Good”
The stay was great, but needed some work with rooms. It's what you expect for the price staying in a province style hotel. Very near from the hundred island park. Close to everything except restaurants, you needed to take a car. Their hotel restaurant was delicious especially their sea food Kare kare.

needs revamping ”
This hotel has seen its former glories as evident by the photos in its wall. A little TLC specially in the cleaning and meeting photo expectations would surely bring this property back. The supporting staff are great but the reception and manager seem to be lost. We arrived with a booking for 4 rooms and they could not arrange for our rooms. We needed to call agoda to help settle our rooms. When we got to our very dusty rooms, lint filled small beds awaited us. Over all, there are better properties near the hundred islands that are much more appealing than this.

Additional bed for child in each room was just a fold down 3" matress toilet paper roll was not full”
We rented 2 rooms. Obe room hadno remote control for old tv, and other was damaged, The whole place has lots of potential for 3 + star hotel, The lobby bathroom floor was very wet n dirty, tile very loose n cracked in lobby to one of buildings Internet did not reach strong enough to room I stayed in unless door was opened, the rooms are ver small for big n bulky bamboo furniture, other than that it was very cozy around pool Even though small but setting of whole place can do better. Employees were nice and could have been more helpful to avoid neighboring children playing around only small parking n water fountain. The breakfast was ok my order got was not done right hut got corrected nice setting g for breakfast..

3D OR 4TH Class hotel”
The single room I stayed in had no hot water - the heater used to be on the shower wall but has been torn out. There was back mold all around the sink. The sheets on the bed while obviously washed looked very old and worn. Someone thought it a good idea to open the window and turn on the air conditioning. I did not discover that fact till morning after wondering all night why the room was not cooling down even though the air conditioning seemed to be putting out cold air. They have no wifi for which there is no excuse - the investment to get is very small. I was asked how many eggs I wanted as part of the free breakfast and I said two. What came appeared to be about half of one scrambled egg. Will never stay there again.

average but over rated hotel”
staff, location and room size
the hotel was old. it needs renovation. the flush of the toilet bowl is broken. it has a pool but not usable since it looks dirty and noticed some frogs. the only good thing about this hotel is their staff and location. it is only good to stay here overnight, when you're going to hundred islands. since it is very near hundred islands. there are only a few hotels in alaminos. when you want nicer hotels, i recommend you better stay in dagupan.

shabby hotel, dirty rooms, no wifi”
about 5km from hundred islands nature park
stayed here once before, but it seems to have gone downhill. the wifi didn't work, the pool round the back was going pond like green colour, the rooms had old bamboo furniture, including a creeking old bed, the bathroom wasn't clean and mould was present on the grout between the tiles, the aircon was very noisy. the staff where friendly and very interested in asking us lots of questions, i think the hotel was almost empty. the free breakfast was small but tasty. this hotel wasn't good value in my opinion... there was no internet, pool was dirty and the rooms shabby... definitely won't stay there again

The hotel is near the town and environment quiet.”
Location is near town, environment quiet and the food is nice.
It was a short stay and quite okay. The distance between the hotel and the town is near and you can walk to town. Many available fast food restaurant in town and many shopping outlets. The food in the hotel is quite good and the swimming pool is ok for the kids.

You can find something better”
The rooms were bare, the locks were sketchy, the sheets were scratchy. They do not clean your room between days, the staff was confused as to what room we should be placed in upon arrival. The AC barely worked and we needed an additional fan to be put into the room. Additionally, the power went out on our last night and we decided to leave at 2:30am. The parking situation is also an issue- we could not park in front of the hotel because there was no space and had to park on a side street. Overall, you can pay a little extra and get a much nicer experience.

sa dami ng staffs, isa lng ung pwedng makausap ng customer regarding sa check in/out/queries.. so nung time na dumating kme almost 1hr b4 kme naaccom bcoz of a customer complaining at that time. kung hnd pa aq lalapit hnd nila ako tatanungin. We arrived late and gutom na kme but their kitchen are closed already so I ask kung may malapit na fastfood.. "di raw nila alam" so nagsearch aq around the area then I found out ang dame pala.. so I ask again kung pwed makitawag sa phone for delivery but the phone was not available.. I ask for their contact #s so if we have questions or we need something we can call them but the staff didn't gave it instead he instructed me to look for the numbers at the back of the door inside our room, but those numbers are not working. other thing-- I also ask them that night if they have package tour for hundred islands, good news meron including foods but the staff didnt tell me na kailangan a day b4 or that night nagsav nq pra naprepare nila. tsk!

