Staffs not nice at all”
Old hotel and good location
I was a grandmother with one nine year old. The staff was wonderful, value excellent. Lovely. The pool is spectacular. An all around terrific experience. Did I mention the buffet breakfast? Also terrific.
Excellent hotel. The location is probably the best you can find in Chicago.
The staff service was slow. but the rooms were good
Great location, hotel slightly outdated”
Generally this property is pretty nice, and the location is great. The staff is helpful and friendly. I would recommend staying here. The only downsides are that while the hotel is clean and does not feel old, the decor is a bit outdated, and it doesn't feel as hip as the Intercontinental hotels outside of the US.
a great hotel if your visiting Chicago. The staff is very nice the hotel is clean the rooms are ample
great location, fantastic room and excellent service!
Awesome, their reception person is amazing and friends. Self car parking is costly while those people are super slow and make u feel like you are retaining ur car from police custody. Amazing food n nice complementary Ccd coupon.
Great hotel, highly recommended ”
This is a great hotel, in a very nice location in downtown Chicago, on the Magnificent Mile. I was upgraded to a very nice room, stuff is very attentive and polite. Highly recommended
The hotel is right smack in the middle of magnificent mile. The lobby is just small and crowded.
The location is fine.”
Best Place to travel Chicago downtown”
it looks like old building, but in side is very clean and beautiful. and crew's service is perfect.
We spent 3 nights and enjoyed our stay at this hotel
More Impressed with Self than Trying to Impress th”
Our family annual get together had a good time at this hotel because it was VERY. conveniently located for our shopping trip. However our interactions with the bellman on arrival and the check in clerk were less than stellar. Both with snippy if not down right rude. Our family members travel a fair amount globally so being snapped at by bell men or the reception clerk, both in the space of ten minutes did not sit well. Nevertheless, the rooms are reasonable sized, our 2-double bed rooms had VERY comfortable beds, the bathrooms were very clean and had great water pressure even on the 24th floor. Oddly, there did not not seem to be a standard number of towels per room, for example 4 bath towels 2 hand towels 1 washcloth in one room, 2bath towels 2 hand towels, no wash cloth in another. Could be a great hotel if they paid attention to the small things. The other oddity is that they don't seem to tell their guests about their historic past - you have to find out on your own about Johnny Weismuhler swimming in the pool.
Best in Chicago”
This was such a perfect place for us to stay. Being close to EVERYTHING meant that we were able to go out and enjoy the sights and if we needed to come back and thaw out for a bit, it was always so close. And we definitly needed to thaw out plenty of times!
Very enjoyable stay in downtown Chicago”
Perfect holiday stay in downtown Chicago
Bad welcome for Agoda Booking”
Welcome was worst we got in our 4 week trip of USA. Person on reception was behaving with us like Agoda is not paying any money to them, even though we have confirmed booking for 3 people with breakfast they said , whether breakfast id for 1/2/3 person will be decided in morning only. There rule of charging money even if you touch room bar things (eatable and drinks) for 30 second is very unprofessional and a harassment to resident. Will like to mention that all other staff except reception people was very cordial and helpful specially person at concierge.
Great hotel. Large rooms, great staff”
We had a great experience with this hotel. Large rooms, good free breakfast, amazing location, and has a Starbucks right in the hotel! Had a few minor things needed in the room or to be fixed and they had a worker within minutes, very impressed.
