    Exceptional”

I would definitely go back to this hostel anytime because of the quality price ratio. - The hostel is in general clean, there is a lady cleaning that floor several times a day but I would recommend her to focus more on the showers and toilets as I could see the hair left in the shower rooms for two nights in a row. - There are many people at reception rotating, but in general all nice and friendly people. - The cleaning lady was sometimes too loud OMG, I was in the common area reading and she would come shouting while speaking on the phone or with other Chinese people. She should be the one leading by example as she is living there... - So many people spitting in the kitchen sink, so disgusting. There must be a sign saying it is forbidden to do so and even add a fee for this. I was talking to other people about this and we were all disgusted in general by those Chinese guests doing so. - Please write down no phone calls, video calls, seeing movies and reels in the room without headsets! For two nights I had some other two girls in the room coming back late and starting to watch movies and reels without headsets. I sent an email to the hostel complaining about this but nobody came back to me, even if the email is stated in the emails with the booking confirmation. - Overall the hostel is nice and clean, but is lacking some proper rules to the guests

    Terrible maid”

I stay many times in this property because the location and facility is good.but what make me not really satisfied is a maid. Many times a maid quarrel with a guest.A maid sleep at the same room with the guest and speak very louder. She will get mad when she saw a guest who's just come out from the bath room with the wet feet or when she saw any one left dining table little bit dirty or little bit rubbish. When she feel unhappy because got something she don't like, maybe that because she need to clean up so do more for her job,,she will act and drop something very hard to make a guest known shes unhappy.Shes really not friendly at all.i did stay there 3 days ago for 2 night.because I book separately so I got different room within 2 night.the first night I coming very late and I meet her at the bath room area.on the morning when I get my room key it was another room for me to stay.it was 11 am.when I check it out my new bed is empty,so i move all my stuff to a new room. And I meet her again.Suddenly she ask me with he louder voice.why I move to another room.? I said it was settle up by reception. She said I can't move to another room.shes tried to argue with me.she said she will ask people in charge about it.its so funny, why she have to argue with me about which room I have to stay. Is she a reception who's manage the room for all guest or what.? I believe many guest is not really happy and feel regret to stay there because maid how's act like a boss.

Perfect location and price, professional staff, some inconvenience of facilities”

The location is the best ever for budget travellers. Near 3 Mrt, but I highly recommend using Mrt Maxwell. Staff please add this info: Near Mrt Maxwell! We went to China town Mrt and we had to walk a lot to the hostel. On the South Bridge str head to Mrt Maxwell (only 5 mins away) you can buy bak kwa, there are several well-known speciality shops. And 2 big common food markets: China complex and Maxwell complex. And 2 famous sites: Buddha temple and Sri Marimaman temple. Opposite the hostel is Mosque street, where a lot of good open bars run. The receptionist counter has available umbrellas, which I really appreciate. Just the rooms and the beds are small. None of us used the lockers (travellers should bring your own locks too). So not much space in that room to move. I had to put my all suitcase and luggage on my bed and couldnt sleep straight all days. And the female restroom is right next to the receptionist’s counter! Feel quite uncomfortable to bring our clothes and stuffs from female room to that restroom, and it’s not a short way, too.

    perfect location”

Nestled in the heart of Chinatown, our recent stay at BEATS was nothing short of delightful. Situated away from the bustling traffic, yet conveniently close to the MRT and an array of food stalls, this hostel offers an ideal location for exploring the vibrant streets of Singapore. One of the highlights of our stay was the hostel's proximity to numerous coffee shops, perfect for starting our mornings with a cup of local brew. Whether craving a traditional kopitiam experience or a trendy café ambiance, we found ourselves spoiled for choice within walking distance. While the room may not have been extravagant, it provided all the comforts we needed for a pleasant stay. Clean and cozy, we found ourselves comfortably accommodated, with ample space for our group of four travelers. Overall, we highly recommend BEATS for groups seeking a convenient and budget-friendly accommodation option in Singapore's Chinatown. With its prime location, comfortable rooms, and abundance of nearby amenities, it truly made our visit to the Lion City memorable.

Great place, good location, hassle free check in”

The location is perfect. Easy accessible, very near to Chinatown. Walking distance to Niu Cher Shui to the 1 star Michelin chicken rice, Hawker Chan and Maxwell Hawker Centre. My 9 year old kid just love this place. With hot shower, friendly environment, clean and bright atmosphere. Check in was smooth. Would definitely book this place again when visiting Singapore.
