This is hands down the best hotel for it’s facilities (onsen, smoking area, and even free breakfast) for a really cheap price! We even got a welcome gift from the staff. The place itself is around 7 mins walk, with a lot of eating places and cafe. Not to mention the places opens until around 4 am. For those who are staying looking for a night out, this place is surely close to it!

It's a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, the osen is closed for renovation and only opened on the day I checked out. If I go to Nagano again, I will stay there again.

Very good location, near the train station. also within walking distance to Zenkoji temple through Chuo dori street. The hotel seems to need repair and maintenance. Breakfast is ok.

Great for overnight stay ”
Hotel was not too far from train station and very easy to get to. Staff spoke a little English and I was able to communicate easily. They were very nice and helpful. There was a onsen on 2nd floor. Rooms were small, but I knew that when reserving it. Clean rooms. Breakfast was vasic, but free, so no complaints.

Iets verder lopen dan andere hotels, maar de voorzieningen maken het waard”
Er liggen diverse hotels direct tegenover Nagano Station, het Island Hotel vergt echter een wandelingetje van een minuut of 5. Het hotel heeft ten opzichte van die concurrente echter twee flinke pluspunten: een bescheiden maar toch zeer aangename onsen, en een prima gratis ontbijtbuffet. Ook voor de rest valt er bar weinig op het hotel aan te merken, het is in alle opzichten gewoon een keurig businesshotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Grootste kritiekpunt: de genoemde onsen is maar tot 23u geopend.

楽しい旅行になりました”
善光寺のご開帳で、近くのホテルを検索していましたが、だんとつに価格がお手頃でアイランドホテルに決めたのですが、安すぎて大丈夫？とかえって心配になるくらい^_^でしたが、お部屋も清潔感あり、スタッフの方々の接客も丁寧で安心しました。しかも大浴場があるのもポイントが高いです。ゆっくりと旅の疲れがとれて、身体の芯まで温まりました。長野駅からも近いので、外食するにも全く困らず、立地も凄くよかったです。翌日、善光寺に行くのに、7時前の朝早くのチェックアウトにも気持ち良く見送りして頂き、車もお昼まで預けていてもOKで、全てにおいて、お得感満載のホテルだと思いました。おススメしたいホテルです。

ビジネスホテルなのに大浴場が付いていて良かったです。疲れが癒やされました。シャンプーやリンスも備え付けのものだけでなくボタニストなどから選べて、ホテルにありがちな髪がギシギシになる事態を防げました。ビオレのメイク落としもあって大変助かりました。 唯一残念なのは、夕方フロントへチェックインに来た際の受付の方の気怠げな感じが気になりました。高級宿ではないので完璧な接客を求めてはいませんが、件のフロントの方以外はしっかりした接客をされていたので際立って感じてしまいました。 総合して大変満足しています。

コロナ以降、制限のないゴールデン中、 善光寺ご開帳期間に宿泊しました。 街はすごく混んでいましたが、 チェックイン前、チェックイン後も駐車場を使用させてくれて、善光寺、長野駅にも歩いて動けました。 女性スタッフがとても親切丁寧で、 気持ちよく滞在できました。 また機会があったら宿泊したいと思います。