old and dusty.”
I based my decission on booking this hotel based on the pictures you posted. Apparently, they were centuries old. Barely noticeable when you go there. The room given look cheaper than a motel with bamboo furnitures covered in dusts. Beside the bed was a small table with lamp that isn't working. An aircon that got birds nest, then there was this door that has their balcony over looking the restaurant roof and another building. We have to ask for toilet tissue, battery fo the remote that wasn't working and a rag. Their tv has 4 channels. The walls are filty and so was the ceiling. We booked on another Inn which wasva few steps from the Tourism Office of Hundred Island and it was just 2110 pesos with clean and complete amenities and well trained staffs. The staff in Islandia Hotel seems to be O.J.Ts. Thou they are accommodating they need more training.

One of the WORST”
Islandia Hotel, Alaminos, 100 Islands. ***** DISGUSTING*** Staying at this hotel was one of my WORST vacation experiences. + Bed sheets stained with dried blood + Bed very squeaky - could not move without waking the neighbor. + Lumpy pillows stuffed with rags + A FREE breakfast of 1/2 an egg, and dry rice + Bring your own soap - their soap is too small to use and smells bad + Shampoo was 1/2 of used, leftover tube. + Restaurant hot and uncomfortable - TOO CHEAP TO TURN ON AIRCON + Finally my main reason for choosing this hotel - the swimming pool - but it was CLOSED 100 Islands are beautiful and a great spot to vacation… Definitely worth visiting - BUT STAY AWAY FROM ISLANDIA HOTEL. If you want a swimming pool, clean sheets, try Northwood Hotel around the corner Marv Freeman USA

Islandia Hotel Review”
First, the "hotel" (if it can even be called one) was poorly maintaned. All the the locks of the sliding door and windows were all busted. Safety could be an issue as there were no guards in the building. Second, the "suite" smelled weird. It didn't smell clean. The pillows and bed sheets smelled like it wasn't washed properly. The shower smelled like molds. Third, as advertised in Agoda, the package should have included complimentary water bottle but it didn't. No watter glasses, no coffee mugs. In short, the basic amenities that one should be expeting in a hotel were not present. No intercom, you have to call room service via mobile. Fourth, when breakfast came, we were made to wait until there were available chairs. There was only one waiter who attended to customers. This place does not have any right to be called a hotel. DOT should start re-assessing this place as they are advertising that they are the only "hotel" in the area starred by DOT. Well, it didnt look like it, it didn't feel like it. For people who are considering to book a vacation or even an overnight stay here, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY in this crappy place.

A Place to Stay When In Alaminos”
Accommodating front desk staff. They serve Alaminos' longganisa for brekky which I liked. They have a pool too at the back if you want to take a dip after exploring Hundred Islands. I suggest that they improve on their bedroom and bathroom fixtures at their main building because it is a bit old already. Lastly, I hope they get to fix the door and have a better door knob because there were times that we need to pull it harder to close it when leaving the room.

Needs an update”
The rooms were on the small side. The shower and toilet didn't work properly. If you don't mind hard beds, then it's OK. If you prefer soft beds: this is not the place. The staff seem to be afraid of us... The overall feel was one on lacking hygene. Breakfast didn't have much choice. Most disappointing was the swimming pool: it was not cleaned, so we didn't use it. But on the good side: they organised a good trip round the 100 islands, good tourgide and good picknick.

Over priced and dirty”
apon checking in the staff was fine but the room was small, the toilet didn't flush and the air conditioner was not very effective. We tried to sleep but the only way to stay remotely cool was with a loud fan that made it seem like we were trying to sleep under a small airplane. We left early and locals led us to a more affordable and accommodating location near 100 islands.
