Excellent cosy spot in Manado”
Istanaku Guesthouse was an excellent place to stop over in Manado. We travelled all over North Sulawesi from Manado and it was very easy to get a grab car to and from the airport and to arrange personal pickups to Tangkoko, Tomohon, Bitung and Bunaken. The room is cosy with a modern toilet and TV channels in English and the staff were polite and helpful, seeing to all our needs. Nearby there is a famous Manado cake shop called Christine's Klappertart which is worth a try! All in all we enjoyed our stay in this very thoughtfully decorated place.

Strategic location, friendly staffs, clean, affordable price, surrounded by several souvenir shops. I would like to stay here again! I have no doubt to tell you that Istanaku 2 is a perfect choice if you search a budget accommodation in Manado.

Good location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. We were there to extend our visas so we stayed in Manado for one week. Great place, comfortable, cheap price. We went to tangkoko and bunaken and when returning to Manado we always go back to Istanaku !

Contemporary with creative art give a modern feel. Sparkling clean and very comfortable rooms. Stayed at Istanaku I earlier and it's nice too (right across the road) just a bit older. Can't go wrong for a night's stay for when you need to be in Manado In transit to/from other places.

Very artsy place, clean, comfy and inexpensive ”
I stayed there for one night after a week of diving on bunaken island. Istanaku really stands out from other hotels becsuse the entire building incl. the rooms are nicely decorated. I picked this place because of the good rating and I can only agree with all other travellers, it's the best bang for the buck. I particularly liked the showers because the pressure and hot water was just perfect. I would stay there anytime again.

Clean & comfy”
It’s definitely a hotel, not a guesthouse, but a really nice one. It’s new, modern and comfy. There are a few restaurants around but nothing too exciting (although I don’t really consider Manado an exciting town, but that’s an other thing ;) ). The staff is nice, they even prepared the breakfast (although just toast and coffee) for us at 5am when we needed to leave for the airport. The WiFi is not too bad, the AC works and the shower is hot.

Really nice, clean and cosy small hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Small breakfast included. They don't have the restaurant, though there is on the other side of the road their "sisterhotel" Istanaku 1, but the restaurant over there was closed quite early in the evening. Couldn't find too many options for dinner just nearby, but if you walk a bit, you'll find places which are open more late. Also easy to walk to Megamall and to all the other shopping places if you're interested. All in all: liked the place a lot and will be back!! (Made the next reservation already:))

Stayed here couple of nights before heading to Bunaken. After spending five days there, came back for one night. And they remembered me:) Felt a bit like coming home<3 Staff is so friendly and helpfull -they'll arrange you a car to get to the airport, helped carrieng my bags and they are just lovely<3 Rooms are super clean (matters quite a lot to me) and there's a small breakfast included as well. All in all: would come back when in Manado and can easily recommend this nice little hotel to everyone<3

This place is fun, the design is catchy..worth the price, room was clean, the staff was really helpfull, bathroom was nice, cables, wifi, bathroom amenities, towels, all in, but if u need elevator to go up u wouldnt find it here, for me its fine coz i need the exercise 😁 Definitely will be back if i visit manado again

Great place with friendly staff. I got sick and had to stop diving for a couple of nights on my way to Lembeh. The staff here couldn't be more accommodating. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Not the greatest location but I wasn't interested in exploring manado I just needed a place to rest and this was perfect.

A really nice guest house with a good location. They offer a very nice atmosphere and the stuff is very friendly and helpful. If you need a budget stay in Manado you should consider this guest house. In walking distance you will find some good restaurants and malls. Also the public pier is only 1.5 km away so you don't need a taxi to go there.
