Great Service Hotel!”
Intimate Hotel Pattaya is very nice! As I drove into the parking lot of this hotel I felt welcomed. The hotel is located next to a shopping mall and about 6 to 9 min walk to the beach and about 20 mins to walking street. Check in was very easy and fast with lots of smiles and overall kindness from everyone. The pool was on the top floor with a lot of sun to enjoy and a swim up bar with a funny and polite Thai bar tender. The coffee shop in the lobby was nice with both good coffee and very inexpensive cake 45 B what a great deal! The included breakfast was not big but had everything needed to start the day. Rooms were good sized clean and well decorated the safe in the closet was easy to use. The walls were not thin like many other hotels in Thailand. The hotel is a real value for the money with much better service then the larger hotels in Pattaya.
Very Satisfied”
The Hotel is close to everything, There is a store, restaurants, and bars steps from the entrance, yet I found it very quiet for sleeping. There is also a Motorcycle Taxi Station a few steps from the entrance. The room is well appointed ahd has a well stocked mini-bar along with personal items, to include Condoms. There is easy access to banks, transportation, pharmacies, malls, clubs, nightclubs, and the beach. There is a direct walk to the beach within 5 minutes or you can go in any direction on second road and find just about all the entertainment, shopping, and dining choices one could stand. All this without paying premium prices (Keep in mid this is low season...July). The Buffet Breakfast is excellent with many choices for Eggs cooked to order, Bacon, Ham, Sausage, fried Potatoes, Toast, Coffee, Juices, Thai food items, to include Rice of course and more...Do you like Lobster? Then check out Tandalay on Walking Street. There is also an awesome Seafood Buffet restaurant on the 5th floor of Central Festival Mall. For relaxation and drinks...The Baraquda Hotel rooftop. I have stayed at The Hilton Pattaya, as well as Sandalay Resort, all on Beach Road with lovely views and I would definitely recommend Intimate Hotel for value, convenience, and overall cleanliness...I tipped the doorman several times. Additionally, My transportation back to the airport was arranged effortlessly by the Front Desk for 1500 Baht and my driver was prompt and courteous. And quick, he made the drive in about an hour and 15 :)
Reliable and value for money”
Stayed here for 2 nights, would definitely stay here again. Location is perfect; quite central in Pattaya, within walking distance to Walking Street, Central Festival Shopping Mall and the beach. Easy to locate. Staff were professional and paid attention to detail. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The rooftop swimming pool was a great place to spend the day and chill in the sun while downing some coldies next to the bar. Sure there are other places that are cheaper but for a complete Pattaya experience, can't go wrong with Intimate Hotel.
Fresh and Quite Styling Accomodations”
My stay at Tim Boutique (Soon to be Rebranded to the Intimate Hotel) was very relaxing. Staff was always very courteous and attendant to all my needs. I stayed in a Jaccuzi Room, and I highly reccomend them, they are spacious and unique. Located in Central Pattaya they are just two blocks from the Beach, One block to a nice Supermarket (Avenue Shopping Center. I will definately use the Intimate Hotel by Tim Boutique again as it was top notch!!
Very relaxing and enjoyable”
I had a great time at the Intimate Hotel. The staff were excellent and it is in a great location. I was a little concerned as some other reviews I had read said that it can be a bit noisy, but this wasn't an issue at all. I couldn't hear any outside noise at all when I was in my room. One minor issue was the shower. The water temperature was a inconsistent and would go from being a nice temperature to very hot and then back to a nice temperature again. It didn't bother me as I would just get out from under the water when it got too hot, but it may be a problem for some people. The rooftop pool is nice and there is a nice view from the rooftop as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to go to Pattaya and I will stay there again when I return later this year.
Great value and location”
Intimate Hotel is centrally located in Pattaya to 2nd road, the Avenue shopping mall, numerous eateries and a plethora of open air bars. The rooms are modern, come with a balcony, and the cost per night is very reasonable. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful so whether you're a solo traveler, couple or family the Intimate Hotel is great place to stay.
