“Excellent”
Our stay in Isis Bungalow is like a rollercoaster - with up and down. Coming from Hennan Tawala for our 1st night, we failed to manage our expectation. We have just enough funds for this vacation; just not sufficient to spend the whole of 3 nights in Hennan. So we moved to Isis Bungalow for our 2nd-3rd night stay in Panglao. Our first night at Isis ( this is our 2nd night in Panglao) was not a fun memory. The room is cramp. My real issue was the bathroom. There are black big spots in the ceiling; I can’t seem to know what are those - like insects. Got scared. When we open/close the door - they are not moving/flying. So they are not insects. Outside our room, there is a faucet; probably for washing feet for those who came from the beach and/or washing kitchen utensils (just a guess) so it was a bit noisy in the evening when we are preparing for our night sleep. Moreso, that left our front door wet. A slip risk for us (we are sr - old). I didn’t keep it to myself. I message the property and the following morning, I was able to talk to the manager (I guess so). She is soft spoken and said that she will ask the housekeeping to check on our concern. This is the best part, the Isis management and staff really seriously took care of our concerns We were transferred to another room which is a lot better than the first. The housekeeping team is to be commended; they are very courteous and prepared the new room really fine to spend our stay comfortable. It is really about having a good conversation and both parties willing to find amicable solutions. I would still recommend the place - nice view because it is beach front. If you are particular on state of your accommodation, do not choose standard room - it is so basic. There are other room categories to choose from anyway.
