Two adult men went there. We weren't trying to ignore women, but the safety in this neighborhood is really bad. There were about five homeless grandfathers sitting right in front of the hotel door, drinking and smoking all night long, and I saw three grandfathers who were drunk and fell on the street in the morning after drinking for three days. A Korean woman also stayed at the hotel, and we happened to come out of the hotel together, but a homeless person immediately started a fight with her. There is really nothing to do in the surrounding neighborhoods. Considering these things, if you are looking for a cheap trip and want to be close to Namba, it is really good. However, since it is a shared shower room, women may feel more uncomfortable. It was good to stay cheaply, but I don't think I will stay here on my next trip.

The price is not very expensive, it is considered very cheap if you stay with many people (6 people in one room). The room is very clean and tidy. There is only one receptionist, but it's not a big deal because we only stayed there to sleep. The bathroom is shared, but it's better than having a private bathroom because if there is only one bathroom, there will be a long queue for 6 people. But in this case, 3 people can use it at a time. The location is in the staff clearance zone, there are some old people and drunk people around, but it's not a big problem. It's located near Chinatown, only a 10-minute walk away. There is also a branch of "Dong Kee" restaurant nearby, which is a 10-minute walk away. I really like it and will stay there again.

This is what I love about this hotel. Aside from being affordable, it is just a few minutes walk going to Shin-Imamiya & Dobutsuen-Mae Subway stations. It has Family Mart nearby too. I find the place safe even if there's a lot of Izikayas around. People in Japan are harmless. You might see them drunk most of the time but they're harmless. It has Don Quijote near Shin-Imamiya station too. And it's manageable to walk going to Shinsekai market. Frontdesk is not 24 hours on duty so if you came late, you must do the self-service check-in which is easy to follow. They will provide you instructions on what to and the code to press for you to be able to enter the premises. The room has no toilet and bathroom, but rather a common one but it's so clean and tidy, so there's nothing to worry about. If I'll be visiting Osaka again, I'll consider to stay here again. And before I forgot, I don't like the tone of voice of the male frontdesk officer who assisted me when I need to recheck-in to a different room. It's kinda condescending, unlike the girl frontdesk officer who tried her best to relay to me the right message in English and still at her best behavior.

Location - quiet area with lot of seniors/ drunk/ homeless?? 5-8mins near Dobutsuen Mae station and Shin imamiya station. You can also walk going to Tsukenkaku Tower, it will take you 15 mins to go there. Rooms - It’s good for it’s price. The sheets are clean. As for the space, you will have a hard time opening your luggages, the room is best for backpackers. N they don't provide coffee but they do provide washing machine, dryer will be 100yen... The man toilet on level 4 is totally disgusting, they really need a mega renovation on it.... Take note as that the staffs will not be there all the time but they are friendly The rooms are not sound proof, there 1 night with some Japanese students chatting n laughing loudly away in the middle of the night till early morning n U could hear it .. Personally with the price paid, I would recommend other guest houses like the Sunplaza nearby which charge almost the same price n much comfortable there
