The hotel is not ideal for fun holidays, maybe a family stay in would be more accommodated. It's far from the city centre and you end up spending more money and time on the road. Not the best location. The place is averagely clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. The facilities are good cause they have a good tv and air conditioner. Overall it's not a bad place. it was just not too convenient for my trip.

This property is being advertised with a bait rate and one pic of room. Hard to decide if it’s worth booking with that one pic of room. Arrived at property as I had seen hotel from outside personally. Only to find out that they have kind of servant quarter building which is separate from main hotel, outside which is like a hostel. I saw people walking in corridor in their boxers. Rooms were smelling. Toilet and shower was a match box . Paid R750 a night. Totally not worth it. By the way they have a nice bar in the hotel. Staff and food is great in that bar.

Very enjoyable. Great Indian food at the restaurant; curries and bunnies. Good sports bar. Limited TV channels and no wi-fi access in the old part of the hotel. 20km from downtown Durban. Well suited for weddings, groups and meetings.

Excellent Hospitality, large room”

First the staff were amazing, very friendly and supportive. The room is very comfortable (large, clean and good bed). The food is not that good and I was not happy with the hygiene of the restaurant. It really need some work to meet the standard of the hotel. One thing unusual I saw in this hotel is that they don't have information paper in the rooms, you have to ask for everything. They should have information package in the rooms.

it was honestly not a bad hotel but in a bad area with no approved booking from Agoda and the hotel dining-room looked like a cheap canteen.

Experience below expectation”

The experience was definitely below our expectations. The rooms had no fridge - in Durban's sweltering heat. Which meant we couldn't have cold water or store cool drink. Most of the time The TV showed only one channel, despite the fact that all rooms are supposed to have satellite TV. The first morning of our stay we left snacks in the room - when we returned in the afternoon they had disappeared! From then on we had to lock juices in a suitcase for safekeeping. We reported this but nothing happened. Shampoos and body lotion were not supplied were the room was made up. We only had one sachet of shampoo and body lotion on the first day of our arrival. The next two mornings we didn't have these. The wardrobe had only one hanger. We requested at least six. When the 5 additional hangers were supplied, 3 were broken! The two sinlge beds that are pulled together to make a double bed do not have a fitted sheet, so the loose sheet shifts all night, making it quite uncomfortable to sleep. There is no switch on the window side for the bedside lamp. So if one is sleeping by the window, they have to walk around the bed to switch off to avoid waking up the other person who's closer to the switch. At the daily rate of R766,00 per room we could have got breakfast at all other bed and breakfast establishments that we use so often in Durban and elsewhere. So, our overall experience is that this was not good value for money at all. Quite disappointing actually.

O hotel é bastante distante de Durban. A Agoda deveria deixar claro também na reserva que existem três tipos de acomodação e que as fotos do site são do prédio principal. O "lodge" é bem mais simples, porém os quartos são limpos e adequados. O café da manhã é muito bom e a equipe bastante atenciosa.
