We wanted a quiet escape and coconut island was somewhere I had never been to despite multiple trips to Thailand. It is remote and you feel as though you are in the middle of the jungle / completely remote in the resort, which is what we were looking for. However please make no mistake - this is not a place to stay if you are intending to go into Phuket itself daily. We read many negative reviews (which worried my greatly, if I am honest) but our experience was very positive. Pros: - The island is so beautiful and secluded with incredible views. It felt like a unique experience and it was very beautiful. - Taking the little motorbike tuktuks around the island and seeing more of Thai daily life. - We had incredible seafood on the island. Our tuk tuk driver took us to a floating restaurant in the sea which is famous for seafood. Taking a longtail boat (free) to the restaurant and back was an incredible experience and unforgettable. The food was also phenomenal. - Our rooms were not super fancy (maybe a solid 4* more than 5*) but it was very clean and comfortable. We were given free water bottles which they refilled upon request without charge. We had beautiful view of the nature and a children's play area from our balcony. - I hate insects and have to commend them for keeping it relatively bug free given the location. None in the room, few mosquitoes unless near the beach (which is to be expected). - Hotel restaurants were well priced (except the seafood restaurant which was more expensive) and they have a great happy hour for cocktails in the pool. - The pool was great, had vibey music and overlooked the ocean. Very clean and well kept. Loved being able to have drinks in the pool. Cons: - There is only so much to do on the island. We stayed for 2 nights which was the perfect duration for us and I wouldn't want to stay longer than 3 nights here. - I did find the breakfast did not live up to 5* standards, and again is much closer to a 4* hotel. The live egg station was a highlight. - I noticed some insects etc near the buffet (which we did not eat). This definitely raises hygiene concerns which they should work on. - The staff were nice but not as friendly as the staff we had encountered while we stayed in Phuket. Perhaps this is due to a language barrier, as we noticed many of them did not speak much English and there was a lot of miscommunication. Despite this, they tried their best and were helpful so it did not really impact our stay. - The buggies are GREAT!! Loved them. However we were sometimes waiting for ages for a buggy and noticed there was not clear communication from reception to the buggy drivers (sometimes we had to request it multiple times, delaying us). - The transfer to the island was not well explained and we were incorrectly told by staff when we called that we needed to go to Laem Hin Pier for the free transfer. When I called and explained the situation to the hotel, they sorted out a longtail boat to bring us across for free and solved the problem. While the miscommunication was an issue, I really appreciate how prompt they were in solving it for us and they did not try to unfairly charge us for this. Overall, the hotel is not perfect nor is it a true 5* hotel but we loved our stay and the location, and would definitely return.

We had a nice stay, but the hotel is like 4 star at best. Our pool access room looked just like the photos, and the pool was big, peaceful, and really well maintained. The room was cleaned every day, but the pool towels they left were often stained. Golf cart service was convenient, and the resort itself is lovely to walk around with a relaxing vibe. The staff were great always smiling and helpful, especially the front desk team. Breakfast was quite limited and refills took forever. The food is definitely overpriced, the Thai and international restaurants were delicious but please, avoid the Italian restaurant though, the pasta tasted off and the service felt unwelcoming. The spa was a highlight for us, definitely recommend it. Overall, it’s a beautiful resort with wonderful staff, but there are better places if you’re looking for a true 5 star experience.

Our accommodation was nothing short of perfect, from the luxurious décor to the comfortable amenities, making it feel like our own private retreat. Every morning, we woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, surrounded by the beauty and tranquility that the resort has to offer. We loved every single moment of our stay, from the enchanting spa treatments to the peaceful relaxation by the pool. It was an experience that will remain in our hearts forever, and we are already dreaming of the day we can return. I booked a room with a garden view, but upon arrival I saw that my room was looking out onto the children's playground. This should have been mentioned online because it's a different experience. Also, I could hear the guests in the room next to mine talking and heard their TV playing. In a 5-star hotel this shouldn't be the case. Personally, I could do without having to listen to music in a lot of the public areas. The hotel is situated in the most beautiful and green surroundings that it would ne nice just to have the sound of the birds and the waves around you. Apart from these minor inconveniences I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this magnificent resort. The staff is genuinely friendly and they make sure you are having an unforgettable time. The breakfast is exceptional with an amazing choice of delicious food. And being able to enjoy this sublime breakfast with views of the sea in front of you in a peaceful environment is a great way to start a relaxing day at this lovely resort. As I am very lucky to be living and working in Phuket, I am already planning my next stay at the Island Escape Burasari. So, see you guys soon and keep up the fantastic work that you are doing 👍.

“Exceptional”
From the very first step of the trip, I knew right away that "this trip is going to be amazing!" When I arrived at the pier, there was a private boat service. As soon as my feet touched the island, the atmosphere was just wonderful, feeling like I had stepped into a different world. The room was incredibly beautiful, decorated in a minimal yet luxurious style, with a fragrance reminiscent of a spa. The air conditioning was refreshing. It was the best! The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering Thai food, international dishes, bread, fresh coffee - a complete feast! Plus, the sea view in front was perfect for eating while taking pictures. The facilities were well-equipped, with multiple swimming pool zones, free kayaking, boxing, volleyball, and a chill pool bar that was super relaxing. But the highlight of everything was the care provided by all the staff, who were kind and charming, rated 100/10. A big thank you to Nicky, Chuk, Fah, Tan, Aemm, and Kevin, along with all the team members, for taking such good care of us. Everyone was so lovely and friendly, paying attention to the little details, making us feel at home. I will never forget this experience. For anyone looking for a place to relax both body and mind, I highly recommend this place. Island Escape Burasari is the true "Escape." An important highlight that everyone should see is the sunrise at the viewpoint. It’s incredibly beautiful!