Great hotel in a good location”
Intimate Hotel is located right off 2nd Pattaya Road, with an easy walk to Beach Road. The staff is quick and efficient, the room was clean and comfortable, and the facility is great. There are nightclubs located close to the hotel so you might notice a little noise, but it definitely doesn't prevent you from getting a good night sleep. I will definitely return to this hotel and make it my first choice for any future trips to Pattaya.
Great Staff.”
From the moment of checking in I found Intimate Hotel excellent. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were big, clean and well furnished. Location is really good being close to the nightlife areas of Soi LK Metro, Soi Bukhao and easy walking distance to Beach Road. Breakfast was really good and many restaurants and bars in close vicinity. The hotel is guest friedly. I will definately be looking at Intimate Hotel again for my next visit to Pattaya.
Second stay”
After having a week at Koh Chang, I came back to Pattaya and stayed in the Intimate Hotel again. It appears they're refurbishing the rooms. First time I stayed on Floor 5 were the rooms were new. This time I was on floor 4 and the rooms were a little bit tired. Unfortunately the hotel was busy and I couldn't get an upgrade. Non the less, the hotel is clean, location is great for Central Pattaya and the staff are really helpful. The pool on floor 7 is great for swimming and cooling off There's a small bar and food service. Food was excellent. I'll stay again..
great hotel location metting all expectations”
tim boutique offered a central location and all of the features expected from a hotel in central pattaya. i enjoyed the pool and the restaurant that offred both western and local thai cuisine. i would recommend this hotel to single travelers vice ones with families. if you meet a companion while in pattaya, the hotel will not charge you any further guest fees. being located near walking street, i would advise that if you have a family i would suggest staying in north pattaya away from the night life to ensure a quieter stay. overally though i would stay here again during my next trip.
Quiet hotel in Pattaya”
Intimate hotel is a nice quiet hotel in Pattaya. The rooftop pool is really nice and has the best view of the city of any hotel I've stayed at. You can get to walking street pretty easily on a Baht bus for only 10 baht (30 cents USD). Near nice little bars, restaurants and street food. Also a short walk or baht bus ride to the central festival mall and Mike.
Wonderful and friendly place to stay”
Nothing negative to say about Intimate other than doors are very loud to close as they are locked all the time, ringing rooms on the floor are rather loud and disturbing, and there is NO free instant coffee in the room. You must pay 40 baht which is totally silly. I love the location, but it is NOT near the beach. 2nd road is probably the main road in the city and easy to get anywhere. Very nice shopping and restaurants nearby and hotel is on Soi 14, a dead end so very little traffic. You cannot find better and more friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is a little old, but a wonderful stay. I haven't stayed there for probably 10 years, but I will certainly do so again the next time I am in Pattaya. Nice quiet out of the way place but easy to get anywhere you want, unless it is to the beach with kids, then I would stay elsewhere.
New hotel with a touch of class”
My friends and I stayed in Tim Boutique hotel for two nights and we had an absolutely wonderful experience with this hotel. Although it is a boutique hotel don't let this fool you because it was quite big. One thing we all noticed was that the hotel lobby smelled nice and the a/c was very cool which was perfect after a long day at the beach. The rooms are big (ours was at least 50 sq. M.) and the bathroom had a separate jacuzzi aside from the shower. Despite the other reviews saying that it can get noisy at night, I did not experience this at all. I've had a very wonderful experience from this hotel and would recommend it to others. The one thing that I would have to mention is that it's a bit of a walk going to pattaya beach road. Maybe about 15 minutes, but I didn't really mind it because pattaya is bursting with life especially at night so plenty to look at.
Nice hotel, friendly staff.”
Firstly, this was the Tim Boutique and has now been re-branded as the Intimate Hotel. It still has the same great staff, great service and tidy rooms. The beds are huge, while you get a separate shower and bath tub in the bathroom. The only downside is the usual for Pattaya; you get charged for drinks you haven't had while the bathroom gels are all watered down and recycled. Internet is expensive and very slow but there are plenty of options locally.
Nice clean hote filled with freshness and style.”
