Great staff, nice location, fit my needs”
I'm a no thrills kind of traveller that shoots for between 20to30dollars a night. As long as the bed is comfortable, with good AC, good wifi and a nice shower then I am happy. The only thing the hotel lacks is a safe in the room but other than that, the staff are so helpful, nice swimming pool, billiards table. Located at end of main street through Puerto Princessa so you can take a nice walk onwards the hustle and bustle (5 to 10 minutes) passing all the restaurants and bars as you walk to the main crossroads. Nice and quiet down a small side street. Highly recommended.

Super nice staff and great hotel for the price”
The staff here are super friendly and helpful. great swimming pool and has a billiards table in common area. Breakfasts are standard Filipino fare but you can ask for something else that is not too extravagant for example I asked for an omelette and they were happy to help at no extra charge. Locate at the end of the main street so it is nice to walk from this hotel up into the main area and be away from the bustle. There is a motorbike rental shop 2 minutes walk from hotel for 500 pesos per day. Bikes are brand new and the older ones are very well maintained.

The rooms are on the small side. The bathroom is smaller. Everything was clean though. The location is great! Rent a scooter next door and go. The staff are great- they care and it shows.

Very strange hotel!!!”
No food available after breakfast! Had to move rooms because of music and loud singing from street which stpoppef at 3am. Second room still old! Curtains had no blackout material so light very early!! Saw one guest the whole time there. Very quiet. I’ve been staying in hostels on my travels and this was the worst place I’d stayed!!

Enjoyed our stay at Ipil Suites Puerto Princesa which is nicely located in town off the main road near the airport, nice restaurants, and a few massage and spa places. Must check out Kalui restaurant for lunch or dinner!!! Front desk can make reservation for guests. You can comfortably walk to restaurant in ten mins or take a tricycle. We were told by staff that hotel about 6 years old, but it looks nicely maintained. We booked into a standard room with a double bed. Room was small and bathroom a bit cramped, but it was clean and comfortable. Hotel offers free buffet breakfast (served on the 4th floor) with good selections, also offers free WiFi, but were told that WiFi weak in guest rooms, better in Reception area. There is a nice pool, gym with a few exercise equipment, and a restaurant, all in the main level. We booked the Underground River Cruise through Ipil Suites and had a very early pick up of 630am, which was tight because their free buffet breakfast starts at 6am and hotel couldn't grant our late check out request. However, they were so nice to have our luggage stored and organised for us to be able to use a room to shower when we returned from the tour so we can be fresh and clean for our evening flight. We also came back earlier than expected from the tour, so we visited Venus Health Spa down the road to kill time. PPS airport only 3 minutes away, so we only wished the hotel had an airport shuttle available at least 7-7:30pm for those with late flight departures. Although airport shuttle is free, it is only available at specific times with only 6 trips scheduled through the day, the last one being 6pm. Unfortunately, PPS airport does not offer much, apart from seats and very few overpriced shops and it would have been good if we could have used those hours waiting at the airport to have an early dinner at some restaurant nearby before heading to the airport. Four Day Getaway.”
Ipil Suties was a welcoming sight after our trip from the airport. It's in a quiet location which is a really nice change from the bustle of the city. Not only that, going to the hubbub of Puerto Princesa is a breeze. Staff are really switched on with a friendly,casual, courteous approach; but there's no laziness in their conduct. Wherever we looked or went, the facilities were clean, tidy & well maintained. Our room was spacious and most comfortable. Service during our stay was first rate and the food we consumed was plentiful and fresh. Very happy during our four days there and will return to Ipil Suites again should we return to Palawan. That is certainly a given!!

Very Accommodating Staff and Near the Airport”
The hotel is very near the airport but the management will still bring you by car, free of charge, thereat. This is a good thing. The staff are very accommodating and will go out of their way to meet your needs. The room we stayed at is also clean. I booked a standard room and I find that the toilet is a little bit small, but there is hot water shower, so I am fine with it. Ipil Suites is named from a native Philippine hardwood tree-Ipil, which is abundant in Palawan. The staircases and other furniture of Ipil Suites are made of ipil wood, hence, its name. The wood makes Ipil Suites homey. I am partial to hotels with hardwoods as I grew up in an old house with big planks of wood flooring. Ipil Suites is not located along the main road, but it's a stone throw away. There are restaurants and native craft stores along its vicinity. I will recommend Ipil Suites for comfort and ease of transport to and from the airport and other tourist attractions.
