Great, thoughtful service”

All staff provided very good service, that was thoughtful. Particularly liked the French restaurant within the hotel. Quality of the room was very high.
None

Intercontinental Tokyo Bay hotel was conveniently located next to two train stations and right next to the cruises. The staff all spoke very good English and were very helpful. The Executive Club staff were particularly helpful and kind. They showed us the where to get a certain gift we were looking for in Ginza. We had dinner at the in-house French restaurant and the service they provided was fantastic. The food was exceptional, with unusual tastes and combinations explored in the delicate degustation menu. Overall, we had a fantastic time at the hotel.

Lovely hotel with great view”

Next to the water taxi (hirode?) and takeshiba monorail

It's definitely not the newest of hotels but it does have the intercontinental classy feel to it. Stayed in the tokyo bay view room on the 18th floor and stares straight at the rainbow bridge. tokyo tower can also be seen from my room on the side. Part Japanese culture, part Intercontinental, the service was impeccable, and very friendly. Depending on what's your budget and plans in tokyo, it's a good place to stay because it's close to the water taxi, takeshiba monorail is connected to the hotel on the 2nd floor, shuttle (or 10-15 mins walk) to the nearest JR/subway station (names too long to remember), certainly it's well connected, and close to areas like Ginza, Tokyo station, and the fresh seafood market (tsujiki?).

Home Away From Home”

Great location along Yurikamome

We've stayed at the Intercontinental Tokyo Bay many times over the years and have found that its location suits our needs perfectly. It's a luxury hotel slightly away from the hustle and bustle yet accessible by rail (a few minutes from the Yurikamome monorail line's Takeshiba Station). We've stayed in both river and bay view rooms and all are excellent. The staff is polite and professional and their recent lobby renovation was a nice surprise.

Superb Tokyo Bay view but inconvenient location”

Tokyo Bay View

InterContinental Tokyo Bay Hotel is located at Tokyo's waterfront area (New Pier Takeshiba). From here, you can see Tokyo Bay from two sides. One is city view that you can see sky tree tower very far away and another side is rainbow bridge, which is very beautiful at night time. Hotel service is excellent and superior room is quite spacious and clean. However, room price and breakfast are quite expensive. Hotel location is also not convenient as you need to connect with monorail line to connect with main subway. Also, there are a few restaurants and mini-marts which are around 5-minute walks from the hotel.

Surprise upgrade”

Free upgrade, attentive staff, good location

We arrived at the InterContinental for our last leg during our Japan holiday and were warmly greeted, upgraded and checked in within minutes! The staff were very attentive, helpful and spoke fluent English. The room was lovely with a great view across the bay and within walking distance to the rail connecting into Tokyo Metro. A fantastic end to a wonderful holiday.

Intercontinental Hotel Tokyo Bay Review”

Located right on bay, very spacious room, great bars and restaurant, flexibility to use breakfast voucher for lunch
intenet access expensive, no easy access by train from airport

Hotel standard reflects the price tag, great facilities, bars, restaurants, bar overlooking Tokyo Bay is really nice for couples. Room very comfortable, internet access too expensive, included breakfast provided facility to use voucher for lunch which was great.

Inflexibility for late check out

Good location in Ferry Harbour of Tokyo, great view over the bay. Spacious, clean and well maintained quited rooms. Very helpful staff, starting from bell boy, reception, restauants etc. Breakfast buffet comes in good variety, worthwhile to book room with breakfast when making a reservation.

Beautiful views and great service.”

Ample room size, great bed size and fantastic bathroom.

We were most impressed by the size of both the room and the king size bed. During our week long vacation,we had stayed at hotels that listed the rooms at larger than 23 sqm. None of the other rooms were as impressive and as well equipped. Again, the bathroom was very well done. The river view was panoramic and allowed us to see the sights of the city. I can just imagine what the Bay view would be like. Without a doubt, we would stay here again in the future.

Great Hotel!”

Wonderful ambiance! Elegant furniture, spacious lobby, happy, smiling staff members.
The location isn't the most ideal because we had to catch a taxi to go anywhere. We thought the prices at the restaurants were high so chose to dine off property.

We stayed in three hotels during our Japan vacation. This hotel was the most beautiful and elegant! The staff was always ready to help and were so friendly. We liked the fact that the staff spoke fluent English and acted in a very professional manner throughout our stay. We especially liked Ms. Komura who didn't just point us into the direction we should go but gladly accompanied us to those locations. We would unequivocably recommend the InterContinental Tokyo Bay to our friends.

"Having a date with Tokyo bay"”

Great views, friendly service
Room is a bit old, hotel is a bit far from JR station.

We stayed for one night. Initally, we had a room with view of Tokyo tower and Tokyo bay. Regardless, the view was excellent. It was really romatic just to sit inside the hotel and have a glass of red wine. Highly recommented for couples.

Great service”

professional, knowledgeable, curteous
bathroom with mold in shower, internet too expensive

The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. They handled my luggage transfer to Narita airport wonderfully. The room was clean always and the staff readily available. I think a little bleach spray here would go a long way. The daily charge for the internet for one computer (we had two and and iPhone) is a bit steep at for 24 hour period. I think internet should be included and you should be able to synch two computers and and iPhone to the same internet I think a hotel of this caliber should provide this as a service that is included int he room rate. Everything else was perfect.

Living up to its name”

Beautiful facilities, wonderful amenities and staff that you can`t fault

This is a beautiful hotel, and the experience begins with the welcome from the staff and your entry into the magnificent lobby. We had been staying in 3 or 4 star hotels so this came as quite a step up for us. Nothing was too hard, and customer service here is hard to match. Great rooms, fantastic views. My only gripe, the shuttle bus is really popular (we saw a couple of occassions where people were left behind) and if you miss it you`re in for a walk (or taxi). Highly recommended if you want a special stay.
