Get beachfront and you'll fall in love ”
It is a little noisy being nesr the restaurant and bar when you are oceanfront, and the water there isn't meant for swimming, great for a walk or fun and nearby restaurants. The view outside your room is unbeatable. It's a great bungalow I found so much peace in, and stayed almost a week while doing some day tours. Water an electricirt can come and go. Massage will come to your room, breakfast is included and decent. Many places nesr in corong corong no major need to go to El Nido except tours. Staff is friendly, sometimes hard to find. Rooms are cleaned well when you request
View is a million dollar view!”
Could say more for this deal.. Cheap and you will get a best experience!
Basic but good”
On the beach -fantastic views -out of the town rush with restaurants near by -basic room -air con-fridge and comfortable bed -had the room with balcony and beach view -good pick -nice stay
Rat Infested. Big Rats. Do not stay.”
Friendly staff but this hotel is rat infested. (Big rats! One foot long rats.) We were in the room, watching tv when we noticed something running on the ceiling beams. We turned on the lights and to our surprise, it was a very huge rat! (Dagang Kanal) We didn't check feedbacks or reviews prior to booking and we found out that other guests had the same issue while reading the feedbacks. Totally not worth the money, you can get a cleaner hostel/cheaper hotel in the area for the same price. We couldn't check out as they have a no refund policy. We had to stay there for 4 days and 3 nights : ( After seeing the rat, we informed the receptionist immediately and he was nonchalant about it like it was a normal issue for them. He came with us back to the room with a mouse trap. (They have many of these, so it is a normal thing for them) He placed it on top of the cabinet. On the third day, we woke up in the middle of the night because we heard a crying/squeaking sound. The big rat got trapped.
Affordable but not quality.”
They were suprised to have us there. The booking was not reserved correctly although payment has been made. The staff are nice but the accomodation itself was barely below expectation. The rooms are not lit well, drainage needs improvement, aircon not strong. Though the breakfast buffer is great!
View is nice ”
The View of the hotel is ok with sea view in my balcony but there is a problem that the wifi and TV is not working, so i need to use my own internetby the way, but everything is quite ok and the price is cheap with sea view
No shower, toilet had to flush with bucket No wifi
Great location without breaking the bank”
Pros + the location was right smack on the beach and for the rate i got for my room, this is a super big plus! + the room i booked had a balcony and a view of the beach + the bed was firm and the resort provided sufficient pillows + towels were provided + walking distance to the Pods district where there are a few restaurants + unlimited instant coffee available in the restaurant + was also pleasantly surprised that my booking came with daily buffet breakfast. If you’re not choosy with food, their breakfast will do the trick. Cons - i am not expecting a lot but a roll of tissue should have been provided - i put up the sign to clean my room, but when i came back after the end of a full day of island hopping, they didn’t do so - staff is helpful depending on who you talk to. I requested for a towel and they said they will bring it to my room. Never got it. These are minor things that can be easily fixed/remedied. Will I stay again? Sure! The pros outweigh the cons anyway.
Accommodating staff. Clean rooms but not too cool a/c. No wifi in rooms & slow wifi in resto. Breakfast buffet served was a 2 in a scale of 1-5. No cockroaches but a rat came to drop by our room :) water heater not functional. Hotel is far from the town proper
great stay but no wifi and the water from the faucet smelling bad during our stay...
Location: Right on the beach and away from the center of El Nido, but not that far. My room faced the bay with a fantastic view of the sunset from my balcony. They might think of improving their breakfasts though. Yes, I would stay here again.
The place is good and staff are friendly. Restaurant does not offer much, though. Saw a menu for vegetarian food but the restaurant says they do not offer the vegetarian dish yet. It is better to use mineral water for brushing teeth.
nice location for sunsets”
ensure to have a beachview room! shower-water smells sometimes in the beginning
The rooms aren't new but they are clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful staff. Island front is a short pedicab ride from the shops, restaurants, and bars. It's far enough away to be quiet and relaxed but close enough to get to anything you want to do quickly. Their WIFI wasn't very good but I found out it was a common problem for that area. If you've traveled to the Philippines before you know there's a possibility for power outages but the islandfront has a backup generator which was nice to see when other places were in the dark.
Water is dirty”
Good sea view in our room, but the water is dirty. There is a Dog is barking at 3am. I will not go back again here unless they have clean water.
Great location shame about the paper-thin walls”
Literally one sheet of bamboo separating rooms so you can hear every single word your neighbour says. Lovely staff though and great setting on the beach.
Only the seaview”
We stayed in Deluxe Double Sea View Room from 28 Mar to 1 Apr 2017. Negative 1.) Dirty 2.) without maintain 3.) Staff helpless 4.) You need to ask them to turn on the hot shower water for you, but some time without hot water for shower. 5.) toilet cannot flush 6.) many mosquito and ant. 7.) the door of balcony cannot lock and they haven't any security personnel. my wife lost her sunglasses but the box still here. 8.) next door is a Karaoke, is noisy until to 11pm. Positive: 1.) only the seaviw, but you need to fight with the army of mosquito. 2.) The staff of restaurant are good and nice. And the breakfast is simply but OK.
Even for the value to money ratio, this hotel is still not worth paying for. No hot water, and at times the water even came out brown, and had a disgusting smell to it. The staff was very unpleasant, to the point where they were just rude and had the "I don't care" attitude towards customers. Finally, the hotel is surrounded by locals (actual shacks on the beach where the hotel is) that stay up all night and own roosters that crow all day long. The only positive thing about the hotel was the tours they offer and the great view from the beach to enjoy.
Very pleasant stay. We had the room right in front of the beach. ”
Only thing you have to bear is the roosters crowing in the early hours next to our room.
Nice location, ok value for money but terrible staff”
Located at the beginning of Corong-Corong beach, it's a few minutes of tricycle away from El Nido town and directly on the beach (great to enjoy the sunset). Prices in El Nido tend to be high so I guess for what you pay you get a decent package (rooms are big, the bed is not the best I had but Ok and the bathroom is clean enough) The staff is terrible though, any interaction with them and it looks like talking to you is the worst thing they had to do in their lifetime. Avoid eating at the restaurant as it's the longest service I have experienced (and I'm talking Palawan standards). Good midrange option for sleeping, avoid eating and talking to the staff.
