About Islands Stay Hotels - Uptown

Description

Islands Stay Hotels - Uptown is located in the heart of Cebu's premier business and commercial district. With establishments like Ayala Mall, cafes, and restaurants located around the area, it is the perfect place for travelers who are always on the go. Cebu's top heritage spots - Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino, Magellan's Cross, and Fort San Pedro - are also accessible from the hotel.

For Islands Stay Hotels - Uptown, location is the key. It is strategically situated in areas where food and shopping establishments are just a walk away and where transport links are easily accessible.

The hotel is patterned after the Japanese concept of no-fuss, no-frills accommodations, the first of its kind in its niche, and is growing more and more popular in the Philippines.

Rooms are comfortable and equipped with the basics – a flat-screen TV, hot and cold showers, snooze-worthy beds, free Wi-Fi access in the lobby, and good design. It is also the hotel's advocacy to deliver the highest standards of customer service. Islands Stay Hotels - Uptown is perfect for travelers who are looking to stay at great locations with low prices.

Convenient location
The best thing about this hotel is its location: just a few meters away from Ayala Center Cebu. You can easily hail a cab or a jeepney if you wanna explore Cebu City. Staff are friendly as all Cebuanos are. Wouldn't mind staying here again though facilities need improvement esp the guest rooms.

Good location
Overall is good but the AC is very noisy, we even wake up in the middle of the night because of the noise , soundproof is weak we can hear ppl talking outside the room clearly, bed is small, it's stated there double bed but it is just like a larger single bed. The staff was good and helpful, we couldn't get any adapter by the time but the staff just remove their adapter from the computer and lend it for us FOC

Ok for overnight
Good pts: - Cable TV - Hot and cold shower - Big beds, spacious room Not so good pts: - Staff were so-so - During the night, staff were blasting music that can be heard in the rooms. Had to ask them to tone down a bit.

Best for Backpackers - No frills hotel - You get what you pay for
This place is best for backpackers or those who simply need a place to sleep, bathe and keep their luggage. I booked for a the medium sized room and all it has is a double sized bed, a small flatscreen TV, a split type aircon and bathroom. A small table to put things would be very useful though. It is very near the Ayala Center Cebu mall and other establishments so it is very convenient to get your food outside or buy something. Also good starting point for your travel around the city since Jeepney/Multicab terminals are nearby.

It is not a hotel, not even a comfy space to stay.
-very small space, no window.Old bedsheets. Small bathroom, water pressure too slow, toilet dnt flush, - they dnt clean their rooms or change bedsheets everyday.not even collect garbage daily.. Phone is not useful. - you can find better hotel pension house or hotels at their price. - not worth it, we transferred to another hotel.

need to improve
Need to clean the sheets and pillow cases, it has a lot of stains. Need to set up more racks or hooks for clothes. NO hot water. Need to make room more sound proof.. you can literally hear people talking from outside your room and the banging from the room beside ours.

Rooms with no window suck
AC blowing on the bed, no window and a roach in the room, not too good. Location was fine and the internet worked fine
