A stand out hotel experience”
My wife and I stayed here for three nights during our month-long trip to Japan. We were mostly staying in mid-range accommodation for our trip, so we decided to stay a night at the InterContinental Osaka for a treat. It was amazing. Upon checkin, the super friendly staff upgraded us to a corner suite, which had the most incredible views of the Osaka cityscape. As soon as we saw the room, we immediately booked two more nights – it was literally that good. The room was HUGE, with a true king bed (not two single beds pushed together) looking out at the city and the river. The bathroom had a big deep bathtub with a tray so you could take a bath, enjoy a cup of tea, and stare at the view. The room wasn’t ultra-modern, but had more of a classic look with tasteful artworks and furnishings. It was all kept impeccably clean by the housekeeping staff. The buffet breakfast was possibly the best hotel breakfast experience I have ever had – it was a true five star dining experience. It is worth going to bed hungry, just so you can wake up and actually do justice at a breakfast like that. The dining room has floor-to-ceiling windows, with amazing views. The staff were particularly outstanding, friendly and attentive without getting in your way. The only downside is that if you stay at a place like this, it’s going to ruin everywhere else for you. Once you’ve tasted luxury, it’s hard to go back.

The Intercontinental Osaka is a perfect luxury hotel. You get what you pay for here - great service; a clean, well-appointed room and luxury amenities. The location is within the shopping mall complex that is connected to the main train station so its very convenient for getting around town. Staff were really helpful when we needed to check in early and gave us a room upgrade with a better view which we appreciated!

GORGEOUS HOTEL!!!”
This was one of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed in. The views were magnificent and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was modern chic. The only drawback is that when you want to go to the spa in your yukata, you have to pass the front desk in order to get on the elevator.

Terrific experience ”
One if the best hotel I've stayed in. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment, which had a large living/dining room and kitchen. Huge windows that have a terrific view of Osaka. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The Umeda station is around 10mins walk from the hotel, and lots of shopping malls and department stores around. The only problem was the price of the room was quite high.

Superb hotel, great location with friendly staff”
We really enjoyed out stay. The location was great. As soon as you come out of the airport you can get Bus no 5. Someone was there to help us and buses run very regularly. The bus took us to umeda station and we had a 5 minute walk which was fine with luggage. There is a limousine service from the hotel is you prebook. They took us back in our return journey for free. The hotel is very new, rooms are a big size and breakfast was plenty with a wide choice. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka. Pool staff were very helpful and the pool was never too busy. I loved the hotel :)

Pleasant and convenient”
2 nites in Intercontinental Osaka. Coming from Tokyo using JR Shinkansen, U will stop in Shin-Osaka and u change train to Osaka Station. From Osaka station you can get to the hotel by going through underground passage. All the info counters able to speak English to guide you to the hotel. In Japan they are very strict with their check-in and check-out time. If u are late in your check out u need to pay extra. The hotel is very new and modern, interior design is very chic and room is comfortable. But I Prefer room in St Regis Hotel Osaka. Location is so perfect if shopping is what u want to do in Osaka. Four shopping building join together. U need not go out if there is snow storm. surrounding shops are like their beauty shops, ramen shop and izakaya. Didn't try two of their restaurants, a French restaurant and a buffet lounge. I definetly will stay in this hotel again for their location.

Very good location near the Osaka Umeda station. The hotel has good facilities with indoor hot swimming pool, spa facilities and gym. They provide swim wear and gym attire for free. The staffs are friendly, helpful and speak good English. Room layout is ideal and cleanliness tip top. They take feedback positively and seriously, their service recovery is even better than our SQ airline. Indeed worth praising.

From the tastefully decorated rooms and hotel interiors, perfect location (adjacent to the Grand Front and close to the metro and train stations) and excellent english-speaking staff, we couldn't ask for more. Staying at the Intercontinental Osaka was one of the highlights of our trip!

One of the best in Osaka ”
I extended my trip so after coming back from Kobe and also st Regis in Osaka . We found a room at intercon again. One reason ... Well it's cheaper than st Regis ... I would say value for money both hotel are good ... And I shouldn't compare both in this comment . But let me tell u Y this place is good . First stay ... Normal room which is Hugh ... I never and cannot stay at room smaller than 25 sqm so this room here is like almost 50 sq.m When we check in 2nd time ... We somehow got upgrade to a twice bigger room I think it must be some executive suite with club benefit as it was on club floor ... NO one a informed us that we were upgraded or got club benefit ... But somehow ... We kinda know after we got into our room... Think it seems 100 sqm ! Rooms were awesome at 50 sqm and it was perfect at 100 sqm .. Club is one of the best anywhere as I tried many club rooms at others around the world ... And the quality that comes close is only the langham in HK ... Free flow champagne , all those small bites , good selection of sake , wine , and really good staff .. Asked them about restaurants from my room ( concierge ) when I informed them I will go to club before go out to dinner ... Maps and info are send to club staff and I was attended there without going to lobby and ask concierge ... Definitely one of the BEST hotel and service anywhere ... And I do a travel show for 10 years !! 👍👌

very nice! i recommend strongly. if you have a chance to visit Umeda Osaka it couldn't be better. it's new one. it's opened this year. you have to check the price first. it;s not cheap one. except that, you are satisfied a lot. don't hesitate! just go and have fun! additionally it is great spot shopping, eating, watching, sleeping. what else do we need?

A very fantastic hotel. Beautiful design. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Quick check in and out. The room is very big and the bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is very big with full facilities. Very relax to stay in this hotel. Very convenient to shopping and eating. There are lots of restaurant in Grant Front Osaka and some open till 4am. I will definitely come to this hotel in my next trip.

Perfect!!!”
The Hotel is situated at a convenient location, with bridges connecting to Osaka JR Station. It's just a 10 minutes walk at most. The breakfasts at NOKA and dinners at PIERRE were very good. The staff spoke very good English and were very friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the room was spacious and clean. The room temperature and humidity was perfectly set.

Fantastic Hotel”
Our stay here was amazing. The room was gorgeous with every amenity you could imagine including a pod coffee machine and wonderful bathroom. It is located within the newly developed Grand Front area connected to Osaka Station so there was shopping and transport at our doorstep. The bathroom amenities were excellent. The staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. Great hotel!

Overall a very nice and positive experience. Will definitely book again next time in Osaka. I booked a room that is enough for a family of 3 and we were not disappointed. We stayed at the Club International floor and the rooms are big for a Japan's standards. The setup many decor just makes you feel you want to stay longer. We tried the breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail sessions for club international guests and it was simply great. After a long day walking and sightseeing, the afternoon tea session simply allows you to relax in calm with the nice view of the city. Staff are very attentive and helpful and professional.
