This is probably my favorite place to stay whenever i plan on spending the weekend or holiday in the city. The rooms is cozy and definitely great deal for your money if you're looking for comfort in the most affordable price.

The staff were all friendly. They are all accommodating. The place was neat and just right for a solo traveler like me who took the small size room since its affordable and accessible to Ayala and all other places around the city.

Exceptional”
For a solo traveller Islands Stay Hotel Uptown was a perfect choice. Being away for most of the day the accomodation provided the bare necessities after a whole day of roaming around Cebu. WiFi speed was pretty decent, though the shower pressure was a bit low hence the need to wait out the warm water to squeeze through. Overall, it was a pleasant stay!

Everything is okay with the hotel except that it doesn't have a table or a cabinet where we could put our things. So we ended up putting our things on the floor. I hope Islands Stay can do something about it. Thank you!

It says Wifi is available on the ad but it turns out that Wifi is only available at the Lobby Area. Staff was very accommodating.

Clean and comfortable bed”
Pros - location (walking distance from Ayala Center and there’s a 7/11 and Nuat Thai just across the street), friendly staff, bed and comforter are very nice Cons - the room has a smell and you can hear the rats from the ceiling running around (maybe celebrating Valentines too). Overall it’s ok for me since I’m not very particular and picky with accomodations as long as I have a safe and comfortable place to sleep through the night.

Pros: friendly staff, few minutes walk to ayala mall, easy check in, comfortable bed and pillows Cons: has seen better days, low water pressure, at times no water for showering at all, no hairdryer, no water heating, no complimentary toothpaste, wifi signal is so weak in the room it's practically useless, walls are thin, i can repeat back the conversation of someone using the phone outside of the room. I'd recommend this as a place to sleep nothing more. I do wish the management would renovate the place because it's a budget friendly option for travellers. Its current status feels like someone had a good idea 10 years ago and then didn't bother with the upkeep.

i never been so disappointed in a hotel before until i book this hotel... no bad comment about the staff but the hotel was so small for a group of 4, lights are bad, CR are the worse i even got stuck inside the CR coz the door was stuck... i can't sleep coz the walls are too thin you can hear all the noise outside. what i cannot stand even the CR don't have toilet tissue holder. i will not go back ever...

Pros : Good location. A few minutes walk to house of lechon, 7 eleven, 24hr massage, ayala mall. Cons: The small single bed room is really small. No table & chair. No dental kit. The shower is the worst. Only hot shower option, cant adjust the temperature. The water pressure is so slow and so little water coming out. They only provide 1 pillow. They will charge per day for additional pillow. Cleaning of room is upon request. I dont think they even change my bedsheet when i ask them to clean eat as it still looks like the same bedsheet.

It's OK for an overnight for those with tight budget”
Location is great.Close to Ayala Center. No window and just very basic room. It is not dead cheap , but... There was a cat walking on the roof which we can clearly hear. It happened many times during that night. There also was a noise coming from outside which we didnt figure out what. Not a peaceful sleep though. If you can find some other place to stay that comes a little higher price but with a comfort, i suggest you do take it. Or do research some accom around the area.
