Amazing great value place to stay!”

We find a really good deal on Agoda for the property and decided to book. We were a bit skeptical as it sounded a bit to good to be true, so we didn't have high expectations. We booked a backpacker cabin which is a small cabin with two bunk bed. We were check in at the reception by a really helpful girl that showed us all the facilities and our room. She figured out we were a couple and she ask us if we would like a cabin with a bunk bed that as a double size bed and that was really appreciated. Every cabin has its outside patio with a picnic table and its own fridge. There is a big kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meal. All the amenities were well taken care of and clean. The property is also situated directly on the beach which is beautiful. There is also free kayaks to rent and a nice swimming pool. We stayed 2 nights as we were only passing by but we could have easily stay much longer. One of the best places I've stayed in New Zealand.

Two superannuitants who booked on line special deal, we were pleasantly surprised with the relaxing quirkiness of the ‘jungle village’ accommodation. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Ablutions were clean and efficient. Staff we interacted with were genuinely friendly. The lounge/ dining with its WW1 theme decor was creative. Our late-Oct stay was relaxing.

Perfect spot for family holiday ”

Perfect place to spend holiday with young and older kids. Fabulous beach, comfortable accommodation (we booked deluxe cabin) , a lot attractions on camp ground. We will come back again!!!

Exceptional”

We stayed in Jungle Village, Excellent value for money, the only thing we weren’t happy about was having no onsite parking and having to leave car out on the road for 3 days, which was also crowded.

Family Friendly campsite with comfortable cabins”

Ideal location for either a one-night stay on the drive around the East Cape of NZ, or for a longer stay camping holiday.

We arrived late afternoon. The place is located beachfront, with a lot of amenities I.e.: tennis court, volleyball court, swimming pool and kayaks. Nice family environment. The owner is always trying to help and make your stay flawless. Rooms we stayed were clean and with new matresses. Remember to bring your own cutlery and linen as it is not provided. Location is superb, just a 30 seconds walk and you are at the beach.

Lovely room, really friendly helpful staff and will be back to stay again soon. The facilities are great and the location couldn't be better, right on the beach front and only 5 mins drive to the town of Opotiki.

long weekend stay”

stayed in a standard cabin with my wife and 2 kids under 3. best time ever. beach right there, cooking facilities right outside cabin. air con was nice so we could sleep at night, being summer it was very hot. everything was clean especially toilets and shower and management were delightful. look forward to staying again.

Motu Challange stay”

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in a secure and friendly environment. Staff were very helpful and not imposing.Facilities were spotless and ample kitchen and bathroom areas for all to use. They are at present doing renovations which will further enhance this lovely spot by the sea. We would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend strongly to friends with or without children.

Super holiday Park mit allem drum und dran”

Durchweg sehr angenehm. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der gesamte holiday parkt liegt wunderschön am Strand und ist mit den verschiedensten Unterbringungsnöglichkeiten ausgestattet. Momentan sind noch ein paar neue Doppelzimmer im Bau, was den Aufenthalt aber in kleinster weiße beeinträchtigt hat.
