Good hostel with great hang out areas and friendly staff”
The hostel has great vibes and the staff members are great. The facilities, showers, kitchen etc were pretty good. They’ve got a fantastic kitchen. The rooms themselves were a little dark and the beds were pretty old and worn, not super comfortable. The showers were annoyingly on another level to where all the rooms are but that’s really down to pragmatism based on space in Tokyo.

Meet Young Mature Locals To Mingle Casually on 1st or 7th Floor with Useful Kitchen Facility”
In Japan, the 1st Floor is the G/F for those countries coming from ex British colonies. It is rather easy and near to find from the nearest subway station of Bakurocho via JR Line or Asakusa Line to Higashi Nihonbashi Station. Close to a 7-11 and Mini Stop Convenience store and nearby local eateries. Staff are English speaking, helpful and friendly. I like the 2 small Barbecue stoves in the Lobby with mini Cafe to mingle with young locals or the 7th Floor 24-hour Kitchen to do the same. The female hostel were quiet and clean except there are no place to keep our shoes outside the room. There are lockers by the elevator to keep personal stuff if needed. You need to bring your own towel and slippers though as its not provided. There are outdoor space for you to hang your laundry also. Nice cool casual hostel for young and old to mingle with locals. I would return if I am in Higashi-Nihonbashi area again in Tokyo.

nice social hostel a bit outside of tokio center”
Very nice staff And i loved the kitchen and social area as well as the small rooftop garden! Bathrooms unfortunately only on 6th floor Dorms are ok, beds are a bit shaky and its quite tight in the rooms. I was unlucky and had many noisy people in the dorm at night but thats not the hostels fault! All over I had a great stay here and would come back 😊

Great staff, great atmosphere ”
The people here were incredibly polite and engaging in a way that was above and beyond expectations, even for the high standard of Japanese generosity and patience. An employee named Yuki was so kind and welcoming to me at check in and eased my mind about my first hostel stay, he even showed me around town when he was off work and I can't thank him enough. The facility is clean and accessible, my bunk was warm and comfortable, the bathrooms were pristine and the common area was bustling and full of life, I will stay here again without question. Highly recommend.

Good places for young travelers”
All necessary facilities and serviced are well provided. Staffs are friendly and speak decent English. I would say that each room accommodate too many guests and somehow it might feel cramped in here even it is actually a large space. I guess it is a perfect choice for solo travelers or college students. However, for me, it is still worth every penny.

Good value for money”
It’s good value for money. I slept in a dorm room and other people were just really loud. Not the hostels fault though. Yo get complimentary tea and coffee which is a nice plus. Bathroom was clean. Would visit again.

Great experience!! ”
There are three things that I look at while rating a place I stayed at: staff, cleanliness and facilities. Irori hostel ticks all the boxes. First of I have never met such a friendly and welcoming staff members. Big shout out to Yuki here who was checking me in. He took his time to explain everything to me all the hostel rules and answered all my questions. He instantly made me feel like home. He even joined us on a free walking tour on the next day even though it was his day off. It must be a treasure to have him work as a staff member. I wish all of the people working in the hospitality industry have been so dedicated to their jobs. The second thing that is very important to me is cleanliness. The common areas as well as bathrooms and showers were spotless clean. I also like my dormitory room. It was warm and clean and everyone was very respectful to each other. And the last thing are facilities. There are two huge kitchens there that serve delicious breakfast lunch and dinner!!

Best hostel experience in Tokyo!”
This is a unique guesthouse that has "convertible" small charcoal pit on their tables on the 1st floor. You can enjoy grilled fish, smores, or even hot Japanese sake using the pit. It's surrounded by four subway stations, which will only take you 10 minutes or less to each of the station. The staffs were great! Good English, warm welcome, and very friendly manner! One of them went above and beyond during my stay! The bunk bed was comfortable and has an extra space inside it to accommodate about 2-3 regular sized backpacks.

Close to many food options, all the train lines a tourist could need & a supermarket. Bed was really comfy. There were 3 charging ports and enough space by my bedside for me to place my luggage (a carry-on). Always able to shower and brush my teeth without waiting. Lights out on the women-only floor was enforced at 11pm but there's a bedside lamp. The staff managing the hostel were really friendly and I enjoyed my stay here. Advice: get a bed away from the staircase and toilet if you're staying on the women-only floor.

Plus: - near JR train service - sandwiched between 3 train stations with links to Asakusa and Shinjuku line (all is connected underground) - very sturdy bunk bed, not a single squeaking sound - nice shower room with hot water - quiet neighborhood - free power plug adaptor - amazing and delicious "cook your self" breakfast for 500 yen - discount coupon that you can use everyday to buy beverages (alcohol and non alcohol) Minus: - although the location is near JR station, JR Sobu line is very far from central tokyo station - we have to prepare our own bed on day 1 and bring the used sheet down when we checked out - towel and slipper are available for rent

only next 2 stop from Tokyo station, also direct line from Narita airport. There're local stores, drug store, convenience store and restaurant near the hostel. Single bed on the 2nd floor is very comfortable. There's a toilet on each floor, but shower rooms are on the 6th floor. The staffs are nice, they help me keep my shoes for 3 nights while I'm off to Hokkaido.

Cheap breakfast(500 yen), with rice, soup and fish(grilled in traditional way in front of you). Worth trying =) Friendly helpful staff, two or more of them speak fluent English. Two kitchens at ground floor and top floor with enough utensils and much space and sitting area. Free drinks, snacks and postcards. Hairdryers and some toiletries available(for shower and hair). Designed space besides each bed for belongings. Hangers and lights available. Clean. Close to 2 stations(different lines), not main stations though. Still quite convenient. Supermarkets that operates til late night(11pm) in the area.
