, facing partial harbour view and plaza view through full wall window. The service is excellent, check in and check out was very fast and we were always greeted with smile. There is complimentary Yoga and Taichi classes in the morning. The location is a bit off from the crowds, so its quite a walk to get decent local restaurant and shopping mall at the opposite of the street. But its right at avenue of stars, the most popular tourist spot at Hong Kong. You should try the infinity pool / jacuzzi that has 3 temperature, cold, hot and warm In Summary, excellent hotel, you get what you pay for.
Nice and Clean hotel with great location”
This hotel is well maintained with very friendly stuffs and a clean room. It is walking distance to Tsim Tsa Tsui and has a very nice view of Hong Kong Harbour front.
Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
This was my first trip to Hong Kong. When I checked in the hotel, a staff recommended me room upgrade. I decided room upgrade. The room a staff recommended me faced harbor. It was very nice location. So I could see a million‐dollar view of Hong Kong at night. It was so excellent. And room upgrade plan also included some extra services. Anyway, I took a wonderful time in the Hotel.
Intercontinental - The best harbour views”
In my opinion this is one of the best hotels in Hong Kong. The view of the harbour is amazing and its position is perfect. The swimming pool is also a must see as there are heated pools overlooking the harbour which are warm enough to enjoy even on the coldest days and nights. It also has one of the few roof top bars in Hong Kong (although this shuts at 10pm) which is a bonus if you are a smoker. Overall, i loved it as much this time as the first.
Very helpful staff, great facilities and spa”
My husband and I chose this hotel for a staycation to celebrate our anniversary. Staff were very helpful and gave us personal attention throughout our stay. We appreciated the central location and stunning views of Hong Kong island and Victoria harbour, which we enjoyed at the lobby lounge, the infinity jacuzzi pool and in our room. I also had the best massage for years at the hotel spa. While the building is slightly dated, and there is construction next doors (though nearly complete), the hotel remains nicely decorated, clean and welcoming. We would definitely come back for another stay.
very nice room!”
This hotel is located at great location, near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station , all famous shopping malls and ferry boat terminus, you can go anywhere you want.
