    Best hotel in Iriga”

Not the kind of hotel that will really wow you, but this is probably the best one in Iriga City as the few other options in the city center are disappointing. Location is great, near the public market, the plaza, and the church! Facilities are okay, but are a bit outdated. Room size is better than expected. Price is reasonable.

    Could be much better”

Iriga Plaza Hotel could be an excellent hotel. My last stay (01/14-20 2019) was disappointing that I moved three (3) times. In the first room, the AC stopped working and water started dripping on the cabinet underneath it. The toilet in the second room stopped working. So on my last night I moved to my 3rd room. All three rooms did not have hot shower. All three rooms I have to run the water for about 15-20 mins until it was clear. All three rooms only have bed, chair, and table. Each stay comes with free simple breakfast. The staff headed by Ma'am Ge(raldine) was very responsive and friendly but apologetic for all the inconveniences. They did their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible. They are outstanding. Geraldine assures me they are in the process of improving ACs, water supply, hot showers, other basic amenities. I advised Miss Geraldine to improve Iriga Plaza Hotel if it desires to attract guests; locals and foreigners alike. Thanks Miss Ge'! Watch "The Choice!"

    pleasant stay”

Bellmen were great always helpful and quick. Room nicely maintained by housekeeping. Good location

A package of mine that was delivered by the front desk went missing. Staff was told that it was ours but the package was not identified. None was particularly helpful, all were apologetic though; if that means anything. Everyone was very nice, but I would focus on training the front desk staff so that they can be more knowledgable. I would like pesos available at all times, especially when a large group is there. I wish that they would have had internet access in our rooms. This is important in this day and age. The breakfast situation needs to be more efficient especially with a group that needs to eat at 6am. A safe, blow dryer and better towels would be a nice addition to the rooms. All that being said we enjoyed ourselves at the Iriga Plaza and thought that everyone was pleasant and tried to be helpful.

    A not-so-good experience”

Staff is courteous and very friendly in fact. Problems started piling up as soon as we got to our room. Bedsheets and pillow cases had stains. On our last day, we were shocked when dirty water started coming out of the shower and the toilet. Very disappointed at this. We expected more from a hotel like Iriga Plaza Hotel. The experience was a letdown.

It was exactly what I needed. ”

    Location, cleanliness, Helpful staff

It is a small town hotel but certainly the nicest in the area. It is located right in the city center and in walking distance to good local restaurants, shopping, parks and banking. Across the park is the big town amphitheater, which had beauty pageants going on while I was there. It is not a luxury hotel but it has all the basic necessities to make it a comfortable stay, air conditioning, clean linens and a delicious breakfast. I stayed in a single room which was small but it cooled down really quickly when I came in from walking around in the humidity. The staff was always available and always helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

I won't give this hotel even a 1 star rating! It is in need of complete refurbishment. it's very ill- equipped
and very ill- maintained. The rooms were dirty, the bathrooms were mouldy and its way over- priced for such condition not to mention that there no bar fridges in each room! The place itself still has very good potential if the management mentality is to do good business.
We stayed in rooms 104, 107 and 109, from Tues 11 July until Thurs13 July .
Room 104, which was occupied by my brother had a leak in the ceiling and the toilet was not flushing !😡 All 3 rooms were dirty and dusty. I doubt if the bedsheets and towels were even washed at all since there were
other hotel guests who complained about not having towels in their rooms. When they complained the reception staff said that they have been having laundry problem due to their washing machines not functioning well!
In this age and time. this kind of bad business should be obsolete but Iriga Plaza Hotel still doing prim

Our Summer Stay in Iriga Plaza”

hotel location is very accessible to any transportation available in the area. Rooms and toilets are clean and clean towels are always available. Hotel staffs were courteous and very helpful.

Generally, our stay was pleasant and comfortable. However, there are minor things that hotel management may take note: 1. Bidet should be installed in the toilet. 2. Free WIFI should be made available in the rooms not just on selected areas of the hotel.

Liked the atmosphere. Only thing I didn’t like at all was that you have to go outside your room to get WiFi. Being a traveler who depends on WiFi is a big negative when you can’t relax in your air conditioned room and use the WiFi.

    Not ready for emergencies”

There was a major typhoon during our stay and on the first day the hotel didn't have generator for electricity, water in the toilets and even food. They just provided us with drinking water. The generator was only fixed the next day. Housekeeping has a cut off at night which is really weird. Anyway, we don't have much choice on hotels in the area so we would probably book again and just hope that there will be no more emergencies that will happen...

    Room for improvement”

The friendliness of the staff, the location, cleanliness.

It was a lot less than I expected. The fact that in the 21st century there was no internet connection available whatsoever made communication for travellers impossible. The main hotel communial areas (lobby, corridors etc) had no air conditioning so was impossible to use. The dining/restaurant seriously lacked a proper chef/cook and the food, especially breakfast, was boring, minimal and of poor quality. Unsufficient staff used for the dining room when the hotel had a number of guests (I waited 30 minutes to be seated at a clean table). On the positive side, the staff tried their best and were very helpful and friendly and should be commended as such. Overall suggestions for improvement: move into the 21st century and offer better facilities.

Locked out of the room. Dirty and not good for young children”

We booked 3 rooms as i was with my siblings and cousing visiting on november 1st. I initially requested early check in as we will be driving from manila. But we arrived in this hotel at exactly 2pm check in time as we visited nearby relatives as well beforehand. When we got there, the receptionist can only find 2 of my booked rooms. I was having a hard time accessing my bookings in the app due to no internet connection even if i already connected to their own wifi. The poor internet connection i can understand but the missing 1 more room booking confirmation i cannot understand. So the last room which was a the twin room was already given to my cousins at 4pm. We went to our room with no towels available. I had to use my dirty clothes so we could take a bath and sleep before going to the cemetery. We were given our towels at 5pm. The rooms were so dirty. The first room i got was with a big pillow stain. Reason i said the “first room” was because at 12:30am when we got back to the hotel from the cemetery visit we got locke out of our room because the door system failed. We literally cannot open the door using the key cards. At 1am they were trying to talk to us to transfer to another room. Yes definitely they should be arranging a room transfer for us as i am with my 5 yr old son who might possibly get locked in the room if we will stay in that room. But we had to get our things inside that room first. My son literally cried because he thought he will not be able to get his tiger stuffed toy that was left inside the room. They had to go through the window to open the door. And we were able to transfer rooms at 2am we were able to sleep at 3am. It was such a horrible stay. We were so exhausted from the long 12 hrs drive from manila and yet we cannot get our money’s worth. We even paid for an extra mattress for one room for 700pesos. We did not receive any compensation for all the hassle we got from this hotel. When we transferred to the only room available that night