For the price tag I paid, I didn’t expect anything less from this hotel than I got. It feels and looks like a properly managed hotel, clean rooms, convenient design, friendly and caring staff. The hotel has a very pleasant fresh aroma throughout so it’s a pleasure to walk in. Having said that, I wouldn’t stay again for the same money, and that’s why: a. Location: it’s pretty central, but whenever you go, it’s quite a long walk in Pattaya and most likely you will need to ride a bike anyway, so location is loosing its importance. b. I was unlucky to visit the hotel at the time when it was extended by adding a new building next to the main construction. Every morning started at 8am with terrible drilling and hammering sound. When I called reception, they imitated some confusion as if they weren’t aware where the noise is coming from, and then said they are fully booked and there are no rooms to relocate me. No discount or compensation was offered. I think a proper hotel would not use this whole wing during massive construction at all!
Snapshot of the Tim Boutique Hotel”
I am generally skeptical about products or services that only have good reviews and for the Tim Boutique Hotel I could find only vaguely positive comments. So for me that was a red flag. I did like the pictures and the location of the hotel so I initially only booked for two days. I figured, worse-case scenario is I hate it and move on to another hotel. I visited in February 2008. After my 19-hour flight from Canada I arrived at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised. My room was new, clean and spacious with lots of storage for a prolonged stay. A modern and elegant look that appealed to my love of design. The room had large tiled flooring that was cool to the touch and appropriate for a warm weather climate. In Thailand air-conditioning is mandatory and my room was easily adjusted to my comfort zone. The king-sized bed was firm but not stiff. The washroom included a large soaker tub and separate shower stall. A nice feature was an in-room safe that you can program. I was initially dubious about the safe and only put half my money in, but nothing went missing. I did have problems with opening the safe because the batteries for the digital control pad kept working themselves loose. A call to the front desk promptly brought help. The hotel staff was friendly and did their best to answer my questions. They do speak English, but it is not their native language so you do have to speak clearly and don’t use your American slang. In fact, of the three places I stayed in Thailand the Tim Hotel staff were indeed the most friendly. Incorporated in the room fee was breakfast which was a large and diverse buffet spread that included Thai and American cuisine. I was readily seated and served with coffee or tea. A nice touch, I thought. I started my days reading my novel underneath a beach umbrella by the rooftop pool. A small pool that I did not indulge in, but it was nice hideaway in the middle of the city. The hotel was on soi 14 off of 2nd Road Pattaya. So it is close to the
Exceptional”
The number of hotels in Pattaya is staggering and Intimate hotel is competing hard for your patronage by providing great service and value. The staff was great and the facilities are nice, but starting to look dated. The location is surrounded by everything a traveler would need but it is a loong walk to walking street, or a short walk and baht-bus ride away. I'd stay here again if I get a good nightly rate.
Great hotel”
Stayed at Intimate Hotel for a week to enjoy shopping and nightlife in Pattaya. The hotel is very close to Mike's shopping plaza and other shopping venues. Plenty of restaurants very close to the hotel. It's a block away from the beach, and a few blocks away from the nightlife (walking street). Customer service was very good and the hotel staff was very helpful.
Nice hotel, very friendly staff”
Hotel is located on Pattaya Sai 2 Road, its hotel signage is a bit small. Anyway, staff is very nice and friendly. Hotel room is clean and tidy, bath room is very big. This place is not far from The Avenue Pattaya, South Pattaya beach, Central festival Pattaya Beach and Walking Street. Good Location with affordable price.
only place to stay in pattaya!”
Having been to pattaya 6 times...this was my first stay in Tim's. I wish I had found it prior. This is the best place in pattaya. The location is close to everything, but not so close that you are kept up all night with loud music. The hotel rooms are very nice/clean, comfortable. The staff was the best! Always willing to help with questions, directions, etc. This is a very professionally run hotel, and at a price that is very reasonable. I did not eat at the hotel, but a friend of mine did, and he said the food was both good, and much variety. There is also ample parking for motorbikes right outside the front door...so it is an extremely good choice for both single and family travelers.
